Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Sabroso + Sorbo offers a vibrant atmosphere and "amazing" service, with standout dishes like the "best" Brussels sprouts and "phenomenal" carrot cake. However, some diners noted inconsistencies with menu availability and wait times. Despite these challenges, the flavorful cuisine and inviting vibe make it a memorable experience.

Hadn't had tapas in a while and was looking forward to it. Reserved a table for more than two hours prior to an event we were to attend, and arrived early to make sure we weren't late for our event. Waitress took our order, then we didn't see her again for over an hour, until we tracked her down to ask why everyone else who arrived later was already served. She returned to state that the kitchen made an error. We don't believe that to be true as she never checked on us even once during the hour-plus we waited for food, as if she forgot we were there. Another twenty minutes later, what arrived was completely wrong. A salad with no cheese that had cheese (one of us is lactose intolerant and ordered to accommodate that); the humus was supposed to come with potato pave' - a layered potato dish, but instead came with bread (she had also been told one of us had a gluten allergy). When we asked about the potato pave', we were told it was "potato bread," as if potato pave' and bread are the same thing (I am aware in French pave' can mean a type of small round loaf - this is not what this menu meant). And it wasn't even potato bread, it was plain sliced bread). Her unwillingness to admit mistakes or acknowledge what were were receiving was not what was on the menu was disappointing. The third dish was shrimp. We were told there were seven. There were six (not a big deal at all) but they were merely sitting in a 4 inch wide small dish, undercooked, room temperature, and "tossed" on the table at us. We specifically booked there because all the menus online looked appealing and reasonably priced...but the menu offered in the restaurant was not even close to any of the ones we found including the current one listed on their own website. We truly appreciate the manager offering to resolve the situation, but it didn't change our experience, as we barely ate. I worked in the restaurant business and respect the hard work involved, and it pains me to say, but I would not recommend.

The food was good and the service was fantastic but they ran out of some of the items on the menu and it was a saturday night. What we did receive was good but we did not get to try our desired dishes. perhaps next time

Very disappointed in the quality and taste of your food. There were several items that the kitchen was out of that was listed on the menu. The on line menu was very different as well. Not was I was expecting at a very upscale hotel. I would not go back nor recommend to anyone. The waitress was the only positive experience and she apologized several times.

The food was very good and the vibe was perfect. Unfortunately there was not much staff to work the food and drink service and we waited a long time to be seated and had to keep going up to the bar for drinks since no one would come to our table.

Honestly the food was great! The service was not our waitress came to our table 3 times once to give water (never even asked if we wanted anything else to drink so we only got water) 2nd time to take our order and 3rd to give us our check which we had to get up and go ask for the check. Never even checked to see if our food was ok. Which it was the food was wonderful. I would not go back I can get good food lots of other places and good service. It was not busy there were maybe 6 tables.

Waited 75 minutes for food. Waited 15 minutes to initially be greeted by a server. We also had reservations which was pointless. I’m assuming they are having a staffing issues.

Giving it a 3 stars because the waiter did what she could to help. It took us an hour to get our appetizers. After waiting for almost two hours, I was told the food I ordered was not available. But later was delivered to my table. Very confusing night.

Overall it’s a very nice place but service was truly lacking. Our experience was probably not so great being that it was the same day at the Eagles parade. We spent 3.5 hours in the restaurant. Our food didn’t come out until almost an hour and having to ask the server many times when the food was to be expected. Overall rating is a 5 out of 10. Best dish of the night was the Octopus appetizer and the carrot cake was phenomenal. Definitley recommend those if you do visit. I don’t think I would come back again.

First and foremost, the Brussel sprouts might be the best I’ve ever had. Overall, I enjoyed myself. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend and come back.

The food at this establishment was incredibly disappointing—completely bland, unappetizing, and lacking any form of presentation. Despite the poor quality, the prices were outrageously high, making the experience even worse. The service was equally unsatisfactory, with staff showing little regard for customer care. I would not return to this place under any circumstances and strongly advise others to avoid it. Additionally, there is nothing authentically Spanish about the cuisine offered here, which adds to the overall disappointment.
