Everything was perfect.
Excellent service, very friendly and attentive owner, food is of high quality, the price is on the high side.
Get the green curry! So tasty! Spicy though so watch out!
The service was great! Very accommodating
Blown away by the dishes. Everything was plated with finesse, the flavors were layered and complicated. Our server offered insightful recommendations. The menu is diverse, offering options for a range of diets and interests. You could opt for a elevated entree or stick with Pad Thai.
Best bowl of ramen around !
I love this restaurant. Everyone there is so friendly and fun to be around
Our server Dan, whom also is part owner of this little gem was Exceptional!
Went above and beyond to make our experience memorable!
I will deff be coming back &&’ recommending to others.
Great food and great service. Would go back many times over.
There’s a reason why I come here again and again and again. It’s perfect
We had a very nice lunch. The staff was very attentive.
Great food and service. I will be back. The pho and the spicy rice noodle soups are scrumptious. Some really inventive couplings in their ban mi and bao sandwiches. Highly recommended
Thank you for the five-star review and coming in. Hope to see you back soon!
This is my favorite restaurant in Chicago! Daniel and his family treat you like royalty from the moment you step into the restaurant to the moment you leave! Steak, fish, octopus, and chicken wings are some of my favorites but everything I had was incredible! Would recommend to anyone for any occasion, Daniel and his staff will take care of you!
Amazing experience. The staff and the owner made a point of making sure you had the best experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Would recommend the octopus dish 200%. I will definitely make this place a regular food spot
I’m Vietnamese. My friend is Vietnamese and we had a friend who had never had Vietnamese food aside from pho. The meal was fantastic - I’m still partial to my mom’s cooking but Saigon Sisters is a great alternative.
We enjoyed everything about Saigon Sisters. The service was attentive and the food was easily the best Vietnamese we've ever eaten. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back!
What a wonderful dining experience! Our visit to Saigon Sisters was the highlight of our trip to Chicago, and we definitely plan on returning the next time that we are in town. We had the branzino, which was ridiculously fun and delicious--you eat the bones, and they are crunchy and super yummy! Also had some fabulous appetizers, and the service was unbelievable. This felt like a special night, and I can't remember a time when I was treated so well. Please, eat here--you won't regret it!
Saigon Sisters was a wonderful dining experience. One of the owners served us and was incredibly pleasant and made terrific suggestions. Every dish we had was delicious!
The owner was wonderful and gave us the best recommendations. Every dish we had was delicious.
The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The menu including the beverages were put together very well. The food was delicious and true to tradition.
Great flavors and presentation at this little Vietnamese and Thai cafe. Service was outstanding too as one of the owners guided us through our meal. Will certainly return soon.
There is lots to try - the fried chicken spring rolls and ramen stand out. Vietnamese doughnut was great too.
Chicago opening night we spent at Saigon Sisters. 3 plus months with no restaurant dining. We couldn't have been happier. The owner and staff were so appreciative of us being there. Food, cocktails were great.
Despite mixed reviews, we gave Saigon Sisters a try and were really impressed. We had the whole pork/crab rolls, bronzino, and stir-fried veggies, which were all very good.
Service was excellent and friendly at Saigon Sisters on 2/29/20 for dinner. We ordered the fresh spring rolls which were okay. The accompanying peanut sauce was not good. Too diluted and a little runny. I would not order this again if I return.
The Chicken Pho Soup was wonderful, flavorful and soothing! The Branzino was outstanding. The best branzino we've ever eaten. The sauce mixed with a broth was just fantastic. We will absolutely return for both items and would like to try more things on the menu!!!
The staff here were wonderful and welcoming. One of the owners came and talked to us a number of times....even served us dessert!!! Our waiter, Christopher was so friendly and entertained me while I was waiting for my friends. The food was WONDERFUL....we will be back.
On short notice our friend agreed to come to dinner, so we used Open Table to secure a spot at Saigon Sisters. Great food and service, as always. We had a great conversation and dinner. Back home in 3 hours.
Great Vietnamese food. Dan the owner came to our table to answer questions and talk. Great cocktails and food. Waitstaff was superb. Prices were fair. Can’t wait to go back!!
Really good and innovative food in a casual and friendly environment
Food was great, the waiter gave great recommendations when we asked.
This is our go-to restaurant. We live in the neighborhood, and all of Fulton/Randolph are at our call, but Saigon Sisters gets our vote: Best restaurant at any price in the city.
Gary & Mary
The food was absolutely wonderful. Every thing Pho Poached Dumplings Soup, Fried dumplings, Sriracha Wings, Cá Kho, Bo Luc Lac, and Vegetarian Curry Noodles was delicious and flavorful. I can't wait to go again. The service was excellent as well. I can't wait to go back.
My partner had enjoyed the food on a previous visit and we decided to come back for Restaurant Week. We were disappointed with the food and the service, however it was the food that has deterred future visits. Their Restaurant Week prix fixe menu offers an appetizer, entree and dessert for $36 with an optional coursed wine pairing for $22. We chose to do both and ended up with a $130 bill that was not at all worth it. The fried dumplings with jackfruit were tasty, but there were only 4 of them. I don't know if they adjusted the portions for Restaurant Week or if that's standard, but it was a small app. The veggie spring roll appetizer I'd advise against, it's boring and generic, as is the sweet chili sauce that comes with it. For dinner we had a braised catfish dish along with a prawn curry, both were good, however he catfish was very salty and tasted like a heavy hand of soy sauce. For dessert we chose the fried bao and the bread pudding, both served with a coffee caramel. The fried bao was not on their original Restaurant Week menu, it replaced a rice pudding dish and, in hindsight, I would have preferred the rice pudding and the flan that was also available. The fried bao dish was clearly a way to avoid waste. It was a poorly conceptualized dessert. They were "tossed" in cinnamon sugar which barely coated them and definitely didn't add flavor. The bread pudding was cut into pieces and was also fried.... Bread pudding should not be fried. In addition to the coffee caramel, it came with a side of cinnamon whipped cream that was terrible. There was so much cinnamon in it that you could feel the granules and taste the rawness of the spice. We left over half of the desserts on their plates and our server didn't ask if anything was wrong, which was a bummer. I mean, he was barely present throughout our meal (or the meal of the couple next to us) so we were not shocked by his lack of attention to detail. Perhaps the most frustrating part is had we ordered all of these t
We went to Saigon Sisters to try their restaurant week menu on a whim and we were glad that we went. This a small, intimate restaurant that seats 40 people at the most. Each dish that we had was great and the wine pairings offered were top notch and complimented each dish wonderfully. One of the owners, Dan, selected each wine pairing and for the price we paid, they were bargains. If you are expecting the typical Vietnamese cuisine you get at a restaurant on Argyle street, you will be pleasantly surprised. This is a step above most of the food that we usually have. The lady sitting at the table next to me had a bowl of Pho and it looked tempting. That is one dish that I will have to try on our next visit.
Great place, family that cooks together and shares the experience with the customers!
I don't know who are the people who give this place 4,7 stars?
Went last night exited about food ,Big Disappointment. Please, save your money, go somewhere else. Quality of food was really poor, no flavor with poor presentation as well.
I don't write reviews ,ever, this is my first just to let you know don't go there.
HI Nick we take review seriously so we can improve on anything that our customers suggest for improvements. is there a specific item that you ordered and did not like? We have over 30 menu items and pride on our high reviews and when 1 person out of 10 years in business give us a 1 star, it's concerning to us.
The food and service feel make you feel like home and is what makes this a must-visit place. Don't think about it, just go!
Thank you so much for coming in and we are glad you had a wonderful meal and experience. We will see you soon!
Great experience! The food is always outstanding.
Small space with good food and great service. About $40 pp for dinner and 1 drink each.
Everything we ate was delicious!! Bao buns, spring rolls, fried rice, Curry..... Couldn't stop eating!! The tea was great too. They didn't miss a beat here. Will definitely be going back.
Excellent food and service, and I really appreciate that Saigon Sisters participates in the Chicago Passport program!
