Experience Sabor Cocina Mexicana, A Modern Mexican Restaurant. Using high quality all natural ingredients, organic and seasonal when possible: Fresh wild caught seafood, corn fed Midwestern beef, Jidori free ranged all natural fed locally raised chicken, Salmon Creek Farms wheat and barley fed pork as well as homemade tortillas. Very disappointing they now charge for chips and salsa. Seems petty. Especially when paying the massive mark up on alcohol. If the owner reads this please find another way to sharpen your profit.

Have been going here for years - about once every month or two. Food is always very good. Service usually good too and ambience is great. Unfortunately, they made the very bold and unpopular decision to start charging $3.50 for each order of chips and salsa (previously free like virtually every Mexican restaurant) AND they charge $1.50 for a salsa refill. Not even included if you order one of their $20+ meals. I get it at a lower margin / lower end quick serve place, but doesn’t make sense here at all. I feel bad for the wait staff who now have to tell every table the bad news.

The ambience and service is very nice however the food was just OK. May of the dishes including the fish tacos and the ceviche were dry. In addition, they now charge for chips and salsa. With the prices they charge (highest in the city), you would think they could afford to give chips and salsa at no charge.

Very disappointed. They have decided to start charging for both chips and salsa. Every basket and every tiny bowl of salsa. Never got our tortillas with our meal. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

What a delightful surprise this restaurant was. We didn’t know what we getting into, but this restaurant was a delight on every level. And the food was so delicious.

It was my mother-in-laws 97 Birthday. All she wanted was a cheese enchilada. It wasn’t on the menu and they wanted to charge $20 for a special order. She ended up with broth soup.
