   Spectacular service!!! Their Kale/Cucumber & Blueberry Lemonades are fabulous! Chinese chicken salad & wedge salads are great. My lobster roll not that great. Flavor ok but Lobster was tough/overcooked & a few shell pieces in it. Even though I finished it, they deducted it from my bill $37 & were very apologetic about it. Have been there before and so far so good. Going back tomorrow with a few people to try out their brunch menu.

   We liked the place and were happy to recommend it to family and friends. Please review the bill carefully. Twice in a row, we were significantly double-charged

   I am wondering why guests are not asked where they would like to sit. The service was polite, sometimes we had to wait for quite a bit to get attention. Otherwise the food was really good and we enjoyed our time. An Easter special on the menu would be a great idea, but we were very happy with quality, quantity and prizing overall. Thank you.

   Beautiful new restaurant at The Village in Woodland Hills. My family and I had brunch at S&S and found the menu to be really interesting and varied. The food was fantastic, along with the beautiful ambience.  pricing was very reasonable for a party of five. Finally, we have an upscale restaurant that I’ll return to over and over again. Thanks for such beautiful food and service.

   While Saint & Second has a very inviting and aesthetically pleasing decor, the atmosphere and ambiance is super mid. The music reminds me of the band on the Titanic, when they realized the ship was about to sink. The restaurant lacks energy and vibrations. Now to the food! The food is not bad at all, it’s just not great either. The appetizer offerings are not the best. The crab cakes were tasty but miniature. We had the steak & frites. The steak was flavorless and lacked appeal. The frites need to be crispy and were soggy. The salad was pretty good. We also ordered the fish and chips, which was pretty decent. Again, the flavor was mid but it was edible. Fries once again were lackluster. We then ordered a banana cream pie for dessert. Pitiful, in my opinion. I wouldn’t order it again. It is not a true banana cream pie and just didn’t move the needle. Last and not least! It was my birthday and was noted on the reservation. The greeter acknowledged my birthday but the server made no mention of it all night. I don’t need a happy song and prefer to not have one, but damn no mention of it at all and we paid the price for a good meal and got an average meal and mediocre experience. Not a Happy Birthday writing on the plate or a “Hey, I heard it’s your birthday, Happy Birthday Man!!” No nothing. So with that in mind, I give this place a 2.5 out of 5.

   My birthday celebration with good friends was spectacular. The warm welcome at the host station was truly inspiring and set the mood for the evening . The restaurant was designed beautifully, the food was incredible and expertly prepared. Our server navigated us through the menu from cocktails to dessert and didn’t miss with the suggestions. The hummus plate, stone fruit and burrata salad, crab cakes, meatballs and branzino, all shareable, the 4 of us found it all to be delicious! We ended the evening with the brown butter cake with raspberries and a complimentary birthday dessert of whipped cream and chocolate mousse parfait with a candle on top. We will definitely be back to this very special place. ❤️

    Food and cocktails were delicious. I really only have 2 critiques. 1) the chocolate budino was too salty. A desert like that definitely needs salt, but it needed a deeper chocolate flavor, I bit more sugar and a touch less salt. 2) For the extensive nature of the wine list, there were very few options for “by the glass”. And the ones that were on the list seemed sporadically placed, instead of just at the top. I’m sure there was a reason for the placement, but to the average person who isn’t a sommelier, it was a bit confusing.
