Wait staff is great. Food is what you expect from a Ruth's Chris. Steer clear of the mashed potatoes unless you like lumps. Obviously, we don't enjoy lumpy mashed potatoes. Parking is a different story. Overall rating is purely due to the nature of the parking, how it is listed on the website and the lack of empathy from the manager on duty that evening. This is a known issue as the parking attendant let us know that most people think it is free via validation and has been told that is what they (customers) read on the website. If the parking guys know this then there is an issue that needs to be corrected. The manager also seemed to hint that this is a normal mistake made by Philadelphia Ruth's Chris patrons. She made me feel quite stupid and little. I will not recommend this Ruth's Chris to anyone. We just moved here and will find another establishment for our personal and business meetings. All over how I was treated by the MOD over parking. This is sad because the location and setup are outstanding.

My butter dish was dirty and it was food on my seat also is was a small portion of food I did not know that if I knew I would’ve ordered the big plate I know it was restaurant week but give me a heads up. I did not really have a server the bartender came out to serve me I did not like that at all and this is one of my favorite restaurants got to do better.

This location was packed . A lot going on to check in . Didn’t have the best smell . I love Roth Chris but this time the good and drinks were mediocre. The blueberry in my drink was molded . I will not attend this location again .

We’ve dined at this restaurant several times and it’s one of our favorites. The food is always on point, the servers are always so so sweet, pleasant, attentive, and professional. I’m sorry I can’t remember our servers from last night but they were ahhhhhmmmaaazing. I had the T-bone steak, lobster Mac n cheese, and the sweet potato casserole with the Calamari appetizer. My husband had the new strip, garlic mash, and the sweet potato casserole with the spicy shrimp appetizer and everything was just delicious. We normally get the roasted chicken which is our favorite dish but wanted to try something different. We will definitely be back very very soon. Thanks for another wonderful experience Ruth Chris

While a chain, Ruth's Chris Steak House seems to be one of the best, if not the best steak house in Philadelphia. Lacking the pretentiousness of many other places it has great service and serves great food.

Our waitress, Kim, was very pleasant, informative, and attentive; but, not overly so. I had the cowboy ribeye cut which was cooked to perfection, and my nephew (who was treating me for my birthday) said that his steak was cooked perfectly as well. In addition, the sides - garlic mashed potatoes, crispy brussel sprouts w/bacon, creamed spinach and sweet potato casserole (absolutely delicious) were all just sheer delicious perfection. We will be returning...

Our waitress, Liz, was phenomenal. She guided us through the menu and gave us the scoop on the family size side dishes, which made our selections work for our table. There was just something, when I compare to Capital Grille in Cherry Hill, NJ, that was missing that put the entire experience over the top. It may have had to do with the fact that ai am a large person and the booth we were sat in was not accommodating. I thought the decor was plain and just below the level of fine dining. This was more of a contemporary vibe, which doesn’t impress me, I guess. Still, the food was on point and we tried some new things.

I went for the first time in January for my bday and I didn’t have the best experience. But I was invited to come back again. This time was much better and I was not disappointed. Steak was cooked perfectly as ordered. The staff did amazing at acknowledging the occasion for the visit. I will say Ruth’s Chris has redeemed this selves and I’ll go back. Whatever changed from January to August, keep it up!

The steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Three of us shared the garlic mashed potato side and 1 order would have been enough. The server visited often, but not too much, to make sure we had everything we needed.

As soon as I walked in, I smelled the Odor of a old musty carpet. The decor was dated and the steaks were average for the expensive price. On the flip side, the service was outstanding. I would try a different place in the city for the price. Barclay Prime is the same cost but the food is much better.

The cocktails arrived after the appetizers and as the first seated table in the dining room, it wasn't because the bar was busy. My drink arrived in a martini glass etched around the rim with sharp edges and chips. They replaced my drink.
