   I was excited to try here but it was a pretty bad experienced so won’t be returning. Waited and no one came to take a drinks order so had to go to the bar and I wouldn’t say it was overly busy. Same to pay bill, had to go to the bar. Some of the staff look like they’d rather not be there and their attitudes confirm this. There’s one toilet for the bar which is not cleaned at all, about 20 empty toilet rolls amongst other things lying on the floor. A real shame but this is not in any way luxury

   Booked a table in the rooftop garden bar and we’re massively underwhelmed. On arrival at main reception the greeting was professional/polite but aloof. Headed to the roof top bar in the slowest elevator ever. On arrival had a half hearted lack lustre greeting and shown to our (very wobbly ) table. Ordered two cocktails and a water…. Asked for the water twice and I’m still waiting for it. The cocktails were nice the woman that served us did her best. When the wobbly table spilled my cocktail she did suggest we move to another table and brought another cocktail. The loo on thus floor was disgusting.. sanitary bin overflowing, empty toilet roll and no pill chain for the bog. Also no hand soap the container was empty. The decor was 80’s chintz garden furniture and fake foliage. Wouldn’t recommend and we won’t be back. The other half Had looked at booking a room the week before, I’m thankful he didn’t.

   The food menu was limited but food which arrived tasted good. The cocktails were good, but no draft beer for the husband. The venue itself was lovely, beautifully decorated and the glass walls made it that more special. The garden style chairs were not the most comfortable for a long visit. We were staying in the hotel and had planned to stay in the venue all evening however a member of serving staff was quite frankly rude & abrupt and we both decided we didn’t want to stay any longer. We left and spent the rest of the evening in a cozy bar round the corner where we were served with a smile & good vibes. The morning service for breakfast was faultless.

   This place is NOT for dinner. It is for lite bites only, charcuterie, cheese board, pate type dishes. The sour dough was so hard it cut my mouth and when I told the waitress she didn't care and another staff member laughed it off say "I know isn't is awful" The food the staff brought from the kitchen for themselves was much more appealing. Unfriendly staff who looked unhappy to be there. Toilet was a mess, staff member used it before me but done nothing about overflowing bin and rubbish all over the floor. A published menu online would make it clear to people what food to expect before booking, not too much to ask.

   We weren't overwhelmed really. The website is amazing. The entrance level looked gorgeous. The Sacred Garden however felt neglected. The plastic flowers looked washed out, the servers weren't very friendly, the drinks selection wasn't great so we left after one drink.

   Second time we have been. First time after just opened. Staff were very poor then. Put it down to just opening. Back again as thought we should give it a second try. Arrived, sat down then 25minutes later I had to go up to the bar to order 1 beer and a portion of fries. 15mins later my beer arrives. Half an hour later I ask about the fries to be told that the order wasn’t placed and now will be with the kitchen. The 2 servers we had at the start were terrible (same as first visit) Shame as the rooftop bar is a great idea but staff really let it down

   Service was very slow. Took over 20 mins for first drink order and when you only have the table for 1hr 45mins (including food) it was poor. Table was also very small for 4 people to serve food. Did enjoy our time it’s a lovely place but service let it down slightly

   Beautiful setting with fabulous cocktails. All the staff were friendly and delivered great service. ' especially Callum who went out of his way to look after us.
