Sage Grille at The Westin Huntsville
It was a slow and confusing start but it ended well
I was extremely dissatisfied with the service. We were on time, but our tables were not set up. Restaurant was 90% empty. Our server presented us with breakfast menus, then 15 minutes later removed the breakfast menus and told us that breakfast was not available. After waiting a few more minutes to get lunch menus and to decide we wanted we were then told breakfast was available! And since it was Mother’s Day and all of the mothers wanted breakfast food we switched back to the original menus. Long story short, it took 45 min to place our orders and then another 45 minutes to receive food. One veteran server came by and acknowledged that our server was new and that mistakes had been made, but she was so busy waiting on all her tables that she couldn’t take over. The restaurant was pretty empty, so I really don’t understand the issues. Won’t be back.
The food was great, but the kitchen was a little slow.
