We were seated immediately upon arrival for our 7:30 reservation. Missy, our server was attentive and helpful with the menu. Our food was cooked perfectly. Appetizers were great- had ahi tuna and spicy shrimp. Lobster Mac n cheese and sweet potato casserole did not disappoint.
We will be back.
As always a great experience. Love our waitress CJ! She is the best
Food was great, I always enjoy Ruth Chris never had a bad meal. Our server tonight was very personable, the wait staff working with him was a bit clumsy. He spilled my ENTIRE glass of wine on me. Accidents happen, he and the server apologized profusely. However, I thought the manager would have come over or that I would have been offered the drink or dessert complimentary. Nothing... I would expect more from a restaurant of this caliber.
The waiter would get missing for 30 mins at a time and it would take 10 for him to return with with any extra condiments.
Waitress was slow to serve wine and take order. They messed up the order. Overall a meh meal.
I can always depend on RCSH to exceed my expectations. The staff is friendly, fast and a welcome relief from other less attentive restaurant servers.
I brought a friend so he could enjoy the outstanding filet. The sizzling entree was an eye opener for him, yet the best part was how much he thoroughly enjoyed it.
I highly recommend Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Odenton (as well as all the others).
Amazing food. Great service. A nice evening spent with friends. So glad this is close to us!
My husband filet was raw he asked for medium they cooked it more then was well done cooked another steak took a long time that was better but they did not give him more veggies so everything else was cold never asked if he wanted more wine to go with his steak because we never seen our waitress again over all bad night I ate along
The place setting was covered with crumbs and there was a dirty plate at one seat. I had to clean the table and get a new plate. Should have asked to be moved. The restaurant was empty but we never had our water refilled.
Very very disappointed and will not return to this location. Am a regular at the Ruth’s Chris in Ocean City so this was sub par for this restaurant
Had dinner at Ruth's Chris in Odenton, MD for my birthday on July 28. We used to live right around the corner so we've been to this location multiple times and also to both the Baltimore locations as well as the Annapolis location so this one was our favorite. All in all the experience was fine but a couple of things happened. First, I ordered the 8 oz filet at a "medium" to "medium plus" along with the king crab legs and a loaded baked potato. The steak and legs came out on this tiny little plate with no room for the crab. They were nearly literally falling off the plate due to me trying to cut my steak. I cut into the steak and it's at best a medium rare and more towards the rare side. The wait staff was going to just take the steak but because the butter wasn't presented with the legs, I asked both go back and both come out hot together on the next go around. My potato showed up several minutes after the steak went back again with the rest my entire meal come out all at once while hot. Basically I didn't want to eat three courses, I wanted it all at the same time which is what should of happened. The butter for the crab legs came out after I sent the potato back. About 15 minutes later, the steak, legs and potato came out. The steak was well done and the legs were reduced to a rubbery mush but the potato was excellent so no problem there. Eating crab legs makes a mess on your hands so when I was done, I went to the restroom to wash. There are three women's and three men's restrooms. Two of the three men's rooms had no soap and I had to wait for the third room to open before I could wash my hands.
So every time we have dinner there, it's always excellent. This time, it was a big miss from the kitchen standpoint. Poor timing on food delivery to the table and apparently can't find the middle between a rare steak and one that's well done. It'll be a while before we return.
The place is lovely and the food is good. However, buyer beware, if you do an add on Lobster tail, be sure to ask the "market" price before adding.
Father & Daughter Dinner
We came in for a birthday dinner for my husband, as RC is one of his favorites. The food did not disappoint. We were happy with our service and everything was delicious. Top notch. The restaurant itself was a little cold (thank goodness my daughter and I had sweaters with us over our dresses) and the room was kind of loud for the number of diners in there. Overall a nice time and we will definitely be back. Pricey, but worth it.
Got the $125 tomahawk steak and $80 wine deal... it was ooooook. I’ve had better steak at longhorn
Rare steak was medium (center was pink cooked, not even medium rare), well-done steak was over cooked (it is possible to have a perfectly cooked well-done fillet that is not “over cooked “.
The service was not the best, but it was sufficient. The food is always scrumptious when I go here. I recommend the barbeque shrimp as an appetizer. It is delicious!
Our server was AMAZING however the kitchen was slow this visit.
They Treated is well!
Average tasting steak and a premium price, not worth the money. Had a $125 gift card to use and still spend $60 additional dollars for two people.
Food was fantastic, as usual. Made a reservation for 3 for a birthday celebration. Arrived and had some discussion occurring on where to seat us. Strange since they knew we were coming. Ended up putting us in a back room with a large party. Our table was pushed to the corner and one person got to stare at the corner and fire extinguisher throughout dinner. Our server was okay, but certainly not as stellar as we've come to expect at Ruth's Chris. A bit disappointing since the birthday guest had never dined there before. He enjoyed the meal, but the overall experience was lacking.
My friend and I both enjoyed our meals. He had a perfectly cooked Cowboy Ribeye and I had a T-Bone that was ordered medium rare but came out medium instead; nonetheless, it was delicious. The calamari appetizer was a wonderful opening statement and both our creamed spinach and grilled corn side dishes were excellent tasting sidekicks to our marvelous steaks. He enjoyed his bread pudding dessert and I enjoyed my creme brulee, although I wished they had flamed the top at our table. The entire wait staff was appropriately professional and courteous; particularly our waiter Colin, who was attentive without being suffocating during the meal. The prices are indeed steep, so I see the experience as an occasional treat instead of a regular "go to" dining location. Overall, I'm confident in the menu and it's execution, so I'll be looking forward to my next visit there.
We had a great time, and so glad we came around 4:30 for an early dinner. I noticed that few tables were filled, but quickly after 5, there was more of crowd. Our server, Sean, was attentive and overall an top notch waiter. We all ordered steaks, and everyone enjoyed their meals.
Always an amazing time with Ralph and his staff
Alexa was great! She offered great suggestions, was attentive and very polite. My steak was overcooked, but the manager insisted on making it again. If nothing else they have incredible customer service!
Excellent food and service as usual. Thank you as always Ruth Chris.
Great girls night out. Our waiter/server Patrick was wonderful. I would definitely ask to be placed in his station again. I will definitely have to go back before the summer special ends.
The food was good. During our meal, there were 2 bus boys that were telling some kind of story. They thought they were in an area that did not have anyone seated, but my girlfriend and I were and it was not professional at all. Not something you expect when going to a place like this.
Food and service is excellent. Always dine here for special occasions
Food was delicious. Was not too crowded food came quickly and was steaming hot. Server could have been a bit friendlier kind of rambled a scripted speech
Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious. Drinks were very good.
This was an excellent experience. The food was good and hot.
We love Ruth's Chris, we come to celebrate special events as well as just dropping in. While the food was good, as usual, since we had a reservation, I did not expect to be herded into that large back room. It had NO ambiance, it was loud and we were seated at a table that was larger than our party. Not the best experience I have had however, we continue to like several of the servers and the food overall.
Waiters recommendations where great ! Enjoyed food service near the bar area
11oz filet was cooked excellent 16oz ribeyes perfect. Lamp chops were undercooked asked for medium well came out pink through out chops. Sides were great. Seating was very bad kept setting up glasses the entire time directly beside us.
The food was great. It just took too long to be seated even with a reservation.
Very amazing all around!
Superb meal. The food was pretty much flawless. Our waiter was a bit overly helpful and chatty but that’s better than the alternative. Expensive but worth the price.
Steak is always excellent. Sides are good too. The cocktails are bit on the higher side. Overall if don’t mind spending a little more the experience is very good.
