Welcome to Sago at Sea Palms, our on-site full-service restaurant and bar. Named after the native species of palms (Sago), we are open daily for lunch, dinner, and cocktails to resort guests, members, and the local community.

Sago is a home-away-from-home that welcomes all and offers seasonal menus by Executive Chef Deke Reichardt that provide a fresh take on local flavors, outdoor dining, and contemporary cocktails.

Eight of my friends gathered for lunch at Sago and we enjoyed the experience. We ordered sandwiches and salads which were delicious, presented well with generous portions but that did not give us the opportunity to see what the chef can do for dinner so we shall have to return for dinner.

Had 7 for dinner. Chicken special was very good per my husband. I still love my salmon. Rashada is always great as our server. Prefer to sit outside instead of inside. Need a bigger overhang outside to keep sun out of eyes at sunset, Screening outside to keep out bugs would be great too.

Our server was very sweet but the food took a long time to come out. Two people in our party ordered steaks and they both were bad. One ribeye that was extremely thin and bland and one new york strip that was tuff and had no flavor.

We were so pleased with our dinner at Sago! The shrimp which several of us had was some of the best we've ever had. And the salmon over rice was scrumptious! We plan to make Sago our return-to-place when we want a really great dinner!

The outside seating was beautiful and live music was wonderful! But the service was absolutely terrible. It took over an hour and a half to get our food. The server would also take our drink order and wouldn’t return to the table until 30 minutes later.

The red fish /pan-fried was delicious;we enjoy the Saturday Night couples’ night: a great price! Good vegetables last night! Just the right amount of action going on! Thanks!

Food is always good, service was a little slow on a busy evening. Special was prime rib and it was very nicely presented, but I shouldn't have to ask for an accompaniment like horseradish or au jus. Because the service was slow I had to flag the server done to ask for it and she seemed clueless that such a thing was typically served with prime rib. Since she had no trouble retrieving it from the kitchen I'll assume that someone just forgot to plate that with the entree. But food is always good!

We had 8 for dinner. Lots of people inside and very noisy. Wish we had picked outside although sun would be in our eyes on one side of the table, Hope they take suggestion to extend the overhang on the side near the pool. Rashada did a good job despite being a busy night. Loved my salmon because they finally went easy on the salt.
