I travel to Peoria regularly for work and was pleased to be introduced to Saffron Social - this was my first visit there. The menu options are attractive, and it is a quiet, elegant setting. I did however find both my entree (the halibut) covered with a sauce so overwhelmingly sweet that I couldn't finish it. Much the same with the butter served with bread (the bread itself was fine). The service was not every attentive - it took a good ten minutes to be approached - and rather sophomoric. My waiter's options for a martini were that it be either "dirty or regular," and knew little about the gins available. There's lots of potential here - I hope the restaurant can pick up its game a bit.

Enjoyed the Chef's special of Beef Tips with pasta, mushrooms and gorgonzola. It was amazing. The beef melted in your mouth and the sauce was delicious!

Our meal was absolutely fabulous! The BEST coconut shrimp roll ever. The excellent menu options, craft cocktails and upscale ambiance make this one of our favorite Peoria restaurants. We ordered several courses, and Joanna did an excellent job timing each aspect of our meal. Wonderful evening!

We typically really like Saffron. This was an enjoyable experience with a few “misses”. Orecchiete Bolognese was outstanding, but lobster special a little over-cooked and dry. Our guests’ halibut was very good, as was filet, but grilled asparagus was too charred and mushy. Service was very good, although we did not have the waiter we had requested. Noise level a bit too much! Biggest miss was trying to seat us in the side room which we had asked - in advance - to avoid. Hostess did then move us to the main room as requested. We’ll be back but a few things need to be addressed.

I took my husband here for his birthday. We had a wonderful experience. The food was great, waiter was attentive and kind, and the atmosphere was perfect for an intimate dinner. Get the sushi and crabcakes for your app! The seasonal drinks were refreshing and tasty!

What a fantastic dining experience! We are new to Peoria and were so pleasantly surprised by the scene at Saffron Social! A lovely, elegant dining room, exceptional service, and fantastic food made for a wonderful evening! Highly recommend!

This place was extraordinary! The pork chop was to die for!!! I can’t say enough about this amazing restaurant! It was more than just a meal. It was an experience!

Excellent service and respectful that we wanted time between appetizer, entree and dessert. The appetizers were all wonderful and full of flavor. Three of us ordered the 14 oz ribeye and the 4th ordered Salmon.The salmon was cooked perfectly and the creamed spinach was hot and covered with delicious cheese. All three of the ribeyes were lukewarm at best and the medium rare steak was way overcooked. All of the additional sides, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and lobster bisque soup were cold. The bourbon glazed brussel sprouts were incredibly delicious, but again lukewarm at best. We ordered the bread pudding, chocolate cake, and bag o donuts and its the biggest piece of chocolate cake I've ever seen. All of the desserts were delicious.

Perfectly executed food. Good size portions. Amazing wait staff. An owner who cares about your experience. A chef that wants you to love everything you have while you’re there. I could go on and on about this place. But ultimately, coming from a food centric city for most of my life. This is what dining out should be like. Amazing food and experience all around. Best we have had in Peoria so far by a long shot.
