This is the second time we’ve been to this restaurant. First we were seated downstairs on a loveseat that was caved in, and the table came up to my neck. Very uncomfortable. They moved us upstairs, but put us right in front of a door that lead to the outside balcony where everybody was going in and out. The food was OK. Nothing special. Very overprice for what we got. The service was very poor. They added 20% gratuity on our check automatically. We had to ask the server to take off the automatic gratuity. He said this was standard practice. Plus, they added a gratuity for the kitchen staff. There was no manager for us to talk to to discuss this. We went for my husband’s birthday which we told them about upfront. The table next to us got a sparkler surprise for their birthday and no one brought anything to my husband. Overall, it was very disappointing and I would never go back or recommend this restaurant.

My pork chop was dry. The "steak" knife couldn't saw thru it without great effort. A replacement steak knife was better but it still took significant effort to cut a piece. My friend's shrimp scampi was dry. Wait staff was not zoned and were going all over the place create a chaotic and unpleasant dining experience, not to mention slower service because staff was running upstairs, downstairs, out to the balcony, etc. 3 different servers between our table and 2 adjacent tables.

Evidently, ownership of this restaurant has changed since we were here last. I can say without equivocation that the quality of the food and service has continued at the high standards we have experienced here in the past. Very professional kitchen and staff. Sat at the bar this time. Charles the bartender was quietly professional with great knowledge of wine.

We ordered 4 entrees. My swordfish was very salty for my taste, but otherwise the other dishes were good. Beautiful view of the Castillo. Nice overall. I would ask for less salt next time. I am used to lots of salt on my meat, but this was over the top.

I ordered the raved about pork chop. It was cooked to perfection but lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes also were very bland. Waitress was perfect, atmosphere was perfect. Appetizers and cocktails were good too. My wife’s salmon looked over cooked and no good presentation.

It was a busy night, but our waitress, Beth, was nowhere to be found. Forgot our order and asked us 3 times, but we still didn’t receive the corn bread (appetizer by the way), until dessert time. The service was horrible, and so was the food. We ended up getting a different waiter to get our food and our bill. To say the least, it was a disaster. This is a very EXPENSIVE place, so expectations were extremely high. However, we were extremely disappointed. Never again returning.

Terrible service. Couldn't find our server, had to request help from hostess and other servers throughout the meal. Took 20 minutes to receive the check AFTER having to ask for it. Food was very average but nice location and ambiance.

Was very encouraged after the caesar salad and the bread. We were there for Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately the main course was a disappointment at $40 per entree we got prepared turkey breast that was very salty, not a roasted bird, mashed potatoes and green beans were fine albeit a little skimpy on the portions. Cranberry sauce tasted like it was out of a can. So Overall for a $270 meal with one drink each I was not impressed as the food was not what it should have been. Its a meal that if prepared at home would have been superior.

We went here for Thanksgiving dinner and had a wonderful meal. The food was excellent. The short ribs were like butter and the turkey was tender and juicy. We also order a cheeseboard which was beautiful. The service was a bit slow and we waited a very long time for dinner however we weren’t in a hurry so that was fine. The servers were fun and professional. There is a 20% gratuity added to all checks and an additional 1.5% for the kitchen staff. We usually overtip for good service and being a party of two feel that gratuities are a personal decision based on quality of service.

The menu was very limited (4 choices) and the Turkey did not taste like or appear to be Turkey. The only tasty part of the meal was the soup. The meal was delivered to the table and there was no cutlery on the table. $168 for 2 still hungry people with no desert and 1 drink each was disappointing.

This is a deceptively wonderful restaurant. The outdoor balcony dining affords an excellent view. The food is delicious and Beth, our server, made it a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner. Definitely a mistake. It was $40 for the turkey dish. It was cheap processed turkey not real. Probably a hormel processed Turkey. The Potatoes were ok but bland. One step up from boxed potatoes if not boxed. Green beens were good but just a basic sauté with butter. Corn bread ok. Portion wise we all left hungry and needed to go out to eat again. The beer was $10 for a bud light. Really. They cost $1 retail for a twelve pack. I think $6-$8 would have been fair $10 is fraud. The pie we paid $12. It was good but it was a sliver. One inch width at best at the crust side. Ruth Chris pricing, Golden Coral quality. Very disappointed. Would never return.

We love this restaurant!! We're locals who eat out often and particularly enjoy fine dining. Sainte George is fast becoming a favorite because we can count on a delicious creative meal that is always beautifully presented, excellent service and a terrific al fresco dining experience we love with beautiful views of the bay and the fort on one side, and fun people watching on the side that overlooks St. George Street. Another big plus is that it's so close to the parking garage, so parking is never an issue.

What an excellent find for brunch. The weather was great, and sitting outside overlooking the Fort was super nice. The food (chicken and waffle and avocado toast), drinks (Bloody Mary's), and service were all excellent.

A restaurant that at one time featured gourmet type dishes is no longer the case. The food seems to be prepared now by line cooks serving salty but otherwise bland dishes. Anything fried was burnt and tasted of stale oil. The waitstaff and hostess were fair at best. The view from outside decks is great no matter which side of the building however the overall experience has taken this restaurant off our list to return.

The view from the terrace facing north toward San Marco Avenue is the top al fresco dining experience in Downtown. Period. Hard. Stop! The food is very good. Classic French staples done quite well. We particularly enjoyed the Scampi and short Ribs. The views again, are magical. You could do much worse in St Aug.

Love this spot, we have been here a few times in the last year. Both the swordfish and the grouper were excellent. There are really no side dishes to speak of-a vegetable included would be good. My swordfish came with only white beans. Service was excellent too.

Our party of 5 all enjoyed our meals. It wasnt cheap but it was the best dinner we had in St Augustine. We had to eat inside because only parties of 4 or less could sit outside. So the dining room had mostly larger parties, which got a little noisy. I had trouble making the reservation because with Open Table, you could only reserve for up to 4 people. I tried calling the restaurant about 6 times, but no one ever answered. I finally had to go in person to confirm.

I took my wife here before a concert at the St Augustine Amphitheater. It was the perfect choice. They have a well stocked excellent bar a wrap around outside patio if you'd like to eat outside but the traffic might be a bit of a nuisance for you. Tables inside were beautiful food was excellent surface was top-notch it's a great date location we will recommend! They do make mocktails and have non-alcoholic beer.

The service was lacking. We had to ask about specials, not very personable. Forgot something twice that we had requested. Once food was served really didn’t come back to check on us and see if we needed anything else. If this had been my 1st visit here I’d never return again. I felt bad because I had brought someone along and had been telling them what a great restaurant it was, needless to say they weren’t impressed and probably won’t return

Had an amazing meal on the patio overlooking the river and the fort. Fried Green Tomatoes were amazing and the highlight of the night was the Short Rib Empanadas…. Best I’ve ever had, they melted in your mouth and were wrapped in a soft buttery pastry wrap! The Moscow “Muse” was an incredible drink as well.
