The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are incredible! We also tried the diner breakfast, the goetta breakfast and the bad boy salmon toast, everything was very good. Pretty good coffee as well. We were definitely be back here for lunch or dinner as the menu looked pretty good too.
Amazing! Everyone here is wonderful. The food is always delicious! A great dining experience!
Nice outdoor seating. Pleasant staff.
We’ve probably eaten here about 10 times in the last year. The menu is constantly being updated, which makes coming back fun. The food is upscale comfort food, and is always delicious. Service was attentive the atmosphere is great. We’ve always had great experiences here. Worth your time and money!
We went to Sacred Beast based on the reviews we read on Open Table and are so glad we did. The service was some of the friendliest and most competent you'll find at any restaurant - from the hosts to the servers it's apparent they like what they do and want their guests to have a good time. Now on to the food. The deviled eggs... oh my gosh! They're the best either of us have ever had with a nice little crunch from crumbled pork rinds (sounds weird, tastes great) to go along with the kick from a spicy red sauce (probably sriracha) they were six little slices of heaven. We both opted for burgers and it's important to know a single is actually a double - two patties - and the double is a three-patty monster. The burgers were exceptional - my wife especially liked the one she chose which came with a type of sauce under the bun. I went traditional cheeseburger with fresh jalapenos added. The fries were wonderful as well and we both enjoyed a couple unique IPAs we haven't found anywhere else. All in all, it was a great dinner and we will definitely return the next time we visit Cincinnati.
Went to Sacred Beast while staying in OTR and attending a concert at The Cincinnati Music hall. The restaurant was bustling and busy with a very positive vibe and not too pretentious or loud to stifle conversation. My wife, son, and his girlfriend all enjoyed the food and had a good time while dining.
I do have to rave about the Chicken Schnitzel as it was better than I had expected. I had to try the root vegetable hash, which was amazing.
Our Waiter, was wonderful as well and was very responsive and professional.
Will Kamholtz was especially solicitous and helpful.
Fantastic food. Great recommendations from our server. Good times had by all.
Loved the food and service. The prices are high, IMO.
Great restaurant and burgers are excellent. The only thing is the burgers are very dressed with heavy “special sauce” and heavy on the bread. Can be overwhelming to the burger itself, if you not expecting it. Great restaurant though!!
Went for brunch and it was terrific. First and foremost the Bloody Mary was one of the best I’ve had. It wasn’t too hot and had a subtle flavor of pickle. Could have been from the spear or a little added juice. I had corn beef hash. I can’t say it was the best I ever had but it was pretty darn good. I should have asked them to poach the eggs. Oh well. My friend had the cheesy eggs. Fortunately she wasn’t real hungry and I got to eat some of those too. I ordered a side order of toast. It was sourdough and perfect for mopping up what the fork couldn’t. Last but certainly not least they take a reservation. No wait, great food, good service, beautiful morning....
We will be back nice place great food and staff
Sacred Beast never dissapoints! Consistantly great food and outstanding service. Can't enough of those Deviled Eggs!
Corned beef hash and gotta meals were both delicious. Service was attentive bu not overbearing. A bit noisy.
Cute place. VERY loud, really too loud. Food was absolutely delicious. Our party had the schnitzel, smoke salmon sandwich, shaved salad (unique and interesting and very good), hash browns with neck gravy, and the huge meatball (garlicky and delicious). The glasses of wine are super pricy with limited options (only one chardonnay on menu and it was $10 for a portion so small we had to ask server if it was a full glass...we were told they measure an exact 5 ounce glass). So lots of points for the great food, alcohol is a rip off.
Overall this place was very good. The space is a lot bigger than I expected for its location. The food was really good. And the service was great. We were given loads of recommendations for our drinks and food. And everything was good!
Excellent service and very good food. Great place for lunch.
Really great cocktails and imaginative foods. The deviled eggs are a must!
Music festival in town, we came to visit from Indy!
This place rocks! Amazing food super fresh! You won’t find this everywhere folks, don’t miss out! Service was as it should be, nothing short or pleasing people!
Very inventive menu. Delicious food. Fun atmosphere. Will definitely return, thank you!!
The menu a bit advant guard for the older generation....
We are in our 80"s. Very interesting cocktails.
Everything priced right!
Great cocktails, great vibe, great food.
Simple menu but the way they do it was amazing.
As always, the food was excellent! We try something different every time and have never been disappointed. I had the cheeseburger this time, my wife the meatball, and the kids the pancakes, fantastic! We are outside, some noisy traffic, but that is to be expected.
The food is amazing. It is a nice mix of French cooking, with southern flare. Deviled eggs and chicken thighs are my most favorite dishes, and they have twisty versions on the menu! We opted for the 5 egg omelette. It was a fluffy cloud from heaven with either roasted red peppers or pimentos. Either way it was divine with goat cheese and béchamel type sauce. You can add lavender simple syrup to your ice tea or lemonade. Got the tea, and now I will want it every day. A handsome, red-haired fella was our server. He was impeccably groomed but not a snob. He was exceptionally kind and attentive. We will definitely visit again when in Cincinnati. Thank you.
This has become our go-to restaurant. It has such a good vibe and the friendliest service to be found. The food is always surprisingly great. Everything is thought out to the finest detail. The chef owners are always there, guaranteeing that all will go well. So far, we can’t find one flaw!
The wedge salad was lifted far above its ordinary status to gourmet level; the salmon and the chicken legs and thigh entrees were cooked to perfection. The chocolate pot de creme which we all shared the perfect conclusion to a outstanding meal.
Waiter was perfect, food delicious, presentation faultless.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere—all the things we love.
Very good food at a good price served with good service. Cocktails were very well made. Pork rinds and shishito peppers are an awesome appetizer. Chicken leg and thigh were well seasoned with nice crispy skin.
Only miss was the brownie for dessert. Tasted pretty manufactured, especially with the plastic cup of vanilla "ice cream".
We stopped in on Labor Day. It was very busy; our first time at Sacred Beast Diner after trying to go a few times before. Inside was a pleasant atmosphere, however it was very loud and not in a good way. After some consideration all four at our table ordered burgers. When they arrived we were surprised to find out that a single has double patties and a double has triple patties. We weren't told this by our server and would have appreciated the info. It would have impacted what we chose. That said, the burgers were very good. The food was extremely slow in arriving. Our server stopped by to tell us. We were all quite famished so I asked for a basket of bread - he said he could put in an order of toast, but it would also take awhile to arrive. So we waited - I wish I had thought to time it. I would recommend this restaurant but not enthusiastically. We may have caught them on a bad day.
My family was meeting and having lunch with my daughter’s boyfriend’s family. There were eight of us in total. Service was good, friendly and attentive. The music playing was a bit loud where we were sitting for good conversation. The food was good but a little pricey. I enjoyed the rib plate (half rack) with a very good rub. My youngest daughter ordered the French toast but was smothered in blueberry syrup. My wife ordered crab cakes with a salad and enjoyed it. My oldest daughter ordered the salmon which tasted good but was small and came with no sides. She was very disappointed. Wine pours are tiny! Overall was ok.
Sacred Beast remains one of the north end of OTR's hidden gems, for the moment.
The restaurant is always consistently (and currently pleasantly) full, but not so much as to make it too painful to get a reservation. Being a fairly large restaurant it has no lack of flexibility in seating whether you are an intimate two-top or a table for sixteen (though you might want to call ahead with sixteen).
My wife and I stop in regularly, often for brunch, but for the occasional dinner; and as such I feel comfortable in noting that the staff has been consistent since the place opened: ever-present but not overbearing. You will rarely find yourself with an empty drink (unless you want).
But, if we get around to the real core of any restaurant: the food. Sacred Beast has a beautiful core menu: one of the best burgers you'll find around the Cincy metro, great diner food (the neckbone gravy with hashbrowns or the cheesy eggs are fantastic), but many of their standouts are on the appetizer menu. For (well) under ten bucks you can get six deviled eggs with picked mustard seeds...highly recommended; if you are a lover of offal, you will find the chicken liver toasts entirely to your taste-savory and delicious with some cornichons to clear the palates of those less adventurous. And, if you feel just a touch deeper-pocketed (and we are still talking shallow deeper pockets) then don't skip the fois gras torchon: somehow (and you can see a big chunk of the kitchen from no matter where you sit) they manage to make an existential torchon of fatty goose liver (don't worry about your own).
Always delicious. I just really wanted a burger and this hit the spot. One of my favorites in the city.
High quality food and attentive service in a relaxed setting. Great cocktails. I would definitely return.
Great, fresh food! The lemon ricotta pancakes are truly the best pancakes I have ever had! And if you love pork belly you will be in heaven. Great place, great food, great service!!!
Fries and curds app was great and goetta was good but eggs were ordered over medium but were cooked over easy. Also the breakfast sandwich fell apart before I could even get it out of the foil wrap. Food took way to long to come out for a restaurant that was only half full. Waiter was very courteous and professional
Amazing food and service. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and being able to see the chefs cook from where we were sitting. Food was so fresh and different than your average breakfast food (went in the morning). Will definitely be back!
Wonderful service and great food !
We liked the restaurant but didn't LOVE the food. Perhaps because of our own taste preferences. Wedge salad used goat cheese instead of blue cheese which totally changed the flavor. Twice cooked rib eye was done perfectly and a great looking piece of meat. Menu said that it had tarragon butter but instead of a topping of tarragon butter there was so much tarragon that it totally overpowered the flavor of the meat. I couldn't finish mine. I did ask if you could get it without the tarragon and they said yes. Knowing that, I think it would be a really good steak for the future. However, it's the hamburgers going by that I would go back to get. They looked fabulous.
