Wendake's Sagamité Restaurant celebrates local culture with its delicious and fresh cuisine focusing on wild game, served in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The savory olive oil smoked trout and the luscious fondant of brie and honey make most welcoming appetizer options. Some of Sagamité Restaurant's specialty entrée dishes include the braised elk cannelloni pasta, the veal liver with shallots in a red wine sauce, the salmon and beef duo of tartar and the chicken and tarragon fettuccine pasta. More casual fare, like the tomato, basil and mozzarella caprese focaccia sandwich, the seasoned and smoked Sagamité bison pizza, are also big hits with diners.For a sweet end to your unique meal at Sagamité Restaurant, dig into the classic crème caramel or the strawberry and blueberry sabayon, both ideal with a cool aperitif or frothy and hot cappuccino.
