We were disappointed with the lack of items on the menu (oysters and shrimp were out). The expensive large plates had less food than the small plates. Service seemed to be stretched thin. Drinks and bread were good. But for the lack of value, we won’t be returning

2 of the 5 items were very good. The balance of the meal was just ok. We shared the crab cake and didn’t finish it. Was very mushy, and had a fishy taste. Both of us found 4-5 shell pieces in it. Small menu, only 5 entrees.

The drinks and food was delicious, loved the decor and vibe in the place. Music could have been a bit louder to add bit of ambiance, and can tell team is still working on timing and service- and everyone was lovely in the service team. Love the new addition and plan to be back!

We had such a great dining experience at Sailfish! Chef Zach Lake has created an incredible menu and everything we ordered was fantastic. THE crab cake is not to be missed! It’s a crab feast that keeps going and going and going. I seriously considered licking the plate clean of the romesco sauce under our shrimp skewers and had a hard time sharing the veggie tempura with my husband. Their cocktail program is expansive and the ambience was cozy and perfect for date night. We will most definitely be back!

We had a WONDERFUL dinner last night! Our Server was amazing and the food was delicious. The poke was superb! Only negative is that the sides on the large plate dishes were either cold and/or raw or both. An easy fix to be 5 stars!!

Sailfish still seems to be finding its voice and POV. From what seemed like a disjointed cocktail menu (I was surprised it didn’t have more of a Caribbean bent), to the backed up bar / server who wasn’t aware of that, and a menu that was somewhat standard seafood options, to the small plates meal that was brought out all at once to our small table as opposed to having been coursed out the way I’ve seen at most other restaurants of this price point. It’s fine, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price compared to other restaurants nearby.

The food wasn't spectacular and prices too high. The halibut dish was $44 and at that price I expect something that I can't easily make at home; it had very little flavor and a poor use ingredients (large, bland eggplant slices). Crab cake $34 was mushy and mediocre. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not return. They need to up their food game.

We went on opening weekend not knowing what to expect. Sailfish welcomed us with a great table on time and provided us with a fine dining experience that rivals anything Ballard has to offer. It is our new favorite place. The offerings were wonderfully presented, clever and flavorful. We will check out their happy hour very soon. Cocktails were top notch too featuring local ingredients. The lighting and darker walls were a perfect touch.

Delicious food made with obvious care. The cocktails are remarkably well-balanced and smooth. For an opening night, things went extremely smoothly, and we got excellent service.
