The entire experience was horrible from beginning to end. I received a wineglass that already had lip prints on them. The bread had fruit flies flying out of it, my steak was not cooked correctly, dripping with blood and I asked for well done. The risotto was watery, I ended up sending my whole plate back and not eating. I will never return because management was no where to be found.
Easy to access off of busy street. With valet parking.
Nice atmosphere. Nice quiet lunch. Very attentive server.
It was like an upgraded Applebee’s to me. Service was polite but unprofessional/low quality. Unenthusiastic and not very knowledgeable. The food was heavy quantity and just ok in taste. It was very empty and had live music so was kind of awkward.
Great hangout restaurant for food and drinks.
The experience at Sage was absolutely terrible. I had a 10:15 reservation on a Saturday evening, arrived at 10:00 and didn’t get seated until 10:40. Watched 2 booths sit open from 10:25 until I finally decided to raise hell with the manager “Sid.” The Manager was so nonchalant and only offered excuses about the kitchen, didn’t care to hear about my grievances.
While waiting at the bar, service was pathetic, sat for 10 minutes at a slow paced bar before anyone asked what we like to drink. Ultimately received a round from the bartender before eventually realizing that she’d abruptly clocked out and left for the night. Nothing said to us about changing shifts or anything. This place is a joke.
I would not recommend this dump to anyone. Loud and ghetto. I’ve successfully used Open Table for many years now, this is the first time that I’ve been disappointed by your “4-star” rating. This place is honestly sad. I don’t typically voice a complaint, I never voice a complaint before ordering my food; this was an exception and I was too tired to leave at that moment. Terrible experience.
Lives up to reviews as being chic w great food!
Server was slow took an hr to get bread. Drinks were good salmon was awesome the shrimp and grits were not the best. Shrimp was good grits were dry and hard but will try the restaurant out one more time
Awesome bday dinner!!!
Group of 4 for a birthday. It was fine , enjoyed SAGE
Beautiful decor. That's where it stops. Food was not good. Probably from frozen. It's to bad because the decor is awesome. I will not return and I do not recommend to anyone. Sorry.
Food was marginal and pricey. Their ad states live music thursday through friday from7-10pm. We got there at 7:50 and the band was on break. We left at 9:25 and one guy was headed to the stage. Disappointing all the way around.
I love everything about this place!!!!
The atmosphere and food was amazing! I celebrated my birthday with family and friends. It was a great visit. If I'm ever in town again, this will be om to do list.
Celebrated my BD with friends and enjoyed my night. Great place to dine and love the location. Everyone’s food was good. Servers were accommodating and friendly.
I didn't do enough research when I booked but don't go to Sage on a Thursday night for a business dinner. Thursday night is lady's night and that equals loud music, dancing, and karaoke. If you are wanting a fun night out then this could be the spot. The food was just okay but you can't beat the location if you are staying in Buckhead.
Thank you for making our anniversary special. The decor in your restaurant is very appealing. The food was great! We will definitely be back and recommend your restaurant.
Food was great. Waiter not so great. He was very slow and checked on us minimally. We spent more time than needed waiting on each course.
The service was very slow and inattentive. My dinner, the pasta, was cold and tasted like the ingredients were old. The drinks seemed like they were very weak. The place was very noisy even though the restaurant was not nearly full. The recorded music was so loud we could not hear the other people at our table when they spoke. The temperature in the restaurant was very cold and uncomfortable, and the management would make no accommodation to please us.
This was our second visit to the restaurant, and we had the same complaints the first time we were there weeks previously.
Could not be any happier with the food, service and ambience.
my fav restaurant !!!
Food: AMAZING. I was impressed. It was perfectly seasoned, the perfect temperature and just overall scrumptious. So we had the surf n turf, bang bang shrimp appetizers (yes they compete with bonefish grill and I actually like these better, but my daughters vote is for bone fish), fried calamari, chicken and waffles. Everything was really good. The bang bang shrimp was just right, not too much sauce. The steak was made to order, spinach on point, and lobster. Yum!
Service: attentive! Our server was from ATL, but lived in Philly for a brief time so we could relate to all the normal Philly loves and likes. She really made sure we had a good time, that our food was great and we got what we wanted and even made suggestions. She was attentive yet not overbearing and bubbly. The manager even stopped over BEFORE the meal to introduce himself. And every employee we interacted with was more than helpful.
Extra stuff: Valet is $3 bucks. Can't beat that when you are rushing to your reservation. Don't have to worry about finding parking so you get to your reservation on time.
Music was great too! Not too loud tho because we could still hold a conversation.
The food we ate and service we experienced, Totally worth every dime we paid and time we spent.
Very good food and service. Manager was very attentive and cordial
Great ambiance and friendly service but food was very over cooked.
Excellent service and excellent good. Business dinner for 10 and it was pleasant. Attentive staff. The good options were interesting and all delicious.
A beautiful restaurant with dramatic yet elegant seating and a delicious 5-star menu.
Delicious appetizers, and the server was very caring and kind. Decor was nice. Missed the mark on the entrees. Interesting cocktails, wine list not very appealing but I imagine that is not their priority. Overall good, but not great.
I will never visit Sage again...the noise was ear shattering with decibels against the law. Dining should have background soothing music not sonic booms. The noise overwhelmed the whole dining experience. I was embarrassed for my friends as I had waxed eloquent about Sage at Perimeter.
Terrible service! It was our 23rd anniversary and I made a reservation on open table. We got there and they did not have it. Tried to tell me I made it for the wrong location! Then took 40 mins to get bread and an hour to get our appetizers! Talked to manager but she didn’t really seem to care. Food wasn’t going enough to make up for the bad service. Don’t go there. Go to Palm next door!
Celebrated a birthday. Had a great time with live music and good food.
The music was so loud in the dining room, we could not hear one another speak. When asked to turn it down, it was for about 3 minutes and then back up to an unbearable level. Very unpleasant. If they had told us their music will remain loud, we would have simply left grateful for the honesty of their chosen ambiance.
The manager brought my drink back for me to test before sending it back to the bar. She was pitiful. So sad. Waiter Andrea was great. Food average. $180 for us to split dinners.
Great place and great food. Our waiter (Andre I believe) gave us excellent suggestions and did an outstanding job taking care of us.
Service was extremely slow. 30 mins to get our drinks. 15 mins just to get water.
Food took an hour and a half then was over cooked (fish) inedible.
In town for business and good location, close to my hotel. Unfortunately the halibut special was one of the worse meals that I have ever had, The fish was over cooked and the pineapple in the sauce was cold. The waiter did his very best to make it right and I didn’t have to pay for the meal, Free desserts were brought to the table.
Met the owner and he was so cool!! Down to earth , warm and inviting. Was there for my Girlfriend's bday dinner party and had an awesome time. Our server was knowledgeable and very attentive! Will be back
It was my 32nd birthday and we had and awesome time. The food was delicious and our server Ivory was fast and so accommodating. I will definitely be back! It is dim lighting so it’s a great date place but my girls and I had same amount of fun. Great music playing in the back ground.
Everything was great!! The live band did amazing. The ambience was very elegant. My partner and I really enjoyed our food and evening!!
Food was ok, but the drinks aren’t that great and the place is highly overpriced for what it offer. Not recommended unless you’re meeting other people there, and they picked the spot.
The had a fantastic violinist. Definitely an amazing drinks spot, but food was just okay.
Goodness gracious! This was a perfect evening in every way. The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE. All of our meals were impeccably prepared. The Chef came to our table during our appetizers and when our dinner was served and was so gracious. GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. JUST GO. You will be SO very glad you did.
