Fantastic all the way around. My husband asked for a wine pairing with the pre fixe meal. Lauren and Velco were wonderful.
Outstanding service, wonderful food choices, great attention to detail.
Amazing place. Great atmosphere, all fresh ingredients.
I would come back once a week t have the chocolate truffle dessert.
Sails offers a great selection of fresh fish, expertly prepared and presented -- although the prices are a little on the high side. Service is prompt and attentive. The servers are polite and knowledgeable. The noise level is a little high, particularly when seated near the live music. It needs to be included on your list of places for a special occasion.
Certainly the finest dining in Naples. The go to place for special occasions or just to treat yourself!
We invited friends having told them about are wonderful experience previously with you. They where blown away it's so nice to enjoy good food with a sophisticated atmosphere.
Great service from Josh at the table as well as Alex & Luis at the bar! Food was outstanding!
Great food, service, and wine recommendation. Met a nice couple at the table next to us.
Service was phenomenal food was delicious and atmosphere, entertainment very enjoyable!
We went for my Birthday, I was treated like a queen! They made us feel so welcomed and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding as usual it’s my new favorite restaurant in Naples. Don’t miss out
Arrived for 8pm reservation. Table not ready. Eventually seated. Waited 25 mins before any service offered, waiter said he was behind. We complained to manager and service then improved. Food quality very good but portions very small for cost. Probably wouldn’t go back. Not good enough
We love everything about this amazing establishment. The owners have gone above and beyond to ensure that your dining experience here is top notch. From the beautiful cognac leather chairs, wonderful staff perfect lighting and elegant music to each course and delectable morsel of food... you leave wanting nothing. The hardest part of your evening is to pick which items to order. You truly can not go wrong with any of them. It’s so nice to have this option in Naples and not have to fly to NYC or Europe for this type of meal and service. Can not recommend enough.
food was excellent
A Table in Bar area is VERY noisy, but food excellent
The food and service were outstanding. I can't wait to go back.
Food was very good, but it did not have to be so pricey and pretentious.
Very good restaurant. Good food although the tagliatelle and the scallops were a bit too salty for my taste. Excellent service
We were there with our 16 months old. The servers were very attentive. It was pouring rain outside on our way out and they offered an umbrella to the car and someone came with us to retrieve it. Excellent experience. Would go again
My experience was good.
Ambiance & service was excellent. Food was great but must say I was disappointed about how management dealt with a complaint about the oysters. It was surprising that in a establishment such as Sails The oysters had an aftertaste & a fishy like odor which I brought to the attention of the sever. There was no apology for my perception & experience but rather was dismissive in nature. An acknowledgment would had been appreciated.
The food was delicious, but over-priced. Our server was patronizing, constantly trying to upsell us on our choices.
It’s a lovely restaurant, but they should re-evaluate pricing and do a better job training and observing their wait staff.
It was delicious and the service outstanding and I would absolutely return but I would be careful not to be up sold
without realizing prices. We were suggested the fish as an addition to our steak and said sure but found out when we got our bill it was something like $86 extra 😳. Also the waiter casually mentioned some chocolate dessert and we didn’t order it (just said it sounded good) but they brought it anyway and it was good but I believe over $20 😳.
I recommend going there but be cautious and guard your wallet...
My friend and I split every course and it still costs us over $400 😳
All around a wonderful experience
The absolute BEST restaurant in Naples! The meal itself was extraordinary! The attention to detail by the
entire staff was memorable. The setting simply exquisite!
We had a delicious dinner at Sails. The service was excellent. Their wine list is extensive, but also a bit over-priced in my opinion. The least satisfactory part of our dinner was the lay-out of the restaurant. The outside seating is lovely, but as the weather gets warmer, it will not be comfortable. The inside is small. The bar is large, but I personally do not like sitting in a bar area as it is too noisy. If you do not sit in the bar, the seating is limited. Your next choice is in the kitchen area. The kitchen is open so sitting in that area means lots of waiters coming back and forth and the noise of the strong fans. I wish there were a glass petition between the kitchen and the small dining area. This is a restaurant with really good food, but not much ambiance if you are in the main dining area and not outside.
Excellent food, great service, romantic music. We love to come back and try different fresh fish.
50th anniversary. Everything was excellent service, food etc.
Do NOT accept a table in front of the kitchen. We could not hear each other talk, there was a constant clamor of pots, pans, whirring, buzzing and noise.
The waitstaff and bussers continue to be top notch. So noisy we didn’t even know there was live music going on until we left. The 12 yr officious hostess with no personality grace or poise should be working at Coastland Mall not a high end 5th Avenue restaurant. This is my second negative encounter with the hostesses there. We will not be returning. Tons of great restaurants with welcoming staff in Naples.
Hope to see Simon and Brianna working at one of them soon.
This was a flawless experience from the warm welcome by Morgan at the door to the “doggy bag” handout as we left. Lauren was our server, very elegant and attentive, assisted by Esi (sp?) and others. It was my 70th birthday and we had a table of seven. Everyone raved about their meals. My friend Bobby and I went to check out the fresh fish, beautifully displayed on a huge bed of ice. Lauren was there to identify each species. Bobby fell in love with a gorgeous Wahoo who was giving him the fisheye. I ordered a lovely Pinot Noir, forget the name, but quite delicious after 5 minutes of breathing. For dessert, Sails comped us with two bowls of yogurt, honey and walnuts, plus chocolate cake and ice cream. All in all, a delicious meal and a beautiful setting impeccably served.
A quiet corner to enjoy the signature smoked octopi. Service was stellar, as usual. The horn player made for a sophisticated afternoon visit.
we think it is the best festaurant in Naples right now. The food is outstanding. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. It is the best place to have a wo derful dinner.
In a town full of great dining choices, Sails is, for us, a good but not great choice. The layout of the restaurant is awkward. (It was especially so when trying to use a restroom having to weave through the entertainment.)
The staff was accommodating in explaining menu options. We chose to order from the the less expensive choices as we were there as guests of another person. The tomato salad was very good with a pretty presentation and interesting flavors. My husband steak was correctly cooked and he rated the flavor as just “ok”. The catch of the day was Atlantic Cod which too was just “ok”. In fairness, we tried none of the items on the more expensive side of the menu. Perhaps this is where the chef expresses his creative side. If so, the creativity could be spread out a bit.
Entertainment nightly, Tuesday night is Opera night.
First Time there the drinks the appetizers and food and service was outstanding
The service and atmosphere were both very good but the food was terrible. Very overpriced, greasy and bland. The portions were tiny, which would be fine, if the food tasted good!
This was our third visit to Sails. We ate outside; the evening was beautiful. Our waiter was very attentive very knowledgeable and made perfect recommendations. It is suggested that you spend the extra money and choose the seafood from the array of options on ice near the kitchen. This is definitely a seafood restaurant and patron should lean towards that variety of food.
Sails is a cut above the other Naples Restaurants. And that’s saying a lot. We went there because of their sponsorship of the Pan Florida challenge. PFC feeds thousands of kids in Florida every weekend.
We enjoyed exceptional food and service. Being new full time residents we look forward to Monday’s.
It was fabulous as always
Pretty restaurant. Lovely food and atmosphere and charming staff who went out of their way to help me check in online for our next day’s flight.
Wonderful 56th anniversary celebration. Food, service and warm welcoming made the evening so special.
We had a wonderful meal and a great experience for our first visit to Sails. We had the Dover sole and it was excellent paired with the Risotto and mushroom sides. Our serve recommended perfect wine suggestions....oh and the chocolate souffle was to die for!
We will go back!
We went to Sails with a group of six. The staff was very good there. We did have an awfully long wait for our drinks, but everything else went very well. It is a very nice restaurant, and the ambience was good. The food was delicious. However, the prices are on the high side and that would be okay if the portions were more sizable. Everyone in our party got both appetizer and entrée, and ate a lot of bread. We still all went home hungry. Three of us at the table are not big eaters at all, and the portions were small even for us. I think they need to rethink that.
