   Beautiful setting, but the experience didn’t match the high expectations or price point. We enjoyed the cauliflower soup and fried quail, but the $215 steak special was unevenly cooked and underwhelming. The most uncomfortable moment was when our waitress forgot to charge us for a Manhattan and ran after my husband outside to ask for another credit card. For a place positioning itself at this caliber, it all felt a bit awkward and off. It could have just been an off night though.

   The two starter dishes were fantastic. However, once the mains came we were very underwhelmed. The lamb dish is definitely not Michelin star. We have had better at an eatery in Red Lodge and was actually even thinking about it while having our meal at The Grill. Then hoping desert would take us back up but how disappointed we were. The chocolate tart was absolutely ordinary. Nothing to it. The “ice cream cake” with a whole lot of marshmallow was all show. DQ could do better. Overall extremely disappointed. Never say never, but we probably won’t be back.

   Food was amazing as always and staff was great! Did not realize since booking through Open Table that menu was set tasting menu versus regular menu. Not Sage fault. Open Table should have noted that.

   Big fan of Sage, frequent flyers. Usually dine at The Fireside room and love it. The Grill’s set menu for Valentine’s day was not up to speed with the normal MO. They were out of the 1st course we wanted (at 7pm) and the replacement was sub par. 2 hours from sit down to main course. We were not impressed with dessert, although there was 2 other options. An attempt from the staff to “make it right” was 20% off the tab (we didn’t ask for anything) and although it was a nice gesture, we just wanted the normal experience we have at the Fireside room in the upscale “The Grill”. We will be back to the fireside, but will skip the grill.

   Thank you for making my birthday so very special. The food is always fabulous, the service was so accommodating. We had a last-minute addition of four and you didn't even blink. We'll be back. It's a great place for a special occasion.

   Our meal here was DELICIOUS. Some of the best wood fired steak, veggies, and entres we have had. Couldnt recommend it more! The service was fast and professional. Loved dining here!

    We had the best experience , food outstanding, everything from breakfast, to dinner and an amazing charcuterie. Bobbi the bartender was always so welcoming, and made the best drinks! We still miss her and our whole experience. I had the bison bolognese for the first time and it was so good!
