Full disclosure, we did not stay for food and honestly, they may be good but were having a very bad day. It was incredibly hot outside and when we arrived, their A/C was on but struggling mightily. It was very hot in the restaurant, which is not something you really want when they're serving raw fish. They had a couple of fans on, but it was not really enough. We were sitting there for about 10 minutes with nobody coming over to us (we were one of two tables occupied in the space) when someone walked to the door and put a sign on it. They did not say anything to us about the sign. We sat there for another couple minutes before one of our party looked at the sign and saw it said "Cash Only. System Down." Based on that, the fact they didn't feel the need to check in on us or alert us to the cash only update, and the heat, we decided to go elsewhere for food.

The restaurant was extremely cold- the coldest I’ve ever felt inside a restaurant. Granted, it was very cold outside, but I would expect to be able to remove my winter coat while eating. We had to eat as quickly as possible because we were so uncomfortable. They were not trying to rectify the issue at all, and did not apologize for the temperature. Their delivery driver sat in the corner watching movies in a winter jacket, gloves, and winter hat! The rolls were rolled very loosely. Some were decent, one had a very bizarre combination of tastes. Overall, very disappointing. We will not be returning. Please get some space heaters or offer free Mizo soup when your customers appear miserably cold.

Just ok sushi. I've had much better and I've had worse. The fish just didn't seem super fresh. Probably wouldn't return. The service was friendly and the location was casual and low key.

I had OPENTABLE reservations for my best friend's 40th birthday for Saturday, 4.22.17. The restaurant did NOT hold a table for us, which meant our party of 8 at 8 p.m. had to find another restaurant to accommodate us (we stood in the doorway for 20 minutes while 2 people called around to different restaurants in the area). Needless to say, we had an unpleasant and uncomfortable time at S@kura, with the staff was NOT acting apologetic and they did not put forth any effort in trying to accommodate us. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. The event nearly ruined a milestone birthday and rare girls' night out! Silom 12 (BYOB Thai cuisine near Milwaukee and Oakley) saved the day and is highly recommended for their service and food!
