delicious food, great place for a small group! friendly and attentive service, cool vibe.
Always the best
I am still dreaming about the swordfish belly. What a brilliant dish.
Our waiter was helpful and a delight. Gave good intel on cocktails as well as food.
Can’t wait to come back.
Great service and almost every dish was outstanding. It is a sharing menu with decent portions of most selections. Great selection of coastal wines arranged by location including a very reasonably priced Sauvignon Blanc from NZ. My only criticism about the menu is that there were practically no “sides” or vegetables. The two non-fish proteins were beef and pigs ear terrine — we got the pigs ear which was disappointing in texture (crunchy) and flavor (needed salt). The oysters in the terrine were the saving grace. All the tables are high tops or bar, so if you’re not comfortable sitting up high — or sharing plates — maybe have a quick bite at the bar with one of the delicious craft cocktails. Risotto with eel and conch and the whole trout were the stand outs for me. Oh...and the pickled shrimp with onions....now I need to go back!!!
Food is delicious!
This was my second visit and couldn’t wait to go back.
Great spot, lovely ambience, special without being overdone. Cocktails on point. Food delicious.
Would only recommend for the cute atmosphere. Too expensive for the quantity & quality that we got. For example, the octopus carpaccio was way too thinly sliced for the price, and the swordfish entree was too fishy that I only could take one bite.
Greatest cocktail ever. Only downside: The tuna dish was misnamed. It was really a pasta dish with flecks of tuna. Truly disappointing because I didn’t think I was ordering pasta.
Took my friend for his bday, first time - the food was amazing, so were the drinks, and service. We will be back! Thank you!!
We came here for a birthday celebration. We ordered several items from the menu and the fluke ceviche and the Montauk squid were our favorites. Loved this adorable place nestled in the cobble hill neighborhood.
Birthday dinner for my husband and we had a friend join us last minute. They were able to accommodate seating an extra person and the food was delicious and creative. We all loved it!
very impressed with food quality and flavors here. Some very refreshing stuff: fried clams with black garlic aioli, venetian rice with smoked eel and conch, and mussels en escabeche. Nice work and the chef at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Amazing food and service! I would’ve loved the AC to be a little more effective but it was a hot day. They also ran out of the trout after we’d ordered but they graciously comped an alternate main dish—which was very nice.
Everything was A+ except the tuna casserole thing. It was overdone. Thankfully it was our last dish and we were already very satisfied.
Went here on a recommendation from a friend. It is a lovely small spot that is very charming with outstanding service and a staff that knows their food and their chef. The menu is creative and you should come with a sense of adventure. The Anchovies with vanilla butter was the best thing we ate. Amazingly delicious and I would even eat if tor dessert. The raw scallop tacos are my second favorite. Really creamy and delicious and not to be missed. And for a fresh but of greens the snap pea and fig salad was fantastic and very filling. It is a definite if you love food and are willing to try some new things. Go with a small group so you can try as much as possible. We will definitely be back.
Meeting up w dear friend.
good food and location but the hot section/entrees were overpriced for the quality. The waiter failed to mention that skate was a rather exception when asked if the fish were filleted. The clam strips were amazing though as was the octopus carpaccio. I would return but wouldn’t likely purchase the hot food (although the trout looked very good).
Wonderful server and great food. A bit too noisy
Delicious food unobtrusively served.
Everything was over burnt...had high expectation of this place, yet the hot plates were all over burnt. Good cold plates only
Inventive, earnest, casual seating (on stools) , great service, would def go back!
Wonderfully creative and delicious neighborhood seafood place
Excellent service and food!
One of our top two places in the neighborhood. Every dish is to die for and the cocktails are delicious. Keep it up!
The food is OUTSTANDING. Have been twice and REALLY enjoyed.
I wish I was informed by the waiter that certain dishes are trash and not worthy of spending any money on. Instead the waiter formally asks if we had any questions and when we order these god knows what, stays indifferent, we’ll thats how you don’t get tips.
Canned tuna with burned macaroni that were forgotten about in an oven to the point that I continued to have that burned odor on my way back in the car. $19 for that dish, ruined all impression of the cold ones that came before and the mood. English pees with squid, what happened to squid . It looks like it get lost in the pees. Come on, if it just pees, charge for pees.
Every dish we ordered was on point and absolutely delicious! For us, the standout dishes were the surollitos, octopus carpaccio, and fluke ceviche. The food had layers upon layers of flavor without leaving us too full or heavy.
Excellent food and lovely staff!
Very interesting menu, a little hit or miss but overall a very satisfying experience. Worthwhile for the hamachi Kama alone.
The food was fantastic, servers were very friendly, and the “vibe” of Saint Julivert was hip and happening, while also maintaining class and elegance.
Amazing food, really nice setting. a bit loud. Wine selection is disappointing (when comparing with the quality of the food) and it is a bit expensive.
Can’t miss. Amazing authentic seafood on the cutest street in nyc. Excellent staff and overall perfect date night experience.
Food was good but I don’t like the feeling of leaving a fairly pricey dinner feeling hungry.
Exceptionally fresh and delicious seafood, really stellar.
And key lime pie in a glass!! 😀
Excellent food, service and decor. The crab avocado teaspoon salad was my fave.
Lovely little place. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Most of the dishes I had were great, but the fish I ordered was over salted.
Love this place. Keep coming back!
Friendly staff, if a little uneven, in timing.
Decor is more tapas bar than sit down restaurant - hightop and bar seating.
Food is mostly very good - many great dishes, few misses.
Elegant, modern cuisine in a sleek space humming with activity and conversation. Revel in your menu choices and then rue your selections as you gaze covetously at your neighbors plate. Wine list is superb, desserts are sublime. Price point is apt for the attentive/invisible service and outstanding overall experience. Kudos!
