Very nice dinner. Wine list was a good mix of varietals and reasonably priced. The fresh catch Mahi came well presented with rice and French beans on Jasmine fried rice. Filet was cooked medium and was very tender and mildly seasoned. I hope this restaurant thrives since there are no really good wine and fine food restaurants of this value or quality in Brevard county. I hope the locals realize this small gem and frequent this restaurant. We will return next time we make it back to the area and look forward to the opportunity to see how they are doing with new dishes and quality and consistency.

As always, the food at Sage was superlative.
The hostess was welcoming and warm as in the past and our server, Robin, was friendly and excellent with the order taking and food delivery.
Unfortunately however, I had completed the online reservation form indicating our visit was for my wife’s birthday and requested a cake and candle and reiterated this to Robin when she asked if this was a special occasion when taking our order.
We never received any cake and to ask for it after the meal would have been a bit awkward.p

Took my wife and daughter for Mother's day. Food was really delicious. Duck spring rolls, mushroom soup, and garden salads, pork chops, rack of lamb and the fish were the dishes we ordered. Everything was very well prepared and very enjoyable.

Sage tries really, really hard- too hard, actually. They want to be a destination gourmet restaurant, but they are bedeviled by a menu that is too long, poor communication between waitstaff and kitchen and some flavor combinations that are sometimes terrific but other times miss the mark. Frankly, they should pare down the menu and perfect their remaining dishes. It's just too hit and miss.

Hits: cream of mushroom and chardonnay soup, scallop tapas, the home made dressings on the salads, apple crumble right out of the oven, escargot, baby osso buco spicy buffalo flavored appetizer, the braised cabbage and spetzel that came with the braised pork shank, rare tuna, a good Hendrick's gin and tonic (but the lime slice was too skimpy).

Misses: yellow cake served with raspberry butter cream served cold in a mason jar (the cake was dry and the butter cream was hard), lobster pot pie (no cream sauce but a thin bland tomato sauce, a sheet of puff pastry instead of home made pie crust), above mentioned pork shank (tender and liked the caraway seed flavor but tasted strongly of raw garlic which knocked out all the other flavors- why?!), chips and guacamole (chips were flour not corn and lacked salt/guac was bland- need more lime and had no heat).

There were more adventurous dishes (esp on the "mother's day menu") but they were pricy and I was nervous given the size of the menu and didn't try them. The server gushed about the dishes she liked, but the soup took over 45 min to arrive at our table. The hostess/manager came over and apologized and brought out the soup (which at that point we boxed for later). My dining partner sent back the Buffalo flavored baby osso buco because it was too hot for her. To their credit they took it off the bill (I liked it BTW).

I would go back and poke around the menu some more. The hits were true hits. The place has potential and I'm glad they are trying and willing to branch out. But the dishes need work.

We have been dining here at Sage since the new owners took over, several years ago. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is very good, and the atmosphere is conclusive to large and small groups

Food was amazing. Dining room was noisy due to several boisterous patrons, and would benefit from some dividers or barriers to make the tables more private, but in spite of that, we will be back because the dishes were delicious. Nice full bar selection.

Great dinner at Sage! My husband and I started with the featured scallop appetizer and shared the lobster pot pie. For dessert, we shared the strawberry rhubarb crisp, which was delicious!

I have dined here numerous times, and, as usual, the meal was exceptional. The fresh guacamole is very good, and, the tuna poke was exceptional. Entres consisted of two fish dishes, and a steak. Everyone was happy with their choice.

There us plenty of room, with an open layout, so, bring the gang.

This place has consistently good fine dining. Paleo and gluten free options. Friendly, warm staff, located in Cape Canaveral, quieter than Cocoa Beach options.

Much more than beach food. This restaurant makes all food items from scratch, except for the bread. We sampled a number of items and enjoyed every course. We will definitely return.

fresh to table creative food nice ambiance, went for special occasion and was not disappointed. My third visit have loved it each time. Duck spring rolls where delicious, friends had lobster pot pie with large meaty chunks. Hostess, and server took excellent care of us. Apple crisp desert was delicious as well.

In a surprisingly empty restaurant on a Friday evening during Easter week we were, once again under-whelmed. A tapas selection of tuna carpaccio was excellent and a selection of "fresh local" clams were seriously over-cooked and chewy. My wife's "featured" salad of the day was heavily dressed with balsamic vinegar overpowering literally all of the ingredients. We have now tried Sage many times over the past 12-14 months and continue to be disappointed with the consistent inconsistencies. We've had great food. We've had real disappointments. And we don't know how to select accordingly.

Second time there and as good as the first time. Nice ambiance, friendly service, great food and excellent value. Especially like Tuesdays - Tapas Tuesdays - $10. Ordered from the wine list also. Good wines for a good value (bottles). Great find in the Cape/Cocoa Beach area.

My macadamia nut encrusted red snapper was phenomenal!!!!! The grapefruit buerre blanc sauce was fantastic! One of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. My husband had the lamb pot roast and raved about it! We would definitely go there again! Great place to visit prior to leaving on a cruise out of Cape Canaveral! Highly recommend!

This bistro was a great find last year and it continues to delight. The special fish, corvina, was outstanding, as was the yellow fin tuna. The service is always attentive. The final bit of heaven was the strawberry-rhubarb crisp served warm with a scoop of ice cream.

Sage Bistro was recommended to us by my sister who lives on Merritt Island. The food and wine were outstanding. We tried all thee tapas selections. We were not disappointed. The service however was horrible. Our server clearly had an issue and left in the middle of our meal. Our order had never been placed The hostess apologized. The owner who we had spoken to earlier ( to complement on the wine) never offered her apology or any compensation for our inconvenience. I also left my name and address. Overall a below average experience.

Food is always great at Sage. We have been going to Sage on our yearly vacation of 3 weeks at Cape Canaveral. We have gone Twice and maybe a third before we leave!!

Our waiter, Levi, was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu selections and anticipated our needs. The food is excellent. We all started with the Moroccan lamb and lentil soup, which was exceptionally flavorful. The bread is hot and delicious and we all had incredibly delicious entrees.

First time here. Looked for a special place to enjoy our last night of our yearly sister vacation. Researched different restaurants & the Sage Bistro stood out. We were so happy we chose this place. The food was some of the best we've had. Two had the stuffed chicken, two had steak & one had the salmon. All of the dishes were great. For dessert we had the death by chocolate cheesecake which we shared. One of the best desserts we've ever had. Strongly recommend this place. Also the prices are reasonable. Will be back on our vacation next year. Also the service was excellent.

This was our second time visiting the restaurant. We visited other restaurants in the area but feel this restaurant yielded the best dining experience and freshest food in the area. We were very impressed at how the scallops were done just right. The food is not over cooked and the presentation is excellent.

We went as a group after our friends had dined there the previous evening and wanted to return! Our waitress, Debbie, was awesome - so friendly, attentive and helpful with the menu. I had the Salmon with Risotto which was fantastic.

First time dining at the Sage Bistro. We got a little concerned after a slow start when we placed our appetizer order and asked for 4 scallops as we had four in our party. When the appetizer came out there were only three. Our waitress was phenomenal and took quick control of the situation. Promptly she had the extra scallop prepared and for extra measure delivered two bowls of their fish chowder, which was delicious!

Overall everyone enjoyed their meals and everything was cooked to perfection. Sage bistro will be a definite stop the next time through the Canaveral area!

We had the pork belly slider appetizer. It was very tasty. The sauce had just a little kick to it, but not too much. I'd definitely order this again.
We had the shrimp pesto and the seared tuna entrees. The sauce on the shrimp was very rich, heavier than I expected . My husband enjoyed the tuna.
Service was pretty good. A little slow to get greeted by our server, and to place a drink order, but after the initial delay, it was good. Tables are a little close, we could hear the argument that a couple near us was having.
Overall good experience if you're looking for a nice place for dinner.

Food pretty good but our waitress was worthless, no other way to say this. She ignored us, never asked us if we wanted wine or drinks for 2nd time, never checked back with us. She just sat at the front and talked. She was not friendly whatsoever. Service is a huge part of a good restaurant won’t go back. She was awful..

Always can count on good food here. Had fish special, Norwegian Salmon with a wonderful sauce, on delicious risotto. The pork chops also excellent. They are a scratch kitchen and are very accommodating for allergies and diets. German specialities are excellent!

We had a large party and the staf was very accommodating to move tables around so we could all sit together.
The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal including desserts.

Reservations were at 7:30, appetizer arrived 1 hour later at 8:30. We were told at 8:45 that the veal we had ordered over AN hour earlier was no longer available. (couple next to us who arrived later had veal for dinner) Finally got mains around 9pm. Guacamole was excellent, tuna poke way too salty, osso bucco wings were awsome, soup too salty, steak good, salmon overcooked.

Service was not very attentive and the side dishes (seasoned rice) and avocado mashed potatoes were almost cold. The cobia was very fresh and delicious though.

Over all this was good, but since I would have to pass Pompano Grill and Florida Fresh Grill to come here again, I probably won't.

Service was very good. Ordered the stuffed chicken which was tasty but dry.
I would still go back though as I have had better dishes such as the Pesto shrimp and Caesar salad
