Great family owned restaurant!
It took a few minutes to be seated due to COVID-19 required sanitation guidelines. The food was excellent! There was a time lag in being served our dinner entrée, however I acknowledge just how nice it was for the owner (Sarah) to come to our table and explain why the entrée was taking longer than anticipated and also answered our questions and visited for a while. Much better than sitting there not knowing what was causing the delay. My wife and I, along with the couple who dined with us will be back!
Outstanding menu selection! The nice wine list and our kind waitress made our evening out perfect. We loved the sea bass and German schnitzel!
This was our second visit in 6 days. This time, I brought my husband and sister-in-law. The food is phenomenal! The chorizo crusted sea bass is to die for, and the avocado mashed potatoes, a strange combination, absolutely work. Everybody raves about their dish. Everything is sourced locally. If you want fresh, this is the place. A winner for us! We definitely we keep this in our list of restaurants to visit when in Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral.
Had another outstanding dinner at Sage Bistro. Cocktails were spot on, grouper dinners were delicious and so was the lobster pot pie. Our dessert of lemon cake balls dipped in white chocolate was the perfect finish.
As usual dinner was outstanding for everyone along with service! One of our favorite restaurants in the area!
new guy took him 4 times to get the bill correct
food is always great
Service, food, and Ambience
Salads were not delivered before dinner as promised. Manager came by and apologized personally. Good leadership on her part.
Food and atmosphere were excellent.
It was very comfortable with freshly made food with an outstanding chef
the Clam appy was fantastic!!!! This is our got to Restaurant in Cocoa Beach!!!!
Just wonderful! Everything was delicious!!! If you’re looking for a quality, fresh made meal go to Sage Bistro!!
Another great dinner and at one of our favorite spots!
Excellent experience. Attentive staff, knowledgable. Great atmosphere to sit and chat. Food was delicious. My friend and I wanted a nice meal and we were not disappointed, from sea scallop tapas to the pecan pie bites for dessert, everything was done perfectly. Lovely!
Never had a bad meal and they are all made from scratch.
This is a gem. If you're in Cocoa Beach you need to come here.
The service was awful. Everything took forever.
The stuffed chicken was so dry I couldn't swallow it. When I told the waitress she didn't care. The brussel sprouts tasted like soap.
Great food and great service
Excellent menu and very friendly staff. Nice cozy atmosphere.
The food at Sage is true artwork. The presentation is beautiful and the taste is so great that it can’t really be described with words. It truly tastes like it was made with Love. The service is wonderful and the ambience is quiet and cozy. LOVE this place!
Both of us had seafood dishes, both were fresh and delicious. Unique flavors and ingredients in both plates. Had the escargot as an app, delicious, and added some brussels to the main course. Seems to be a hidden gem here, I've been coming to Brevard County for 35 years and never been here. Thanks for a great experience!
The social distancing was perfect, the food was perfect, the service was perfect.
This is a scratch kitchen and everything we ordered was fabulous! Support local. We will definitely return.
Hostess and all servers wore masks. Seating was spaced out. Food was wonderful as always. There was outdoor and indoor seating.
As always this restaurant performed in an outstanding manner everything was prepared perfectly service personnel we’re on top of everything one of the best restaurants in Brevard
Our dinners were perfectly cooked, delicious, and beautifully presented.
Everyone in our party enjoyed their dinner very much, except for the person who ordered the Lamb Pot Roast. Sounded delicious, but was sooooooo salty she couldn't eat it. With that said the Manager did offer to give her another dinner, but by that time everyone was already eating and almost done. So the offer was refused. We really enjoy well seasoned food, but the salt in this dish was ridiculous. I would go back but never order the lamb Pot Roast!
Had a light supper of Italian Wedding Soup and scallops with lobster sauce. The soup was typical. The scallops were terrific!
This is a Hidden Treasure. The first surprise was the word that it was Wednesday Wine Night. This gave us two for one glasses of wine at a reasonable price of $11. The server was very pleasant and informative about the menu and how all the food was made from scratch. We had the Sea Bass from the menu and the special Swordfish. Both were Excellent dishes and very generous in size. The only minor disappointment was the slightly wilty salad greens. They were a good mix, but could have been crisper.
For dessert we shared their Oreo cheesecake dipped in dark chocolate. YUMMMMM!!!
The experience (as a whole) was good!
The location is not ideal, although the inside is nice.
Prices are high, but the food is good.
One of our guests complained about the rice (very mushy, not very tasty).
She said that her 10 year old granddaughter can make better rice.
For the price, the rice should be good!
Good find in Cape Canaveral. Though a little rough around the edges, overall a very good restaurant. For instance, the shrimp cocktail was excellent - large shrimp cooked correctly. Could have been chilled a bit more. The tuna poke very nice flavors - but the rice was a bit undercooked. The wiener schnitzel was wonderful - large cutlet, crispy but not overcooked. The accompanying spaetzle and red cabbage were good - could have been a bit warmer.
This is "from scratch" restaurant, so food takes a bit of time to get to the table. The over zealous staff were pleasant and were trying very hard to meet our needs. They should relax a bit.
This is one of our favourite spots in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area! A scratch kitchen that manages allergies and always has good food and service. Whenever we take visitors they are impressed.
With everything hand made, what can there be to complain about. The German Wiener Schnitzel with braised red cabbage and spaetzle was perfection with a very ample serving. Wednesday evening is wine night so purchase one glass of wine with entree and second glass free. Quite an amazing selection of wines are offered. We had a table of eight, and the service was great. Our waitress was attentive without going overboard. Consider Sage Bistro for an amazing dining experience.
The food and service were excellent. I had the wiener schnitzel (Hunter style) and my wife had the stuffed baked chicken. Both were amazing and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. We'll be back soon!
We love Sage and the care the owners take with their menu and their guests. We enjoyed our dishes and will be back! Highly recommend the cheesecake cake ball dessert. I will dream of those perfect bites. I also appreciated our waiter recommending I sample the wine he suggested and not flinching when I didn’t like it.
Sage Bistro is the one really fine dining restaurant in the Canaveral/CoCo Beach area. Everything is made from scratch, the ambience is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Having dinner there is a great experience with great food.
Stuffed chicken was liked. Guacamole was good. Meatballs not dry and not tasty. 2nd worst wiener schnitzel I have had but average. Terrible spatzle and mushroom sauce
Food is excellent, all made from scratch. Especially enjoyed the tapas and soup of the day. Lobster pot pie was better than I had in Maine, other than the potatoes needed to be cut into more bite-sized chunks. Curiously, they did not have my open table reservation, but kindly seated us.
Sage is one of our favorite places...this visit we were a party of 6, four who had never been to Sage. We each had different entrees, and all of us were delighted with our choices. We saved room for dessert because it is a highlight of our visits, We had the apple cobbler with homemade ice cream while others had the rhubarb cobbler or an evening special triple chocolate torte. All were a treat for our tastebuds! All 4 newbies are eager to return. Kudos to Chef Jordan and Sara and her dining room staff for a delectable meal, served beautifully and attentively.
