   Good meal before we had to hit the airport at SRQ. The drinks were well made and tasty. The food was gluten free and was presented nicely, tasted better and the portions were appropriate. Overall a great place to eat. The service was great also not overbearing but attentive. We didn't visit the roof top bar this time but have enjoyed it in the past. We will be visiting again soon!

   This was a wonderful evening. I could see this restaurant from my hotel window and thought we should try it out. What a treat! This is an experience. We started with some fun cocktails, one had a smoke show to go with. Great bottle wine prices. The ambiance is beautiful and had live music which was a nice touch. Great service and limited menu, we opted for the specials. Tomahawk crusted steak and pasta. The pasta was a combination of flavor that was so delicious we had to order more. So if you are foodie this is a great place. My suggestion would be to just try it. I don’t write reviews but felt like this place deserved one.

   Cassie was a fantastic server! The whole staff was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The seafood paella was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, fresh seafood, wonderful flavor, delicious! Excellent food and cocktails. Great ambience. I will definitely come back. Check out the roof for a cocktail and lovely view of downtown.

   The menu is very very limited and super overprice for the size of some of the dishes. The ambiance was really nice and service was excellent. I would go back only for drinks.

   6 people and we all ordered different entrees. No one pleased. One person ordered the lamb chops as an entree and they were tough and dry. Did not eat at all and serving staff aware, no apologies. The rest of us consumed 1/2 to 3/4. Ordered desserts and those also not very good. Cocktails and wine were the only positive.

   They have missed the touch of cooking . The lamb chops they have in menu are not even worth trying . No flavor . They should take it out or learn how to cook real lamb . Now the Thai bouillabaisse their signature dish on menu , even they figured out how to screw the flavors for that now . I have tried before twice and it was good . Chef either change the team in kitchen or pay attention before the downfall starts . Anybody who knows the flavor and appreciate good food won’t appreciate the food you guys have now . Service is good wine selection is fair .

    We just discovered Sage SRQ a couple of months ago. We’re a retired couple and have enjoyed a lot of fine dining experiences, all over the country, and even the world. We can’t tell you how happy we are that Sage SRQ is our favorite fine dining experience of everywhere we have been. The consistent delivery of outstanding atmosphere, food, service, and selection is amazing. Thank you to the staff, thank you to the management, thank you to the chef, and thank you to the ownership for giving us this level of excellence right here in Sarasota! We’re already looking forward to our next Sage SRQ experience!!!

    Sage continues to live up to the description of fine dining for us, beginning with a warm and courteous reception at the front desk and consistent professional service throughout the evening.  Our entrées of quail and chicken, we’re prepared with exceptional flavor, in appropriate portions accompanied by savory appetizers, and a good wine selection. The restaurant space is exciting and just the vibe we were looking for to have a special dinner. The only disappointment was not having a beef option other than a 40 ounce bison steak which even for the two of us would have been more than we can comfortably enjoy. We appreciate the professionalism of management and the customer-focused staff that makes Sage our place for a special evening out.

    The restaurant tries to be a higher, tastier food experience. But it falls a little short. The scallops definitely were not fresh, although eatable. We were very hungry. The portions even smaller than 5 star restaurants in NYC. No bread either to clean your plate. Sorry!

    Another delicious meal at Sage! Our server Cassie led us through the Spring menu and the evening’s specials. She did not steer us wrong. Amazing food and flawless service in a beautiful setting.

    Fine dining at its best. You want to know the difference between a cook and a chef. It’s Watching the Yankees vs AAA baseball. Katie was outstanding. The atmosphere was breathtaking with live violinist.

    We are big fans of Sage and we will definitely return BUT our dinner experience was very disappointing. Lamb Chops were flavorless and lukewarm. Sturgeon was not even lukewarm, very dry and tough. This is not the standard to which we have learned to enjoy at Sage.

    Sage was just ok. Food came very slow and wasn’t tasty at all. Server nice but that didn’t make up for just lackluster kitchen performance. One in our party of eight felt queasy the next day (scallop crudo). Tuna tartare was awful. This was our second time there and both times was disappointing for the price. Prob will not return.

    Sage is a beautiful restaurant with an interesting menu. The ambience is about three best in Sarasota. Some of the portions are very small and overpriced, even for fine dining. The carrot appetizer is $15 for a spoonful of carrots, beautifully presented but so small it is only 3-4 bites. The desserts are nice but very overpriced. Crème brûlée for $15 is too much.

    The service (thank you Cassie), atmosphere and food will keep us coming back. It was our first time to Sage and won’t be our last. The Thai Bouillabaisse of Lobster is not to be missed. The seasonal shrimp special was also a favorite. This is not to be missed if you have a night or two in Sarasota.

    The food was fantastic and our waiter, Tim was wonderful. We got a history lesson about the building and he seemed to know the answer to every question we asked. Whether it was questions about the ingredients in our dishes (shredded duck appetizer, scallops crudo) or the massive art piece on the wall in main dining room (Sliced tree root system of a lychee tree) he knew it all. Loved that. Perfect ending to a lovely night was their ricotta baklava cheesecake…. heaven! Thank you.

    This is a good choice for a special occasion. Beautiful interior. Great bar program. Service was excellent. It is probably a bit on the high side as far as price. Overall, we had a really enjoyable evening that I would absolutely love to repeat.

    Excellent in every respect, including the fact that the menu had a vegetarian option that was the equal of the non-veg options. We had an early reservation; so there were few diners. In that context, the kitchen accommodated a simple appetizer request with a creative dish that showed the talent of the kitchen. We had a great time conversing with our server, who was knowledgeable about the history of the very interesting building.

    Celebrating my birthday dinner the service was exceptional from Cassie and we were next to a group of 16. It was a bit noisy only because of a big group. The ambience was really nice. They had music in the front lobby as you walked in and we set up above on a second floor, overlooking the bar down below another tables, enjoy the valet parking since it rained pretty hard when we arrived overall enjoyed it

    We are on our mini vacation and always dine at different restaurants for the experience any place we are visiting. I am sorry to say that this restaurant is not we where expecting. We read the reviews and we agreed to experience what other are saying. The ambience was very good and inviting, unfortunately not for the food. Being a foodie and a frequent open table diner, I have to say that this restaurant was a disappointment. The food that was described with elegant detail, that reflected the prices did not live up to expectations. But the service was good and the way the restaurant was designed and decorated was excellent. I wouldn’t mind paying the prices they charge on their menu and also enjoy the ambiance at the same time.
