Absolute perfection. Loved that pickled shrimp and sweet onion. Grateful for welcoming vibes and a little happy hour wine;). We had the tasting menu but I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. What a treat x
Had wanted to dine at Saint Julivert for awhile, because I had heard great things, but the place was always crowded when I wanted to go. I finally went last Friday for an early dinner and the experience was phenomenal. The dishes were diverse and all had a unique taste. I highly recommend the Hush Puppies and Risotto. Their drink menu is solid too!
Excellent small plates. Each with exceptional flavor
Very sweet. Intimate. Lovely. Tasty.
Food is innovative, using outstanding fresh ingredients. Service is friendly. Setting is pretty and this restaurant is quiet. Among the best in Brooklyn, which is saying a lot.
Just keeps getting better and better...
Great food and great service from Vera Alba and Anna
The restaurant week price fix menu was absolutely delicious!
The food is not only outstanding, it's also unusual … and if they got rid of one table, they would have a bit more room, particularly during busy times. Otherwise, the place is incredible & next time we'll go back during the week.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at St. Julivert tonight. We’ve been a few times before but this was definitely the best - and that’s saying something! The dishes were all fantastic especially the scallops tacos, octopus and swordfish belly. We went with friends (4 all together) and shared about 10 dishes, 6 smaller and 4 “hot” and it was just right.
This was our second visit here. Food was fantastic, same as before. It was MUCH more enjoyable this time because it was a slow week night rather than a weekend. I even suspect they moved one table out of the dining room that they put back in for weekends. The last time was cacaphonous and so crowded I could barely get into the chair. This time was much more pleasant, basically because it wasn't jammed late on a week night. Still, food and service has been outstanding both times.
Excellent restaurant. The staff was incredibly knowledgable, and super friendly, and the food was truly excellent - simple, but exquisite preparations, with unique twists.
The food was absolutely amazing!!!
Always first rate
Seating is definitely cramped, as you’d expect from a tiny neighborhood place like this. It did not detract from the overall excellence of our dinner, but should be considered when choosing to dine here.
Good overall, but didn't like the spicy tuna casserole
Almost everyone eats at the bar. If you care make sure you request seating with a still with a back. Good and drinks are delicious. But they do not serve coffee or tea for after dinner.
Fantastic meal. Great wait staff, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. A lot of bread but all the tastes were delicious. Will be back for sure.
The food and cocktails were incredible. Perfect spot for an intimate dinner. Service was top notch and the food recommendations were amazing. Highly recommend the anchovies with vanilla butter!
Very pleasant. Not quite as spectacular as last time.
Fantastic food and wine. Definitely want to go back.
The food was delicious and the service very attentive and informative. We particularly adored the ceviche and the anchovies. It definitely is quite expensive but for a special occasion or if you feel like giving yourself a treat it was wonderful
Great food, excellent cocktails, and wonderful service. What a great night!
Can’t wait to go back
For a small restaurant where everyone is in eye/ear shot the service is unresponsive. And the cheap stools they have everyone sit on are uncomfortable and reminiscent of a coffee shop not a restaurant.
Fantastic amazing dishes and top notch service all around!
A great neighborhood joint with excellent food and good vibes.
Fantastic food. Super, super squished tables hard to climb in to. Had a great time. Excellent service.
Absolutely perfect in every way. Service, style, wine list and meal were all first rate. They live up to every stellar review
delicious food, great place for a small group! friendly and attentive service, cool vibe.
Always the best
I am still dreaming about the swordfish belly. What a brilliant dish.
Our waiter was helpful and a delight. Gave good intel on cocktails as well as food.
Can’t wait to come back.
Great service and almost every dish was outstanding. It is a sharing menu with decent portions of most selections. Great selection of coastal wines arranged by location including a very reasonably priced Sauvignon Blanc from NZ. My only criticism about the menu is that there were practically no “sides” or vegetables. The two non-fish proteins were beef and pigs ear terrine — we got the pigs ear which was disappointing in texture (crunchy) and flavor (needed salt). The oysters in the terrine were the saving grace. All the tables are high tops or bar, so if you’re not comfortable sitting up high — or sharing plates — maybe have a quick bite at the bar with one of the delicious craft cocktails. Risotto with eel and conch and the whole trout were the stand outs for me. Oh...and the pickled shrimp with onions....now I need to go back!!!
Food is delicious!
This was my second visit and couldn’t wait to go back.
Great spot, lovely ambience, special without being overdone. Cocktails on point. Food delicious.
Would only recommend for the cute atmosphere. Too expensive for the quantity & quality that we got. For example, the octopus carpaccio was way too thinly sliced for the price, and the swordfish entree was too fishy that I only could take one bite.
Greatest cocktail ever. Only downside: The tuna dish was misnamed. It was really a pasta dish with flecks of tuna. Truly disappointing because I didn’t think I was ordering pasta.
Took my friend for his bday, first time - the food was amazing, so were the drinks, and service. We will be back! Thank you!!
We came here for a birthday celebration. We ordered several items from the menu and the fluke ceviche and the Montauk squid were our favorites. Loved this adorable place nestled in the cobble hill neighborhood.
Birthday dinner for my husband and we had a friend join us last minute. They were able to accommodate seating an extra person and the food was delicious and creative. We all loved it!
