   Great experience and had a wonderful time enjoying the cocktails and upscale Indian flavors. Our server was excellent and went out of her way to make the occasion special for us including celebrating my Pams birthday. 🎉💕

   My fiancé and I went here for the first time to celebrate our 8 year anniversary. Everything was phenomenal - food, drinks, service, and the ambiance was wonderful. A very fun place to celebrate our time together. A little on the pricier side but you certainly get what you pay for. We will absolutely be back again!

   It was an amazing and wonderful experience, our waitress was fantastic! Every dish we had was outstanding and we cannot wait to come back! It was a perfect way to celebrate our ten year anniversary!

   Food is good but does not justify the prices. Feels like the prices reflect the high rent of the space not necessarily food quality. Service was excellent - our waitress was wonderful.

   First time having brunch at Zaffron and it was absolutely amazing! Food was delicious, fantastic cocktails and our server was amazing and able to answer all of our questions. I brought 2 first time diners from Chicago and they could NOT believe this restaurant is in Milwaukee and fairly new! Absolutely a stellar experience from the host greeting us until our departure.

    We reserved it for our anniversary but we were seated in the middle on two tables and the parties on both sides were very loud. The panir curry was too sweet and the food was just OK for the price.

    New York prices with average food. I went there expecting to be blown away and walked out feeling like I spent three times what I should’ve spent for lunch. Service was poor even though there was hardly a person in the restaurant.

    It is so nice to see this kind of response in Milwaukee. Food flavors were definitely Indian, but with twist in presentation. My cocktail was amazing with a bubble of smoke on top. We will be back.

    With two of our dishes (one of which was labeled an entrée, for $27), the portion size left us shaking our heads. And an “order” of na’an consisted of one piece, cut in half, for $7. The food was good, but the prices and portion sizes were all over the map—not proportionate.

    After reading the great reviews, we arrived with high expectations, and we were rewarded with an amazing meal that exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious, and I can’t say enough about about the chocolate mousse with strawberry cotton candy.

    Every time we have a meal at Saffron, we don't think it will be as good as the last time. Then it's even better. The Mumbai Sour was a delightfully refreshing drink, the service was efficient and polished, and the Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Lamb and Rice dishes make you want to keep coming back. The best date spot in Milwaukee.

    This is a great modern India restaurant. The only complaint is that both our dishes were very spicy - almost forehead sweat but not quite - our waitress indicated after that our dishes - one Lamb and one lobster tail - were medium spice. I wish the menu had mentioned it, and did not ask after dinner if there were other selections with minder spice. I thought the Naan bread was fantastic but a little pricy for the amount served. We had to order extra bread to help cut the spice. If you like spicy food then you will love this restaurant.

    We’ve been there before but it has been many months because we live out of town. Their standards are still exceptional-the ambiance, food & staff are all wonderful. They helped us with food selections for our party of 9 when it came time to order shared plates. Everyone loved their dinner too. We celebrated a birthday and their birthday is outstanding! A table sparkler along with donuts over a dry ice dish. The other dessert was chocolate with a edible stick topped with cotton candy- impressive presentation for the evenings finale.

    The perfect spot for a good meal and a unique spin on some traditional iconic Indian meals. It was not the typical Indian restaurant, which was refreshing. The service was great and the waiter was great with making recommendations that fit our needs. The dining area is quiet small so be prepared for that, and it is always packed! Make reservations well in advance and enjoy a unique dining experience. The dal Makani was divine! Honestly couldn’t find a flaw with any of our choices. Worth getting the Elderflower blossom cocktail! Definitely will be recommending it to friends and taking guests there when they’re in town. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

    What an amazing dining experience! From the moment we walked in we were treated to first class service. They drinks were amazing and unique, they were served with a bubble from a bubble gun! We had a birthday girl at our table and the special surprise at the end of out meal did not disappoint. The place is absolutely beautiful! From the larger than life mural to the blue velvet seats there is something beautiful at every glance. Highly recommend.

    Although the food was good and the owners took care of us well, we waited for an hour for our table which was far from ideal. The food was good but portions were small for the price and nothing stood out as a real WOW moment.
