Steak was dry and tough and the clam pasta was watery and bland. The service is great and friendly but the food is not something we would go back for. Perhaps it was just a bad night

The service on Thursday night was slow. Drinks came out after the food came out, and we had to remind them about our drinks. There was a bar full of empty glasses. There was tables full of glasses (probably because the bar was full). Seemed to be an understaffing issue but nothing was mentioned. Food tasted great though.

We were there for my birthday. Id made the booking. Before we arrived, my partner called to ask some questions and ask some requests. Everything was made available. The waiter on the night was very attentive throughout and helped make the evening one of the best dining experiences of my life. The food was exceptional also. We will be returning to Sage Yellowfin regularly.

Lunched here on a cold windy day. Food was delicious- tasty and presented well, and reasonably priced. Wine selection moderate but very reasonably priced. Service professional and friendly, and not obtrusive. We sat outside, with patio heaters on. Inside a bit noisy. Would definitely recommend this place.

Sage Yellowfin is presented as a medium high end restaurant "Award-Winning Family Restaurant serving the freshest seafood", and I was excited to try their seafood pasta. We made a last minute reservation which was excellently picked up, but the service went downhill from there. We were asked three separate times if we wanted table water (twice by the same person) which we confirmed all three times. We then ordered the Gamberoni, the Surf & Turf and Potato Gnocchi. The Gamberoni pasta was with frozen shrimp not fresh, and the pasta was nothing special. 38$ seemed well overpriced. The Surf & Turf order was written down wrongly by our waiter and was a Porterhouse Steak instead. When we remarked on that, the waiter apologized for getting the order wrong, but didn't make any attempt to correct it. The steak was just plain steak with a boiled potato, for 38$. Very disappointing experience. At least the gnocchi my friend had looked good.

We all ordered the same mains - the crispy-skinned barramundi was outstanding. Drinks were good too - generous wine pours! Couldn’t fault the service. However, the place looks quite tired and could probably do with a decent reno.

This is a lovely place, although where it is situated, the area can get busy with lots of noise on a Friday night, but eating inside may rectify this The food choices catered for all, inc GF for my husband I enjoyed the chef's ideas to add a different flavour/food to a traditional dish. eg fried enoki mushrooms with paella -yum Lots of pasta and rice dishes and more The staff were very accommodating as I arrived late for our booked time Great night indeed
