SAII Asian Bistro and Sushi Bar
Our service was awful. It took 45 minutes to get a drink. And every time we needed something we had to track someone down.
Some of the best Sushi that I've had in OKC.
Celebrating a birthday. Seems as if we arrived when they 1st opened. They turned on the music and originally it was loud. They turned it down after a while. Place was quiet and serene. I was sure I prefer the same thing I typically do but it looked and tasted different. It was still very yummy but it was not what I expected.
Food was amazing!
Went to check this place out for a date. Definitely a hole in the wall place, a true hidden gem! Y’all gotta check this place out
Dinner was very fresh and delicious. A hidden treasure .
Love this place, best place for a date night, special occasion, or everyday. Wished they were open for lunch again.
The ambiance is so nice and relaxing, it really puts other sushi places and restaurants in general to shame! Please support this business!!!
Sushi was fantastic. And the atmosphere is so trendy. The server was quick & showed amazing hospitality. Will be back!!
I will come back over and over again.
Our favorite sushi place in the city! Great prices, awesome options! Casual but can be dressy if you want! Romantic for a date as well.
Food was great and service was even better.
We had a wonderful time at SAII! The quiet atmosphere was perfect our dinner date. We received outstanding customer service. The food was superb and delicious. We will definitely return!
Server was rude, restaurant was loud and had very bad service.
My roll was chewy and not supposed to be... I never got a chance to tell the server bc she disappeared or over 15 mins and the others were done eating by then. We each had two rolls and two glasses of lower priced wine and our tab was $168
dependable terrific sushi and sashimi. 7:15 on a hot Friday night it was not too cool in the restaurant. But, overall, considering how we dine out in corona times it was great.
Great Mother’s Day lunch.
Food was phenomenal, service was poor, but maybe expected due to the holiday. Definitely a pleasing take out restaurant!
Been to Saii many times and it is one of our favorite places but sadly this was the worst service I have ever had. I understand it was Valentine’s Day but it took an hour and 45 mins to get our appetizer. And it was wrong, not what we ordered. My wife’s food came out 2 hrs after we ordered and my sushi didn’t come out for another 15 mins after hers, and they forgot one of my sushi rolls. Waitress didn’t seem to care much so it’s doubtful we will ever go back. Sad because the food is excellent.
First time at SAII but I was disappointed with the cuts of fish on the Nigiri and the Sushi rolls for the price charged.
Terrible. We won’t be back. They ran out of stone pots so our food came cold. We had to send it back to warm up. They didn’t even offer any compensation for the cold food. The floor is so warped and dangerously walk on. Someone will fall and break bones!!!
It was really cute and the food was delicious - especially the steamed dumplings and the pad Thai.
Great dinning experience.
Food never disappoints but the service was so slow. It’s like they only had one waitress for the entire restaurant!
The food is good but the restaurant is in dire need of a remodel. Chairs are ratty, tables need refinishing, walls need a fresh coat of paint and floors are in terrible shape. It’s a shame that the decor doesn’t match the quality of the food. I’ll go back with friends but not to impress clients or guests that appreciate an updated fresh decor. *Food was great*
Lobster Volcano taste amazing. Raging Cajun is a good spicy roll. Saii is my favorite sushi place.
Don’t be fooled by the strip mall exterior, this place is AMAZING!!!! top notch food and service at a good price! perfect date night place!
Great food, and reasonably priced. It has really become a neighborhood gem. Also, the drinks are well made and the bartenders are fair on the serving and alcohol (unlike other restaurants my wife and I now skip due to that fact alone).
The food is what I recommend because it was delicious. The service was slow which I’m guessing was because the kitchen was taking a long time. I usually am understanding in this area if they were busy but they were not. It was also stifling in there and we all were sweating. Even with all of these issues I would still go back because the food is outstanding.
So delicious! Gets better every time we go! Number one sushi spot in OKC!
Great food nice place friendly people fresh as well over all a good expensive
I’ve always loved this place for the food but the service the last two times has not been good.
Great service, food was good. Extensive sushi menu. Well go back.
This restaurant is not as advertised its more of a Chinese restaurant and sushi is a second thought.
Although I asked twice they never checked me in and I did not receive my Open Table points.
The food is always great but the overall service lacks in attention to detail. Everyone is kind and happy yet lacks food service training
Food was fantastic. I love the ambiance here, perfect for a date night. Sushi is always good, the pho now on the menu was great!
One thing, the iced green tea is not good. They used too have an amazing iced tea.
The malbec we had was so nice and affordable!
This restaurant is tucked into a strip center in North OKC. The decor is beautiful and the seating areas very comfortable. We made reservations through Opentable for 7:45pm. We were there at 7:43pm via Lyft.
After we were seated it took a long to fit a server to come. We placed our orders. I ordered Pho with extra meat and the rest of our party ordered sushi and a chicken dish.
It took 45 minutes to get our food. When it finally came my Pho soup was cold and didn't have the extra meat. The broth was good (and cold) but definitely not extra meat. I eat Pho in Dallas all the time so I know when it's good and when it's not. This one fell in the middle for flavor but lost on lack of meat and being cold. They offered to heat it up but we had to leave to make another event. So I declined.
They offered a free dessert. Once they realized we were unhappy they responded quickly and brought a Tira Misu complimentary and discounted my Pho by 50%.
Sometimes success can be a liability because they were so busy.
If, at the beginning of the meal, they had cared just 1/10th of they way they did after an hour they could have gotten 5 Stars.
My wife posted a review on Yelp and they proceeded to attack her and denigrate her calling her "mean". Seriously? We're the customers. The people that pay them to stay in business...and you attack us?
It's not about a difference in cultures it's about putting the customer first. We didn't pay attention to their ethnicity we responded to the content of their character and service.
In the end everyone asks two important questions, "Do I matter?" and "Do You Care?". That might we got lost in the crowd and when we complained it's like we offended them. So, we felt that their answer to those two questions were "not really".
Add insult to injury, they disrespected my wife's opinion.
Don't go when they are busy.
I wish them luck and hope that they are able to continue in prosperity.
Made the reservation through open table. Felt like we got the best seats and we were in our own little area. Food was good and the service was excellent.
Good food and atmosphere
