It’s a treat, it’s pure euphoria. The Sagra restaurant on the 4th floor of the Hotel offers the most spectacular view of the park and the lagoon of Venice. At the centre of the gastronomic experience lie the riches of Italian cuisine, with an emphasis on the flavours of the Veneto, but without forgetting the unique delights of the other regions or gluten free, vegetarian and vegan proposals.

In a décor of shades of blue inspired by the sky and the sea, the restaurant, with a show kitchen and marvellous terrace looking onto Venice and the Lagoon, is the perfect setting for a light lunch or a romantic dinner.

    The food is bad. The construction of the tent doesn’t provide shade - at some point all of us have been seating under direct sun light. Not comfortable. Unpleasant experience. The manager is great - she is resolving issues and manages the service. Yet i come to dine, not just to see manager’s professionalism.

    The overall experience was nice, wait staff was attentive, however, it was off putting to be told as I was being seated by the hostess, that due to high demand they would need me to vacate the table in 90mins. I was quite disappointed and would never accept a reservation under these conditions nor do I expect as much when I’ve planned in advance to make a reservation. As a result it felt as though my courses were rushed out to me which dampened my mood and I felt rushed which was disappointing.

    Sagra Rooftop bar has a stunning view and outstanding food. The prices are not cheap, but fair for what they offer. The service could be improved, as we noticed that waiters are focused on hotel guests rather than outside customers like ourselves, but it didn't really affect our overall experience.

    Sadly, Sages is not what it once was. 4 of us ate there last night. We used to go regularly, then last year only once due to the quality. We don't need to try again. The seafood bisque is as delicious as always but was barely warm. The seafood paella had very good seafood on top, but the rice below was dried out and way over done. The steak was mediocre, requested medium and this was done correctly but with no seasonings or sauce, just cheese sprinkled on top, it wasn't worth ordering. The server never came to check on our food or even refill our water glasses. When spending over $200 for two, we expect better.
