Service was impeccable and the restaurant is decorated beautifully. It’s very clean in there. The food was good. We had to tostones rellenos, pizza empanadillas, ropa vieja and pernil. The meats were seasoned wonderfully however the rice is not what expected. It tasted like minute rice and did not really boast any of the traditional pr rice flavors. I would opt for rice and habicuelas when I return.

Worst restaurant experience I have had. Waited an hour and 15 minutes just to get water. One of my group had to wait an hour and a half. Then after that half of the tables food came out, we had no silverware and food became cold. Then the other half of the tables food came and was still missing one plate. Will never go back. Food wasn’t good and service terrible. Will never recommend, ever.

I can't believe I have not yet been to this place! It was outstanding. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the sampler appetizer. Our server was absolutely perfectly wonderful. Our group was just so impressed with her.

Lovely lunch date. Had the best nachos I’ve ever enjoyed. The cocktails were delicious and I loved the friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back as the food was unique and fresh!

This was our second time at this restaurant and it wasn’t a great experience. We only ended up ordering appetizers because our server was so busy that he never came back to take our dinner order.

We had reservations for 7:30 PM, but our table was not ready when we arrived. Not a huge deal as they were busy and we only had to wait about 10 mins to be seated. We waited a little while for the waiter to arrive (he apologized for the delay) and decided to place our food and drink orders together since we were hungry. They’d run out of multiple drinks that we wanted to order and the drinks we did receive varied in taste - some of them being undrinkable. I could have seen past all this, however, after having waited TWO HOURS for our food to arrive, our waiter told us they hadn’t even begun cooking our meals. We closed out our check and went somewhere else to eat. Food looked good but not worth a 2+ hour wait and mediocre drinks.

Out of basic items to make basic cocktails. Wait time for service (start to finish) was extreme (3 hours). Food - steaks not cooked to request, food requested not recieved. Just over all bad experience. It seems like a mom/pop place which we normally love and would definitely give some leeway too but it was just too many wrong things to make it ok.

Sabor made for a delightful Christmas Eve dinner! We all ordered different items, and they were ALL good. There were just the right number of customers ... not to many, but enough for a buzz. Can't wait to return!

Pains me to write this review but it’s necessary given the absurdity of the entire experience. Attempted to contact the restaurant after the fact to discuss but attempts went unanswered. 11 guests (5 children all 9y/o and above, 6 adults) - the ordeal lasted 2.5 hrs with food being delivered in the last 15 minutes. A birthday celebration of our families matriarch resulted in hungry and upset kids, a $315.00 bill (which we paid) and an crying grandma. The food was over cooked and lacked any kind of flavor. Steaks that chewed like rubber, burgers that were dry and inedible. At no time during the long wait did anyone come and explain to us why things were taking as long as they did - we had to inquire and ask the kids food be prioritized as they were hungry and upset. It was unbelievable to us the bill was delivered without an apology nor any kind of offer to make amends for the less than desirable experience. In summary, a 2.5 hour dinner where food was delivered after the 2 hour mark - food was tasteless and over cooked and a $315 (paid) bill as added insult (which included 18% tip) would not recommend this place to anyone - service was terrible, food was tasteless -

We were in town for the night in Milwaukee flying out in the morning and found this place on open table. My wife’s a pescatarian and my kiddo is real picky so it’s hard to find good food places that accommodate. We arrived and checked in and first opinion was the place looked tired. And in need of a fresh new style face lift. The host was very welcoming and nice so that’s half the battle with dining pleasant staff that are attentive so plus so far! The host got together very old and falling apart menus and took us to a table in a dining room 1/3 full. About ten minutes later our server showed up and apologized for the time lapse and she was also very nice and pleasant. We ordered apps and my daughters hamburger and drinks and looked over the menu which looked very interesting and we were excited to try some of these dishes that we haven’t seen on any other restaurants menu before! Took ten minutes to get drinks we ordered our entrees and my wife said I bet all of it comes out at the same time. She was right but we were ok with that since we had to get up very early in the morning and it was now 6:30 pm on a Sunday. The food was amazing or least favorite was the shrimp empanadas. Everything was cooked perfectly! I had the Mero which was excellent and the yuca sticks were awesome, my wife had tacos vegetarianos which she loved and our other app was tostones rellenos with shrimp which was amazing and of course kiddo burger and fries cooked perfectly! Diamond in the ruff with great prices will definitely go to again if ever in neighborhood. My recommendations are get rid of out of place old looking decorations and any carpet in the place, fresh paint and more beautiful artwork like you already have some of on the walls. Most importantly get rid of all those falling apart menu holders and just print menus on bright pastel card stock your menu and when they get dirty throw away and replace with new! No one wants a dirty menu that is falling apart! Thanks

Sabor was the unexpected highlight of my weekend. We chanced upon it and made a reservation. The food was very well prepared, generous in portion, and incredibly delicious. The staff was very hospitable. I will definitely return.

45mins after ordering no food. Waitress didn’t check on us and another waitress came up 30mins in and asked if we got our order in yet. Ended up leaving without eating. If you’re having staffing issues, Don’t take reservations and don’t seat over your kitchens capacity. This establishment is poorly managed.

To be fair, it was our first time there so take this with a grain of salt. We arrived and only two other tables and one space at the bar were occupied. In spite of a low client count, it took a half an hour for a server to come to our table. None of these times are exaggerations. I ordered a Bloody Mary. It never came until I asked about it again. We were told our food was coming shortly. The place got fairly crowded. We saw 2, yes 2 tables get actual food. One of them was clearly upset getting the wrong food. After an hour we asked again where our food was. Never came. An hour and ten minutes later we were starving and fed up. We left more money than we should have and left. They tried to stop us saying our food was almost ready. We had lost all faith in the place. We will never, ever go there again. I strongly recommend you go somewhere else. It was the worst service we have ever received.

Our reservation was not their when we arrived. Appetizer we ordered was not the appetizer we received. Ordered drinks we never received. An item from my dish was missing from my plate. Apparently the restaurant was short staffed was the explanation we were given. Nothing was accommodated on the bill for these issues.

It was very crowded on Saturday night, tables very close to one another, people roaming around and children running all over. Food was fabulous and our server was very attentive though it took awhile at first.

This was my husband's and I first time at this restaurant, we went on a Monday so the restaurant was not busy. The food was flavorful and unique. The waiter was attentive, it was pricey, but worth a different eating experience, the food tasted authentically ethnic.
