The service at Ruth’s Chris is alwayssss spectacular! We went for our anniversary so they set the table up with rose petals and hearts. Our server, Johnny, was absolutely amazinggg! And the manager ensured we were always tended to.

Johnny and Killian were great servers! My friend and I had a great time catching up, and were made very comfortable doing so! I am looking forward to returning!

Really loved the service that this location had ! Enjoyed the ribeye here ! The server,Marlon really made my experience so hospitable. Crystal the manager there was amazing checking up on me. Can’t wait to go back looking forward. Great atmosphere!

I had no idea just how special our 15-year wedding anniversary dinner would be when my husband told me we were going to Ruth’s Chris in Jersey City. I knew it would be a beautiful night — especially since we were also celebrating another huge milestone: buying our first home! But I never expected the night to feel so unforgettable, thoughtful, and joy-filled. From the warm ambiance to the phenomenal food and the extraordinary service from our server, Marlon, it felt like something out of a movie. From the moment we sat down, the evening felt magical. Marlon was absolutely exceptional — not just attentive, but intuitive. He seemed to know what we needed before we even asked. He didn’t just serve us — he celebrated with us. His warmth, energy, and care made it feel like we were his only table (even though the restaurant was busy). The food was beyond incredible. We started with the spicy shrimp and seared ahi tuna — both bursting with flavor. The shrimp had the perfect kick and buttery finish that melted in your mouth. For dinner, we had the filet and the bone-in ribeye, served sizzling on the signature 500-degree plates. They were rich, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection. We shared the lobster mac and cheese (so decadent) and the creamed spinach — velvety, flavorful, and comforting. Marlon recommended the Blackberry Sidecar for me, and it was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had — fruity, smooth, and perfectly balanced. My husband loved his expertly crafted Old Fashioned. The highlight? A surprise dessert plate with “Happy Anniversary” written beautifully — I hadn’t known my husband had shared our celebration, and that thoughtful gesture brought tears to my eyes. Marlon, thank you for making me feel cherished. Ruth’s Chris, you’ve given us a memory we’ll treasure forever. We’ll be back — and we’ll be asking for Marlon. Visited from out of town for mother’s day , had to wait 2 1/2 hours for food that came not cooked properly (chunks of potatoes in mashed potatoes, burnt chicken) . Drinks weren’t good , had to ask waiter 3x for even a straw. I visit ruth chris frequently and this is by far the worst experience . Won’t be returning this isn’t how i planned to spend my mother’s day
