The server was misting most of the time, The food was just ok. It is a truly beautiful location, just sad to see the food and service not in any way to compare. Hope it gets better to emphasize the area.

Every was wonderful. Hard to find any restaurant that serves a $10 old fashion with such a generous pour. That alone would get it 5 stars. But the food was great, service was excellent - never felt rushed or hurried. Just a really good experience. We had hoped to have a pre-dinner drink outside but the rains changed our plans. Just means we’ll have to come back.

Service was incredibly terrible. At one point our server disappeared for a good length of time. As we were looking for her another server said she would assist and our server was doing something else ( the whole way the situation was handled was odd). The food runner was clueless when bringing food out and didn’t communicate our additional needs to anyone to be handled. The busser refused to bring Togo containers. Everyone seemed to stay in their own lane and the dining experience was not seamless. There seemed to be no manager on duty or manager assistance to any staff members. I’m incredibly disappointed in my experience.

The food was delicious. We had the sliders to start, and then the ribeye steak and the rockfish. The sliders were very flavorful, and the steak was seared very nicely. The rockfish was delicious although they were a little bit tight on the portion size. For dessert we had the bananas foster sundae, which was the perfect ending to a tasty, enjoyable meal. We really like the Rye Street Tavern and have been there many times. One thing that would improve the overall experience is if they allowed you to reserve outdoor or indoor seating online. We ended up sitting indoors, but if we had wanted to sit outdoors, they were talking well over an hour wait. It would’ve been nice to know that when we made the reservation.

We had a reservation at 7 and were sat around 7:20/25pm. We had a server come to give us water and stated that our server would be right with us. But, at least 15-20 mins passed without anyone coming. The person who I came with went to get the manager who immediately came to our table to get us drinks on the house. I ordered the watermelon sugar high (with watermelon, cucumber, lime, vodka and grenadine and am sure I was brought a different drink. There was a Smokey taste to it with no hints of anything I listed and tasted like a berry drink. Upon looking at the menu it tasted like two in the morning (gin, blackberry rosemary, lemon, elderflower tonic). So I told our waiter when she finally came. Who proceeded to bring me the same drink again. I did not drink it as much as I tried to dilute the smoke taste. It was not a good drink to begin with! My friend stuck with the pasta dish he normally gets (he has been several times while this was my first) and I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. It was extremely dry and too charred for me. I love char but this did not taste good and lacked sauce on the sandwich to help make it go down easily. The fries were okay, nothing special, but absolutely not worth the $19 for this plate. Our service was very stagnant, we asked for dessert menu and another 10-15 mins passed and by the time the sever came back to get our order we weren’t sure if to just leave given how long everything took. Dessert was fine but we weren’t told at first there wasn’t anymore strawberry shortcake (which is what my friend wanted) which lead him to re-look again. Overall, while the ambiance was nice and it was very popular, I’m not sure I would go again. Luckily I found parking as I was about to exit the area to find elsewhere but it is a very small lot for how big the restaurant is and the people it can hold. I had read so many great reviews too prior to going so I was really looking forward to this but was disappointed.

It had a great vibe and energy. The waiter and servers were nice and the food was DELICIOUS! The indoor and outdoor option was really nice. The only thing that wasn’t great was it took too long to get our appetizers. When they did come, they weren’t hot but still tasty. Had they been hot they probably would have been amazing. I’ll definitely go back.

The hostesses-both of them were absolutely rude. If it wasn’t for the live music and beautiful scenery they’re off putting attitudes and energy would’ve ruined the whole 65th bday celebration before we even started. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful though. And the live band was amazing. Service was a bit slow. I would come back but never again to celebrate something. It was quite embarrassing

Reservation was for 10 pm, we arrived at 10:07 pm and requested a table outside because the restaurant was a bit chilly. The table we were escorted to on the first level outside had patrons already sitting there so the hostess recommended a table upstairs outside. We were seated for roughly 10 min before I asked a server if they knew who was assigned to our table. They asked if there was anything they could relay on our behalf (food, drinks, etc)- my response was “yes, please relay that we would appreciate service”. The server returned with water for the table and that they were unsure as to who our server would be but someone would be over shortly. After another 10 min, a server showed up saying they would “get us started”. When I asked if they would be the server for the evening, the response was “no because I’m about to get off”. Nevertheless we gave drink and food orders, and I asked them to send over a manager. 30 min after we were seated with only water on our table, we left. We encountered the server and manager (who never came to the table) on our way out the restaurant. After listening to my concerns and to remedy the situation, the manager gave their card……their card 😐
