Opening Saint James had to do with us wanting to be a part of what was happening in our great city of Hamilton that we love. Most importantly we wanted to give you all what you deserve…great food, great coffee and a great atmosphere with staff that have a sense of urgency and quality. It's happening in a lot of great businesses in our city and it has people stopping, taking a look, and starting to talk. We have spent years honing our craft in our respective areas of service, and all that while we knew we’d get the chance to do what we love.

We decided to try Saint James for dinner as we really enjoy brunch there. So glad we did....the food was amazing! The service was excellent and my daiquiri was probably the best I have had! It was a great way to end the week!

They are still transitioning to being a dinner venue and as a result we would rate them as good. I had the Trout with risotto and found that the risotto was over salted.

Cozy, laidback setting with food way more refined than one would expect at a casual cafe. Beer list is local and fantastic. Coffee and dessert a must!

Local love for food and drink! The food was amazing, and the waitress was incredibly personable and helpful. We were in a rush to get to a show, and Rae pulled out all the stops to get us out in time. She was also very knowledgeable in the drink selection, finding something to suit everyone’s taste.

My only negative would for there to be more gluten free options. There was only 1 option for myself for entree. Other than that, we might try it again. Service personnel were excellent.

My wife and I have been for coffee and brunch, the coffee is exceptional, the brunch is amazing. We decided to go for a last minute dinner this time and the food was great along with the service. I’ll definitely be going back.
