Saar is not good— it’s GREAT! Our food was decadently delicious. Best Indian food ever! The service was impeccable. And the restaurant is beautiful as well as (my late mother would be so proud) so clean! Even the rest room! We are definitely coming back! I’m thrilled to have found a go-to restaurant in the theater district. But I also will dine at Saar even when I’m not seeing a Broadway show.

The food was delicious and different from other Indian restaurants. Best bites of the night were the Beetroot tikki and sweet and sour eggplant.

Second time coming here. Food was absolutely delicious. Kamir was a great waiter. Comfortable ambiance.

The cocktails were average served in bizarre animal shapes and sea shells. The food was good not great. The desserts were way too sweet. The pre theater price was fair. The portions were large.

We went to Saar before a show and selected the prix fix theater option. While the food was good, the quantity was way too much for us. Next time, and we would return, we will order off the regular menu and share the dishes.

We went here to celebrate a special Birthday. The ambiance and food is average. Service was all right. If you are going to dine out on an average night this place will work but I won’t recommend for special occasions.
