Very nice medium sized restaurant walking distance from our rental. The food was great, especially the mushroom soup. The service was attentive but not overly and the price reasonable. There were lots of things on the menu that interested us, so we will probably be back.
Excellent service, food very fresh and excellent. Will return for sure
Great food. Very good server. A long time getting our food. Long time telling us they had run out of shrimp and scallop special and would compensate by not charging us for the Brussel sprouts. We'll, ok. There were probably 3 Brussel sprouts cut in half on the plate. That compensation was rather a joke.
Steaks done to perfection. Not rushed. Excellent service. Love this place!
Excellent -- the evening was wonderful. Service second to none. And the food -- outstanding. Sage never disappoints.
I must say that I was disappointed with the meal. The main entree. The soup was outstanding the duck salad what's good. I ordered the sea bass and it was still frozen. I then ordered a filet mignon asked for it medium and basically it was rare.
We enjoyed our Valentine Day dinner with friends, and everything was delicious and service was excellent . Our party of 5 with food allergy and dietary concerns was accommodated nicely.
Wonderful restaurant all around! Definitely a special culinary experience from the pan- seared scallop tapas with a curry/lobster reduction to the entrees of fresh salmon & Greek pork chops to the chocolate chip cheesecake balls dipped in chocolate. And staff so friendly and helpful.
Came here on a Monday night with a reservation. Restaurant was not busy at 5:30, but filled up as we ate. We both had the stuffed, baked chicken and house salad which were excellent. Also home baked bread brought to the table, warm with butter. Good wine at reasonable happy hour prices. A quiet, relaxing venue, with good service. A nice change from bar food, even though there is a limited menu. We'll go again.
Sage Bistro was easy and delicious! Service was prompt and friendly with great recommendations and wonderful specials for the night. Our party of four was on a double date and thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The only reason I would give the food four out of five stars would be because the chicken on the absolutely incredible Sage Alfredo was a little dry. The pasta itself was wonderful! The scallops with curry cream sauce were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked! The Seabass encrusted in chorizo was devoured by my husband and our friend along with the avocado mashed potatoes. Some unique dishes, eclectic menu, and overall service make this a place to visit.
always met with warm receiption great drinks extremely interesting menu staff is polite and professional
Best on the Space Coast
We’ve had several dinners at Sage and continue to bring friends to introduce them to the honest goodness of this place. Nothing pretentious, just fine ingredients, well prepared, enhanced with reasonably priced wines.
Mushroom soup was amazing
Tuna poke outstanding
Scratch kitchen was fabulous
The owner and chef know what they are doing
Top notch place !!
First time eating here. Very enjoyable. Everything was fresh. Interesting menu, quite a variety. Looking forward to going back and trying something else. Great mojito!
We ate at the Sage several nights prior to this seating and had a lovely evening and great food. This evening was the opposite. Timing of our service was the major issue. The restaurant had few people when we arrived. We ordered wine by the glass and then our food. The wine was so delayed in arriving we felt it had been overlooked so finally asked the waitress. She then brought it and our salads too. We had only time to take one bite of our salad when our entree arrived. No room on the small table for both plates and we had expected to enjoy our salad and a little wine before the entree. A waitress saw my scowl and asked if I would like my entree removed and held under the heat lamp. I said yes, but felt like telling her to have the chef prepare a fresh plate when our salads were finished. My entree was later returned. The stuffed chicken breast was delicious, the mashed potatoes hard and cold, not edible. The green beans were so tough I could not cut them with my husbands steak knife, let alone chew them. The peanut butter cheesecake squares are wonderful.
I am not sure what caused the delay of wine service and the speeded up serving of the salad and entree almost simultaneously. We had expected a relaxed, leisurely meal as we had two nights prior. This was not.
Nice neighborhood restaurant with a fare for Foodies! Very casual and not noisey
It's so nice to be greeted with an authentic smile upon entering a. restaurant I was also pleased with the interior, much nicer than the decor of the restaurant that used the space prior.
Both the hostess and our waitress couldn't have been more sincere in making our dining experience special.
Our server told us the specials, including two tapas dishes that were outstanding. One was meatballs with gorgonzola cheese and the other was scallops that were delicious.
My main course was weiner schnitzel made with veal (so often it's made with chicken) which was simple but delicious. The meal came with a side side salad and choice of spatzle, home fries, braised red cabbage or green beans. Of course I chose the spatzle - awesome! My husband's grilled mahi mahi was wonderful. I loved the bread that was brought to our table. I'm disappointed when a restaurant doesn't serve some form of bread before the meal, so I was very happy!
Prices are reasonable for a fine dining establishment. They even had a special that for each tapa you purchased you received 2 for 1 glass of wine, so with two tapas ordered we received 4 glasses of wine for the price of two! Great deal.
This would be a great place to start a cruise holiday by dining at Sage Bistro in Cape Canaveral the night before sailing!
Recommended by locals it had great food and service!
Would highly recommend this restaurant!
Relaxed, comfortable, welcoming. Had a wonderful dinner with friends and each of the entrees was outstanding (sea bass, pork chop, salmon). Especially memorable was the lobster and crab mac and cheese, out of this world! Service was just right -- not too much, not too little -- and the bartender was a gem. Would definitely return for dinner.
We alway enjoy the environment, food and the friendly staff.
This is a treasure. The value is off the charts. If I had this food in Chicago it could be over $400....but at Sage under $100. The mother-son team knocks it out of the park. Go here - you won't regret it.
The food is fresh and delicious. The table service was. Good.
Everything was outstanding food and Service.
Takk kærlega fyrir
Food was spectacular. This is a scratch kitchen. They make EVERYTHING fresh from scratch. We took our adult children for a relaxed gourmet meal. We had scallops as an appetizer, followed by wiener snitzel with all the trimmings, chorizo encrusted mahi, and crab stuffed flounder. All entrees were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Check it out. I think you will be quite pleased.
Excellent service and fabulous food. Highly recommended.
Always EXCELLENT service, food, staff. They cater to your every need!
The Best on the Space Coast by far.
With our rocket scientist and his significant other for a special pre-launch dinner. Excellent food, wine and service. Tapas, salads, main and shared dessert. Scratch made & delicious.
Unfortunately, we waited for almost 30 minutes and had not even been served water. We are locals and had heard great things about Sage. It was a disappointment. We walked out after 30 min when no one had approached our table.
We had a wonderful experience at the Sage Restaurant. Reservations were honored,in fact they had called to confirm.Service was very good. My daughter had left her glasses on the table, and they called us athome to advise us. All 4 of us would recommend this restaurant.
Four of us all liked the food and wine. Don't find strawberry-rhubarb crumble very often and was very good. Bummer not having whip cream. Good service and very accommodating. A bit pricy.
We ate at Sage on Tuesday night. The tapes were on special. They 3 in addition to the menu. We had the three specials plus three more. They were very good and creatively presented. We loved the duck spring rolls, the ahi tuna and the buco wings.
We have been living in Brevard County for over ten years and had recently heard about Sage Bistro so we decided to go for dinner for the first time. All we can say was unbelievable. Our appetizer was artichokes with shrimp and scallops and from there we had the Wiener schnitzel- so tender and Perfectly cooked. That also included the red cabbage and spaetzel. And Of course a glass Of wine. Ambience was great and our server John was too. Our night Tuesday was Tapas night. Even though we didn’t have any we will go again soon to indulge. Highly recommended. Our new Favorite place.
Wonderful meal there as always. Great reservation process, reception, service and food.
I just wish we got the window table for two before the couple that arrived later than we did.
Met some friends the other nite for dinner. Very enjoyable-obvious care in preparation & presentation of food. Would highly recommend in the area. Close to Port Canaveral -Great place for dinner if you are nearby & heading or returning from a cruise.
We’ve known about and passed by Sage for sometime, but had never stopped in. That was our loss. This is a great place with wonderful food, an interesting wine list, served by nice people in a pleasant environment. You won’t be disappointed. Note: I am often critical of restaurants that are too cold and too loud, but Sage gets a thumbs ups on both points!
Outstanding in all categories. Live several hours away, but come here every year!
Excellent service, nice atmosphere, OUTSTANDING food!! Wish this restaurant was in our neighborhood in Colorado. It would fit right in!
