Our late Sunday night dinner was delicious. We especially enjoyed the pulpo appetizer and spaghetti carbonara.
Our waitperson was attentive and we enjoyed sitting next to the open window.
Thanks for a delicious Sunday dinner
Great service. Good food, wine and cocktails. Will definitely be back!
Great service. Delicious food. Very child friendly.
The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and my friend and I had a great time! I can't wait to come back with my husband and try more dishes!
We had an excellent meal...very kid friendly.. Risotto is amazing!!!
Been here a few times and the food quality has consistently declined. The $10 pizzas on Wednesday should be called $10 saltines with dried out toppings. Go down the street to Reno and save the hassle
Lovely, Delicious Brunch served by efficient servers.
Saba has a really nice vibe.
The open concept, along with the large windows makes it very welcoming.
The staff are friendly and quick to fill up your water, which is always good.
The decor was akin to a southern home, which I liked.
We ordered the french toast and the waffles, both reasonably priced.
The waffles were a bit dry, but I believe it is because they make it to be crunchy, which is not what I was looking for.
The french toast, however, was really good and highly recommended.
Their juices are super fresh as well and I just want more of it.
I was expecting a lot more but since I read the review, well like they said. Food was ok. Cocktail was meh. Simple drink as gin and tonic they could have done it better. I ordered bloody Mary but couldn’t finish it. And they should put an air refresher in the toilet. It smells bad.
The food was amazing, and we loved the wine selection! Such a great ambiance and great service!
The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive and helpful. Will definitely go back.
wonderful food and service, worth the visit. will return again.
This was the second time we were at Saba.
Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food (pastas and risotto) this time around (pizza was great last time).
We tried both the risotto and a few of the seafood pastas, all of which were really disappointing - the fish and seafood in the pastas were very stale and rubbery, the sauces were very basic, the risotto was undercooked (not even al-dente).
We were here a few weeks ago and tried the pizzas which were wonderful, and the appetizers were great both times (arancini, octopus, calamari, etc.).
Food was good and service was great…except they almost came too frequently if that’s possible. Portions would good and happy hour drinks were a plus. Definitely would recommend.
The upbeat fashion show runway style music was a bit too loud.
I can’t say enough good things about Saba. I’ve tried so many things on the menu and have NEVER been disappointed. I think the prices are reasonable, the portions can be large enough to take home if you get an appetizer and the drinks menu is substantial and has something for everyone. The service is incredible and the staff are truly amazing. I always feel welcome and appreciated when I come in. Saba is a wonderful neighborhood gem that I will keep coming back to.
Great service from Garth. Went here for dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Food was good and location was great.
Lm Ben namm
Was very underwhelming. The pricing was a bit much for the quality of service and food. Wine needed to be sent back because of it being corked. Food did not have the flavor you’d expect. Would not go back. Only ordered wine and two apps. After that we did not want to give the entrees a chance.
Pretty good food but not outstanding. A few missteps: salty sauce on a fish dish, room temperature pasta sauce. Wait staff was attentive but also a few missteps. Would give it a second try.
This is my second time at Saba. While I really enjoyed the calamari and the pollo Romano, the Gnocchi was too salty. This is the second time I have had pasta at Saba and both times the salt in the pasta sauce was overwhelming. If they toned down the salt levels in their pesto sauce I would 100% eat it again, because the texture of the Gnocchi was fantastic. if you do decide to come here I would recommend ordering the Saba Spritz, it was there perfect summer drink and I could help but order two when I was there.
I love Saba. This is my go to place in the neighborhood. It’s consistent, good value, and just nice enough without trying too hard.
This place was cute! The pizzas were delicious and their spritz left me wanting more! Nice place to catch up with a friend or go on date!
Great food. Great service. We will definitely be back!
Love this neighborhood spot. Great service. Strong drinks. Scrumptious eats.
Seriously watered down drinks and our server rushed us. We went elsewhere afterward and aren't excited to come back.
Well...we went on a night (Sat) where there was a surprise 60th bday party. And the 20 people in two tables acted as if they had a private room. Standing and screaming in the restaurant and being completely obnoxious.
That, we shook our heads at and commiserated with the table next to us about. We were both on a date night and could not hear eachother above the obnoxious din. And questioned why we were seated in a section where there would be a 20 person party.
All that aside. The steak was overcooked. I ordered medium and got well done. I returned it and they brought me another well done steak. Tough. No good. Server apologized and agreed it was well done. Didn't take anything off the bill. The Cauliflower was the star of the show!! My husband's amatriciana was a pile of red sauce on pasta. There was no guanciale to be found and should NOT have been called an amatriciana. It was laughable. Will not be going back because of the food. The server did his best and we did not penalize him despite waiting 20 minutes for a replacement entree. We got the hell out of there as soon as we could. :( A total disappointment for $190!!!
This was our first time back since before the pandemic and we were excited and then sadly disappointed. We had mussels and Brussels for our appetizer. The mussels were excellent. The Brussels were soggy and cold. We ordered two pastas for our mains: pappardelle (described with
sauteed guanciale, roasted onions, pomodoro sauce, pecorino romano) and lobster ravioli. The pappardelle was good not great. No seasoning and no meat. The lobster ravioli was cold and over cooked in a watery sauce. And my husband had shells in his! We loved this place pre-pandemic so we really were disappointed by our experience. The service, though, was warm and inviting. We had a lovely server and some good wine! Just bummed about the food.
I’ve been here once before and thought the food was excellent! However the service is less than desirable. I thought I would give it one more chance but the service was as slow as it was the first time I came in. AND both times there was literally 3 or 4 tables in the whole restaurant so I’m not sure why there are so many employees standing around. When I first got seated I waited maybe 15 minutes before I had someone take my order since no one came over to introduce themselves as my server. But even at that point I had to semi-aggressively wave someone over who really looked like he was doing his best not to make eye contact with me. Overall, please hire more attentive staff because it really takes away from the whole experience of the restaurant even if the food is great.
Service was great!!!! The food was a little bland for my Italian American taste.
Mediocre Italian food. The best part of my meal was the tiramisu. My friend got the caprese salad and the green tomatoes were completely unripe. The spaghetti with meatballs was fine, completely edible, but not much different than what a home chef could make. The happy hour was a good deal and the pre-fixe menu was a good value.
Food was amazing, but the lobster ravioli serving size is more like an appetizer than a main dish.
Love Saba - consistently great service and food!
Food was great
Service was not
Felt like the waiter did not want to be there. Very noisy
Love Saba. Great happy hour and always consistent
Went for Mother's Day brunch and my wife LOVED her whole meal. She started with a glass of Prosecco, then had (what she described as) the best French Toast ever. Also a Side of sausage which I think was homemade. Yummy. I had a meat & cheese try (really good but a bit overpriced) as I'm doing Keto. My daughter had a veggie omlette and really liked it. We will be going back to try dinner soon, as we can imagine it'll be just as good as this!
This place is great. Good food, value, ambience, and service.
Saba is always my go to place for great food, great drinks and a great vibe. The food is always fresh and the staff is so kind.
Amazing! Food and Wine Selection perfect! It was vibing!
Very nice place, loved the service and even the food. Amazing!
