This restaurant was a gem. I found it on open table but the picture did not do it justice. It is lovely with such a cool vibe. The appetizer specials sounded so wonderful, we ordered all three. We were not let down. Delicious. Everything was out of this world which was perfect as we were down for the rocket launch. We would have returned the next night but they were closed on Sunday. Can’t wait to return.
The food here is always delicious, and great presentation.
We have always enjoyed the Sage Bistro, and this visit was no exception. Excellent service by Brittany, excellent food and easily accommodating a couple of different food allergies the 4 of us live with. We introduced another couple and they loved it so much, they are planning to have their anniversary dinner there!
Nice atmosphere, good service but some of food was a little salty.
this is our favorite restaurant in Cocoa Beach Florida
Hidden Gem. Wouldnt have expected such a quaint restaurant tucked off the road. Wonderful food, good wine, and great ambiance.
Delicious food and cocktails, great for a date night!
Sage never disappoints. The quality of the food is always fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they only use the best ingredients and the chef is proud of the food they put out. We continue to struggle every time we go there because we want to order ten things but only have room for a couple. We usually come in early and sit at the bar so that we can enjoy amazing martini's made by Kelly, the bartender. She makes you feel like family with a warm greeting and good conversation. They have a ton of "tapas" style appetizers as well as an ever changing menu of specials on top of their standard menu. Which is already very diverse. We continue to think this is probably the best hidden gem in Brevard County and a top five dining experience. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot if you haven't.
great place to eat, good wine list and very tasty food.
Always great food- makes it hard to decide what to order.
Tables spaced out and employees wearing masks.
We will return!
Celebrated my 75th year on the planet............memorable celebration. Strawberry-Rhubarb Crisp was excellent!!!
Food and service were awesome!
We will be going back soon.
Our server Erik was professional, courteous and very accommodating. They triple sat him plus he a bridal reception of 20+ people and was on top of it all and we never felt neglected or had slow service. Our meals exceeded our expectation and the portions were huge! Can’t wait to go back soon!
Sage Bistro is a must try! I'm sure you'll leave a very happy diner. It's our new favorite local restaurant.
This was our 2nd trip to Sage. It was as good as the first! This time I had the Beef Bourguinon. (sirloin tips, sauce, noodles) You could absolutely tell that the noodles were prepared in house. The Sauce in the mix was on point. There was an ample amount of sirloin tips. So much so, that I devoured those first because they were so tender and saucy. I had a lot of noodles left over, but they went home with us. The spouse had the Rib-Eye special with a special sauce that had to do with a whisky name that I can't remember. No matter though, as she lapped it up. The steak portion was huge! And she loved the garlic mashed potatoes as well. She had half of her steak left over, and a day later she combined her steak with my noodles and reheated them. She said that the steak was still tender and juicy. The only knock on the place is that the music was a bit loud.
Absolute perfection. And Covid restrictions makes it all the more private and enjoyable. Best restaurant in the area.
Always good food fresh seafood I thing I have tried nearly everything on the menu
Sage was unreasonably delicious. The Caesar dressing was addictive, as were the ossobucco "wings" and fettuccini alfredo. Everyone who worked there was super friendly as well. I'm incredibly angry that I live several hours away and can't eat there weekly.
Sage Bistro never fails to impress. Diverse menu. Fabulous sauces. Great wines. Highly recommend Sage Bistro.
Most amazing food we've had in a long time...and we're pretty darned good cooks ourselves!
Sage Bistro was absolutely delicious. They have a great menu and wine list. We had the pasta and the ribeye. The apple crisp dessert was spectacular. And the service was wonderful.
We had a great exprience! The staff was awesome, very friendly and personable. Food was fresh and delicious! Highly recommend!
Since moving to Merritt Island two years ago we have found the food here very disappointing. Sage Bistro was such a wonderful surprise! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very nice. I would say to date Sage Bistro has been our favorite dining experience and we definitely will be returning. We would definitely recommend Sage Bistro! We are looking forward to our next trip!
Great food and service. Have eaten at Sage more than a few times. Never disappointed.
Very good food. Had time for salad then main entree. Was not rushed.
As ususal, my husband and I had an excellent dinner there. The owner had to take up some slack, as some of the wait service was not there. We wanted for nothing.
The Lobster Pot Pie is my fav, however, everytime I try something different, I enjoy it.
The blue cheese dressing is terrific. We are usually too full to eat desert, however, I have taken it to go a few times. Always awesome!
Sage is always a great place to go for a nice meal. A nice varied menu and always great specials. Reasonably priced too for such great food and even better service. You honestly can not go wrong going here. Just remember, scratch kitchen, so good food takes time. Slow the heck down, get onto Florida time if not a local and actually enjoy your meal.
Kudos to them for handling the Covid issue so well. Inside and outside tables. Servers all in masks, place spotless. Way to do it.
Gracious service, staff had masks which made us more comfortable dining inside and the food was delicious. We sampled several small plates, from tapas to sides.
My wife and I went to to this amazing establishment for an anniversary dinner and was not disappointed. The flavor and presentation of the food was outstanding and the wait staff was attentive to all our needs. The atmosphere felt upscale but still gave casual vibe as well. On top of that the pricing is low for such exquisite dining. Definitely will be dining here next visit.
We had a very nice time at the restaurant but.... writer kept spilling out drinks, food was great but not unique and it just not making it to 5 star in my book. I may go back but not a must as for another restaurant experience.
Excellent EVERYTHING! From appetizers to dessert. Great service as well.
Amazing service, phenomenal food. Appreciate the owner stopping by our table and checking on us. True hidden gem on the Spacecoast.
Made reservation for 2 and requested window seating. Upon arrival hostess commented that we were lucky to get it since they had requests for mostly 2 tops. The whole evening we were the only customers except for one large party of eight and one other couple. Service was excellent although food did come out faster than we expected. Chorizo crusted sea bass was outstanding as was the tuna. Pleasant evening.
Enjoyed the night out. Food is excellent and substantial. Large portions. Service is great. We really like the owner, Sarah, and Kelly, who is the bartender. Nice place, highly recommend for good food and good time.
Sarah and her staff did, as always, an amazing job! Food is excellent. They were busy, being a Saturday night, but no one looked frantic or “in the weeds”.
We did notice some folks who didn’t think wearing masks in and out of the restaurant was meant for them.....
Love Sage bistro . Food is from scratch and delicious! Felt safe there during the pandemic. They are taking the right measures, tables spaced apart etc
Moved to Merritt Island and have dined here a three times. Trying to establish a new local go to. Made a reservation this morning and selected indoor seats. Arrived to be told we could only sit outside as inside seemed to be reserved for regular clients. Service was slow at best. Water and wine sat empty. Food was great — loved our dishes of pesto shrimp and stuffed chicken. Flies outside made dinner difficult. Check was ran with a wine I wasn’t served. Correction was made. It is a great local place but if you are not their regular local clients it seems you get a short straw. We miss islands fish grill in Melbourne as they have it all together. Would love to make Sage a new regular place but tonight was a disappointment.
A great dining experience. Crystal our server was on point. Very attentive to detail. The quality of food was exceptional. The owner, Diane was so gracious and checked on our table several time. This is a top notch restaurant of the highest order. You owe yourself a visit yo Sage Bistro. You wont be disapointed.
Fabulous food and very welcoming people. They are going BEYOND all the safety precautions and more. We felt very comfortable!! Lovely evening. Thank you.
We don’t get down to the beach as often as we like, but we ALWAYS try to include dinner at Sage. Wonderful ambiance, food is gourmet and owner, Sara, makes everyone feel welcome. See you all next time!
