So sad this place is closing!! Rye is absolutely a gem - I’ve brought almost every visitor to Brooklyn to eat here. Worth a visit before it shuts its doors.

The food and drinks were great. Unfortunately, the table service was terrible. We had to remind our waitress multiple times for seemingly everything (water, a new round of drinks, etc). When the food came out, 3 out of 4 of us were served, but nothing was said about the entree for the 4th in our party. The front of house staff and the bartenders were all great. I hope that when we go back, we get a different server.

Rye was the perfect venue to celebrate my birthday with 8 of my friends; two of whom were visiting from outside of NY and haven't stopped complimenting on how delicious the food was. Rye is little more expensive than your typical NYC restaurant but it's an amount that was well spent and will be spent again.

The food and beverages at rye were outstanding. The service left much to be desired. Almost half an hour to get beverages is way to long. The server also hardly checked in on our table. Overall the food made up for the poor service but it was something I would question before returning.
