LOVED this eatery with my family for my birthday dinner. Was so sad to discover they are closing for good! I applaud the team and restaurant for going full speed ahead and still having their full menu, attentive and caring hosts, waitress and crew, even though they are shutting down in just a few days. Lets please support their other locations! Thank you sage!

This was an interesting experiment, for us, dining at an all vegan restaurant. 3 of us ordered 4 items: the cauliflower appetizer cooked 3 ways, and 3 different pizzas. Our server was wonderful about explaining the items on the menu. Our appetizer arrived quickly, which was lovey. Unfortunately, all three pizzas arrived at the same time, shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, everything cooled down quickly. All of the food was good, with the vegan sausage pizza being our favorite.

We love having fresh, vegan, organic farm to table food in our community and we love supporting such a cause. The dishes are thoughtfully made and almost everything is delectible. My favorite is the festival burrito and the soul bowl.

We went to Sage on a Sunday for brunch. I had chia French toast and hashed browns with a soy latté. Hubby had blueberry banana pancakes with breakfast potatoes. The total bill, with tip was about $72... a bit pricey for breakfast for two! But the food was unbelievably delicious!!!! The service was also great. My only complaint (besides price) was the actual seating. We sat in the "outside" area, which is like an enclosed patio. The table was fixed to the ground and was too far away from the booth seat for my liking and could not be adjusted. But the worst part was the awful metal chairs! Not only are they flat metal with no padding, but there are little sides to them that make them only suitable for tiny people. I only weigh 135lbs (size small to medium clothes) and I could not comfortably sit in them at all, so we ended up both sitting on the booth / bench side. But we loved our food and the overall experience and will definitely be going back.

The servers are really good about recommending things if it's your 1st time period. They also know all the local craft beers and will give you a sample of each of you ask. I recommend the bowls, the mole' bowl and the bowl of soul are excellent

Sage is a very good place to eat good food, whether you are vegan or not,,, it is all tasty and the people there are so welcoming and fun. We highly recommend you try it. The combo wing platter was big and delicious.. buffalo, teriyaki and sweet n sour...mmmm

I’ve been a vegan for a few year now. Way before there were so many options, so I am always glad to hear of plant based restaurants that I haven’t been to. My friend told me about this place so I decided to give it a try. Overall food was good. Service was Ok but prices are ridiculously EXPENSIVE. Come on. Really??? I got a rice bowl. Cauliflower rice tofu shouldn’t cost almost $30. I treated my friend. She had a wrap I had a rice bowl and a bread pudín for dessert. No drinks we both drank plain WATER. No bottled water, table water. All including taxes and tip came out to be $80 If we ordered drinks the bill would’ve been easy way over $100 Again, WAY WAY to expensive for what it is Back to my question: Would I go back? Probably not.

I love sage and have dined with them at a few locations. On this particular outing it was so hot outside and barely cooling off inside which isn’t their fault. But the service was slow and lacking. The food was over salted and good but nothing impressive. Didn’t seem particularly clean in there- the table and bench had stains and crumbs.

I have been a vegan for the past 10 years. Visited your restaurant twice in last 3 months. Both times were mediocre at best. Even the reservations were incorrect. 1). Service seems to be always understaffed. Waited for a menu and drink order for an extraordinary length of time. 2) Had at least 4 different servers during our visit. 3) Bartender must always be a stand-in. Ordered a martini first visit. What I received did not resemble any martini I have ever seen. Your bar has no ginger ale and our server did not know what ginger ale is. 4) Food has been barely passable on both visits. The waiter tried to upsell us meatballs with the lasagna. Who does that? 5) I had the pizza this last time and the crust was not really a crust at all. More of a gooey mess. Squash ravioli was so tough it had to be cut with a knife. 6) Food preparers need training. Apologies for the negative review. I so wanted your restaurant to be a success. But it desperately needs management attention. Doubt I will return in the near future. We don't have a lot of good vegan restaurants in this community, it's a shame yours is not up to the task of filling that role.

I had such an amazing time at this location! Service was great from beginning to end. I was running late and had to call the restaurant. The hostess was advised and she began to sest my party and make sure that they had drinks while they waited for me to arrive. Jackson was so patient and pleasant with taking my party's orders. Dorothy came in after Jackson's shift ended, and took over seamlessly. And Joaquin... Well, what can I say? He is all the way fabulous! I would definitely visit again. They made my birthday brunch well worth the drive.

I really want to be positive but the food was barely tolerable. I am a long time vegan and I really care about the quality of the food. I had the eggplant barbacoa which was a thin, highly acid eggplant spread on two greasy corn tortillas. It was not tasty. There was brown rice and black beans, they were ho hum. My wife had the vegan tuna melt, it was ok. Seemed kind of mushy and flavorless to me. We shared the cauliflower wings which were spicey and bland, improved with the addition of some lemon juice. The wait staff was quite pleasant, although one the dishes was incorrect and sent back to the kitchen and we were presented with the check before the last order had arrived at the table. We had to ask for it again. My son watched us eat dinner and left with his in a box! It was a busy Friday night and I hope others had a better experience. We will not be returning, as much as I do want to see vegan food alternatives in Agoura/Westlake.
