The Rye House in New York City offers regional American fare in a casual pub atmosphere with a definite splash of New Yorker style. The bar serves craft beers and cocktails, wine, whiskey and other spirits. Come on for brunch, lunch or dinner at Rye House or enjoy your food to go with the take-out service.



The menu includes small plates to enjoy at the bar or before a meal, such as white truffle popcorn and fried pickles. Larger appetizers such as hot wings and duck quesadillas are also available. Meals at Rye House may include a truffle grilled cheese, a roasted mushroom plate, a filet mignon or blackened fish tacos.

                                                                                We loved sharing the Filet Mignon sandwich! Delicious and cooked perfectly. There’s also a large selection of craft beer. This was a good find.

                                                                                I was a little surprised when the server placed our drinks but then ran away with our napkins, silverware, and menus, assuming we weren’t going to eat. I flagged her down and she returned the menus, but it was about fifteen minutes before she reappeared to take our order. Probably busy with the other 2 occupied tables.

                                                                                The cocktails were good but not great value for money. Appetizers incl the cheese plate could be better - although the Rye burger was good. Pretty loud and not so comfortable seats
