Ruth's Chris Steak House - Tulsa
Food and service far exceeded expectations! The fillet was so tender and flavorful but the butternut squash soup was my favorite.
Service was excellent. Salad with homemade Thousand Island the best ever. Petite filet was nearly ruined with seasoning. A fine steak cooked medium rare should not be covered with seasoning. I can add my own. If I had known I would have asked to be cooked without seasoning. Will recommend with that caveat.
Always the highest of quality food and service. We've really gotten to the point that if we want steak as a dining out option we really only go to Ruth's Chris, otherwise we cook them at home.
Ruth's Chris is a favorite. The Tulsa Ruth's Chris is outstanding. Service, food, ambiance - virtually everything - was perfect. Although pricey, the bill was in-line with the cost of fine dining. We celebrated an anniversary. We highly recommend everything about dining at RC-Tulsa.
Loved our experience. Best filet I have ever had and served Oscar style made it even better. Calamari was a perfect appetizer, service was excellent and we really enjoyed the atmosphere.
It took over 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. Our food arrived before our drinks did. We were over charged for an entree that we had to confront the manager to fix.
We were extremely happy with our dining experience! We requested a booth and were accommodated. Everyone there was very professional and extremely professional, polite and courteous. Bethany and Tripp were our Servers and they were both AMAZING! Both were very helpful and made great recommendations. Managers stopped by to check on us but not to the point they were bothersome. Then there's the food........I can't even begin to cover that but everything was perfect! We dine at some nice establishments and especially on a special occasion. This was, by far, the best dining experience we've had in Oklahoma. We will definitely be back. Even if it's just for the seared ahi tuna and a glass of wine. It was a little expensive, but still a great value for what we got.
Everything you should expect from a a steakhouse of this quality! The food, service and presentation were all 5 star
This was our first time. We loved it, and we're looking forward to coming back!
Our food was excellent and the service was even better. We can't wait for another special occasion to get to go back. We loved the barbecue shrimp so much that I was looking up duplicate recipes on the way home!
It was the first time at a Ruth’s Chris for both my wife and me. It was our Valentines dinner and didn’t turn out the best.
My wife’s steak was supposed to be medium but it came out seared and still mooing. So we sent the steak back...
Thankfully my wife is a sweetheart and insisted that I not wait to eat my steak and lobster (my food was delicious). Her steak spent another 20 minutes in the kitchen and came out looking fresh out of the microwave. Our sides were underwhelming even when they were hot... By the time her steak came back they were cold and the taste hadn’t improved (and I normally love cold leftovers).
So in the middle of all of this, I order a 50/50 Sazerac and of course I’m brought a glass of red wine. We had a good laugh and made the best of it.
When we walked in the door they made us feel special. Food was AMAZING. I loved how everyone helped out each other.
The steaks had great flavor but were not tender and loaded with fat. We ordered the valentines special. The sides were terrible. Tasted like mash potatoes right out of a box. The service was great but the food was very underwhelming. Will not be returning. Spent almost $400.00, not worth it!!
Amazing as ever, staff was very accommodating.
I feel anytime I make a reservation for a specific area I’m always disappointed.
Everything is always good. However, anytime I ask for a booth in the bar area I never get it, even if I book it over a month in advance.
I have had amazing service and amazing food here before. But I felt pushed on mass production cafeteria food. I will not go back for any holiday for them to support a high volume crowd just to feed people.
We were staying in the hotel for Valentines and I reluctantly made a reservation knowing the service would be slow and the food sub-par. Boy was I surprised! Service and food were both excellent. Can't wait to go back on a non-holiday evening and see how they top our Valentines Dinner!
Good steaks. Broccoli undercooked and wait staff not as attentive as I would think for that much $$. Overall I would come back.
Josh and Adrianne provided exceptional service and food was amazing.
An excellent valentines for sure
To properly give a review, we must address different categories individually.
Service: our waiter, Kyle. Was good. No complaints. He did his job and we were very pleased with the service and his professionalism. However the young man is ho was working with him, bussing the tables, refilling the water etc. was the star of the show. He was kind. Funny. Made the whole evening better.
Atmosphere: it was solid. Table wasn’t ready when our reservation was. But I understand and it’s petty to complain about a few mins. I imagine Valentines is a rough day at any restaurant. I did notice that there were sports playing on tvs. Ok I may be the only one but it was distracting to me and I love sports. Maybe it was the occasion of the day but I felt it took away from the romantic setting.
Food. The steak was cooked perfectly. Proper temp, exact color for the rarity. I’m not a food snob, but a steak snob I am. And I pay close attention to texture, taste, and how they are cut. The steak was a solid 8 of 10. The two marks were for the over saturation of butter which on the filet was complementary but the porterhouse took away from the actual taste of the quality meat. The potatoes were clearly purée but decent. We heard great reviews about the Brussel sprouts. To which my wife and I both enjoy them. However they individually were terrible. Over cooked and bland to taste. However, the calamari and the raviolis were cooked exactly like they should be and didn’t miss a beat with the arrangement of flavors.
Price: was a tad much for the quality and experience. I’m not complaining just felt for the price point we have received a better overall experience for less, but I’d be hard pressed to think many places in town are really on Ruths Chris level food wise.
The food and service were great, we loved setting in the booth. I’m glad we didn’t eat on the center floor for two people,,, they were very close to each other. Very nice place and the food was wonderful.
Food was 5 star! Service was mediocre...
Incredible! One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had!
Amazing food and service best steak in town .
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. First time at Ruth’s Chris. Filet Mignon and lobster for both of us. Steaks perfectly cooked, and the lobster an ideal compliment. A family side of potato’s au gratin added to the enjoyment. Most of all, the service was top shelf all the way. You’ve definitely earned repeat diners.
Celebrating friends and Valentine’s Day early
Tripp was our waiter. Professional
Food was perfect. Steaks come out on a hot plate and so every bite was warm. Love that!!
The Classic special is perfect size.
Thank you for making our evening special.
Good food and great service, which is a hallmark of any Ruth’s Chris we’ve visited. Nice corner table made for a quiet dining experience. Highly recommended for a special night out.
The atmosphere was very relaxing. The food was delicious and the service was great! I recommend Ruth's Chris for birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions! You cannot go wrong!
The atmosphere was great, the seafood tower appetizer was superb, I believe they were understaffed for the amount of guests because it was over an hour for our entree to arrive which were rare steaks. I don’t despute that for a special occasion it’s a suitable place but one bottle of wine (60.00) one dessert and two meals after gratuity was almost 400.00
Very nice dinner, good service, good food. The restaurant is quite beautiful.
Recently ate out with family. A variety of dishes was ordered. The calamari was our favorite with the thai chili sauce. Our group had several steaks which were all cooked to perfection and had great flavor. We had the blackened coconut snapper. It was cooked just right and had great flavor. I can't say I really noticed it had been "blackened". Out service was outstanding. Keith was attentive and helpful. We ate in the main dining room and the experience was great. For a special occasion, you can't go wrong. For a more affordable experience, we will try the happy hour next time.
Outstanding steaks. Service was top notch. All sides with the steak were cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth.
Always enjoy Ruth’s Chris steaks. Always wavers well executed. Love it.
Perfect place to celebrate! We celebrated our 25th and our friends 45th Anniversary’s at Ruth’s Chris in Tulsa and they went out of their way to make it special. From the moment they took us to our (rose petal covered) table, through the dessert (with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate) course,Justin gave us elevated service!
Meal was cooked to perfection; impeccable service, and perfect atmosphere made this an extraordinary evening for sure!
It was our Anniversary and they had the table decked out with rose petals and a card. Our waiter, Neil, was knowledgeable about wines and helped us make a great selection to go with our meal. The manager personally visited our table to wish us well and make sure everything was to perfection. The shrimp appetizer was one of the best I have ever had. It was spicy and flavorful and came with a small cucumber salad to cool your mouth that was a delicious compliment to the spicy shrimp. The rib eye steak was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor. The side dishes are huge, so glad we were told that they were made to share. We were gifted with a beautiful dessert of salted caramel cheesecake and ice cream. It was melt in your mouth perfection and was a glorious was to top off a wonderful meal. Our leftovers were discreetly wrapped up to go along with a brand new hot fresh bread roll for us to enjoy later. It was a week night and moderately busy, but we were attended to just the right amount. All of our needs and requests were met without being intruded upon. From the Hostess to the bussers we were greeted and treated very warmly and everyone knew it was our anniversary and made mention of it. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other decadent options on the menu. This would be a fun place to go for appetizers and cocktails before hitting the Casino!
The food was great. The view of the river was beautiful. The service was strange. Our waiter was either condescending or was trying too hard I couldn’t decide which, but I would not choose to have him again. However, it was a wonderful evening out with my husband.
We chose Ruth’s Chris to celebrate my husbands birthday. Our table was subtly decorated with “birthday sprinkles” on the table cloth, and a birthday card from the restaurant. Nice touch! Excellent food and service and a delicious complimentary dessert. Perfect night!
