Overbooked their reservations. Walked in on time with 6 other groups waiting. Nice complimentary appetizer on Sundays. Food was delicious. We haven’t been back to Saii in a few years due to numerous issues in the past, however we were in the mood for sushi and knew we’d be close so we decided to try again. Much to our surprise the food was great! I was a little concerned that for a place that used to be packed on the weekend this Saturday night at 7:00 there were only 3 or 4 tables with people and only 3 waiters. Our service was ok given the circumstances, however I wish it was better since it was slow, but the food made up for it. Their wild coconut roll is my favorite and Saii is the only place I know that has it. We will be going back in the future. I just hope it lives up to the standard going forward! - OT

This was a very quaint and intimate spot . Definitely a hidden gem outside of bricktown, but the food was great. Nice portion sizes and very friendly staff, knowledgeable of the food and drinks . My date and I ordered the “ land and sea hibachi “ with fresh sake. I thought it would be overly crowded for a Friday night but the reservations were helpful and we were able to experience the Japanese seating style arrangement . We know every business is going through challenges right now, especially many restaurants. We are not complaining. We ordered a sushi combo plate with rolls, nigiri and sashimi. The chef accommodated us with a changed we requested, which is awesome. The rolls and nigiri were great and so was the sashimi, except for the tuna, which was a little tough and had little taste. The seaweed salad had a dressing that was much too sweet. It's not your east or west coast sushi place. Our suspicion is that the rice and noodle dishes are the way to go. - TS

Our dinner was to celebrate two special events; the first was Valentine’s Day and the second was getting good medical news from my cancer doctor. Last time we had eaten at your restaurant was back in 2013 and I remember everything being good. Since that time it appears that things have really gone in the wrong direction. The food was almost flavorless and overall the meal was overpriced. The restaurant was nearly empty yet we still had to wait a long time for service. Unfortunately we will not be coming back. We will try other places or go back to Sushi Neko which is by far the best Japanese restaurant in the metro. - OT

We stopped in just for sushi and I was so surprised at their huge menu. The drinks were amazing and the sushi was super fresh! I can’t wait to go back and try more entrees. - s

They have had a flood. The first thing we noticed when we walked in is the buckled wood flooring. The restaurant seemed dirty. The bathroom was filthy. I cant believe the health department hasn't shut them down. We use to come all the time but it has really gone downhill - P

We love Saii Bistro. It’s our go-to for date nights. We never have trouble getting a reservation and we always get seated promptly. We ordered the fried gyoza and egg rolls for appetizers. Food came out promptly and was hot and fresh. My husband liked the egg roll dipping sauce so well that he kept it to put on his entree. We both got stone pots for our entrees. My husband got the five spice tuna stone pot and I got the bulgogi beef. They were both delicious. We will be back again and again. - TS
