Food and drinks were delicious, Service was lacking even though the place wasn’t that busy. Good experience overall.
I came here for my birthday celebration and it was BEYOND impressive. We all had an amazing night eating, laughing and enjoying our time there.
The food was INCREDIBLE! The chef came out and talked to us about one of his newest menu items, the spare ribs.
(Which was delicious)
The drinks were top knotch. It was so much fun and a wonderful night to remember. Thank you Rye River Social!!
My wife and I both enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts appetizer,. She loved her Duck BLT, and I enjoyed my short tibs. We had several different cocktails that were also enjoyable. The service was excellent!!!
The food was amazing, especially the specials of the week (monkey bread and chefs Benedict). Our party of 5 dined inside and the ambience was nice. Huge high ceilings, lots of light, lots of love plants, wood details and low volume of sound playing throughout our visit. The food came out rather quickly and was hot and fresh! The only downside to our visit was the time it took for drinks to arrive. We were rather patient but others around us not so much. One table ended up leaving because drinks took so long, however we were willing to wait it out as we were enjoying the last of our food and the conversation being held around the table. All in all - Overall great brunch service and will definitely be back!
we had a great time! drinks were great and food was amazing!
Great food and such a nice space!
Been there twice. First time with 3 people, the second time with 8. Both times everyone loved their meal and all meals were different. We'll be going again.
Food was really delicious. We had the burrata, blue crap dip, and local bread basket for apps. They were all really good but I would probably skip the bread basket next time. For dinner we had shrimp tacos, the market beef (it was wagu 12oz steak with fried onions), and the black truffle carbonara; all were excellent. Our server was great, super friendly and attentive to our group and made some good recommendations on food and drinks. They have a small but super cute patio and decor inside is great. I would definitely recommend and will be back.
Amazing and will deff return
Service was terrible, but food was delightful. Only ordered off Happy Hour menu to help keep cost down. Was told we couldn’t order a bottle of wine due to “low inventory” when we arrived at 4:445pm, but we were welcome to purchase by the glass. Then watched it be served to multiple tables, which only makes me assume there was enough for us to order a bottle as requested.
We had a birthday celebration here and it was the perfect venue for our multigenerational group of foodies and one picky eater! From the craft cocktails to the decadent desserts there was something for everyone!
A big thanks to our server Nolan. He was fun and kept things moving along without ever rushing us.
We will be back! I would love to see what the fabulous chef could do with some vegan entrees.
This was our first time at Rye River Social, it’s a very cool place with amazing drinks, the food was delicious! Will definitely be back again soon!
Rye River Social as great!! We had amazing service from our server Lorelei, and from the manager Sarah!! Both were super friendly and attentive. My wife had the Croque Madame, and I had the Three Little Pigs Breakfast Sandwich. We also split an order of the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. We loved all of three, and the cocktails the we tried!!! Mixed well by the bartender Riley!!
We’ll definitely come back again to try the dinner menu!!!
The food was amazing and the service was wonderful! All around great experience!
Very good food if you are a foodie. Very friendly staff. Accommodated large group.
Spectacular! Cocktails, food, service all beyond expectations. Presentations were excellent. Menu options were unique. We tried several different items and they were all delicious. The chicken wings are amazing and different. Everything was shareable, which made it that much more enjoyable. A visit to the table by the chef and beverage director were icing on the cake.
Hidden gem in Grandview!! Must go!
We really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Food was pretty good. I wish there were a few more vegetarian options on the manu but overall was a pretty good place to be on a Saturday night.
Food was excellent, server was super nice, a little slow but don't know if that was him or he needed to wait for drinks and kitchen. It was loud but I think that is what most people prefer. We were looking to catch up with friends and it was hard to hear each other talk but like I said, many would prefer the more energized surroundings.
Overall very good and I would have provided 5 stars across the board but most dishes were over salted and the service should have been a bit better and more attentive to be 5 star. Food choices are excellent and there is something for everyone. We shared at our table so I got to try many items.
The awesome - broccolini, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, scallops
Needs improvement - octopus. The octopus got lost among other ingredients and salt. The chorizo overtook the octopus flavor for sure.
Farm salad was good, but unremarkable really. Could have been better.
Unique cocktails in a warm modern environment. Food was interesting, maybe not five star plates but unique enough that I would return again to try other items on the menu.
Everything was great! I will be going back to try their brunch.
We did small plates and shared. Tacos, octopus and brussel sprouts were amazing. Mac and cheese was unimpressive. Lower East Side cocktail hit the spot and was a well balanced bourbon drink.
I had a reservation for 7 at 4. We had a great server - I wish I could remember her name because I would ask for her when I come back. Food and drinks were really really good. It was my second visit and I’m very impressed!!! I’ve been telling all my friends.
Food was great. The paloma cocktail was the best! The service was tremendous as well.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Rye River Social. RSS Cheeseburgers, Tostones, Crispy Cauliflower, Black Truffle Carbonara and Brussel Sprouts were all delicious. Our server, Nolan, was very attentive and patient with us as we decided what to order from the interesting and diverse menu.
Server was nice but very slow. Several times we were out of drinks for long periods of time. Also we watched them criticize another table for being too noisy. The bar was not very full and they were not even being overly loud. Not to mention it was a Saturday night at 930 or so. I thought that there we a few different ways it could have been handled other than. Threatening to kick out the table
Very good service and very good food...Good for a date night
The service was great! The space was nice. Unfortunately the food was just average, although, the brussel sprouts were amazing.
Went for brunch. Very easy to get a table. It was very slow business wise. It is well decorated, food could have been better but wasn’t bad. Will definitely be back.
Love this place. We had great food and drink. Had some food allergies and the chef came out to work with us. Great atmosphere. Loved the shuffle board tables too!
Amazing place! The interior is inviting and warm. The food is probably the best value in town. The menu has some amazing spins on classic American cuisine that add an incredible layer of flavor.
Open and airy, cool vibe; great patio. Upstairs private area for parties. And then there’s the food! Wow! Chef is an artist and bartenders make some killer cocktails too! Must go! Yummo!
Fantastic restaurant overall we will be back! Sat outside Brussel sprouts App was great. Good bourbon selection:)
Beautifully decorated restaurant with an outstanding covered patio. Very creative chef driven menu.
So so happy RRS is open again!
This may be may be my new favorite. Decided to test our first indoor dining experience since the lockdown on Rye River, and we’re so glad we did. The atmosphere was terrific, the service was top notch, and the food was outstanding. Server Zac (sp?), and Chef Joe and his team took great care of us. We had the grilled octopus, grilled Caesar, burrata and butcher’s choice steak. Every bite was delicious. Oh, and did I mention the cocktails? Yum! The chef even visited our table a few times to check in on us and share the inspiration behind his creations—difficult to do when managing a kitchen but such a great way to get to gauge customers’ reactions, and so appreciated by us, the patrons. Definitely heading back soon and frequently. Thank you Rye River, for a great experience!
Great experience! Food and drinks were delicious - service was phenomenal. The ambiance of the restaurant is top notch. Love the indoor and outdoor seating options. Great place for everyday dining or special occasions, especially with the private room on the second level. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Very engaging staff and great, open space to be in
