Excellent service and excellent food!
Dessert bread puddin was very good
Amazing experience as always, although I was under the impression a nice restaurant like this had a dress code. A lot of people in gym clothes and hats were admitted while we were there.
A regular stop when I’m in El Paso. Food and service is always great.
Great service food came out quick great wine recommendations.
We Celebrated our Anniversary at Ruth’s Chris like we have done it for the last 15 years in a Ruth’s around the country where ever we find ourselves we try to look for a Ruth’s Chris nearby and celebrate, thanks for the great experience ones again.

Note: Covid-19 may have affected quality.
We were very excited to make the stop in El Paso for Ruth Chris. Upon arriving the staff was friendly and welcoming, and even had a gluten sensitive menu available for me at the table. Unfortunately, the dishware at the table was dirty which is very concerning at a time like this with all of the COVID-19. When we order our meal, my steak came to the table overcooked and my husbands came to the table under cooked, so we had to do a little bit of swapping since we did not have time to send them back on our tight schedule. The vegetables were cooked perfect but bland. Ordered espresso to go which came out more like a strong cup of coffee instead of shots. Overall a disappointment.
Celebrated my birthday with dinner at Ruth’s Chris and was very pleased with the service considering the current COVID situation.
Excellent food!! Cowboy steak was amazing!recomended
Great food and wonderful service
Been to Ruths Chris sevea times and never a poor experience until now. Everything was great except for the food. Both salmon and steak were slightly overcooked, did not taste as good as usual... might be expected from a lesser restaurant but we were surprised and disappointed. Oh well must be due to COVID, maybe they dont have the same cook or their food is sitting in the freezer too long. Not sure what happened.
This place is nice ! The decor , ambiance, meals and service is great !
The food was almost great, my baked potato had a “hollow heart” in it (a big gray body). Not very appetizing, but it doesn’t affect the edible part of the potato. The steaks were amazing but the sides could have been better. Ruth’s used to enforce a dress code, but it doesn’t seem to be enforced anymore. The code was business casual, but lots of patrons were in jeans. Which I suppose isn’t bad, but a little strange when you’re in business casual attire.
We had Joshua and Jacob to serve us. They were great! The food was delicious as always. Thank you!!
It's our favorite restaurant in EP. The food and service is remarkable and beyond compare. Monthly specials make it a good value. The staff is so friendly...its very much like eating at a family restaurant. I highly recommend to all.
First time visit. Pleasantly surprised.
We arrived at 6:55 pm with a 7 pm reservation. We had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated. What good was the reservation then?
The waitstaff was outstanding. Drinks and appetizer orders were delivered in a timely manner without issue.
For an entrée, my wife ordered a medium-rare filet mignon with a blue cheese crust with mashed potatoes and a side of mushrooms. The filet mignon came well-done with mushrooms and creamed spinach. We sent the filet back for being way too well done and for the spinach because she ordered mushrooms. Weird how they could confuse them. My order had arrived without issue. About 10 minutes later her filet came out again. This time it was a filet with shrimp on top with zero blue cheese crust. It's nice that they did that without ever inquiring about a shellfish allergy. We rejected the steak immediately and asked for a filet with a blue cheese crust. The mashed potatoes arrived a few minutes later. At this point, I was 1/3 of the way through my own plate thinking I was insane for considering this an appropriate venue to enjoy a dinner with my wife. Thankfully, a few minutes later they bought my wife’s filet back out. This time they had put the blue cheese crust on top…with the shrimp that she never ordered delightfully placed on top of the blue cheese crust. They comped us $25.00 for the trouble.
If there were ever such an overpriced establishment that wasn’t worth the trouble this is it. I essentially had to eat dinner while my wife watched and was compensated for a side dish. A side dish!? My wife sent her $50 filet back TWICE and they compensated us the price of a side dish!
We paid for the experience and the food tonight. Both were mediocre are best. I would not recommend the El Paso location if you’re looking for either. Look, no one goes to Ruth’s Chris looking for a cheap meal. They should at least be able to provide a better service than the 5-Guys across the street.

The petite filet Oscar style is delicious as well as the sweet potato casserole. The waiter wasn't very knowledgeable about the wine list so I ended up getting a pomegranate smash.
Excellent service, great food had a wonderful time.
Nice place but service was lacking, food was mediocre . I have been to several Ruth’s in the past and love them but this one needs some help!
Great wait staff very good food attentive waiters
I been going to Ruth’s Chris for 14 years this was my first bad experience first when we got there we had a reservation there was only one host she was really busy phones ringing none stop had us waiting for about 10 min to get us seated then we get seated in a booth were there the AC is right on my face and cold so I tell my server about it more then once and doesn’t do anything about it until I tell Judy one of the managers going by then she switch our table to a better one but before this service timing was really bad it took few minutes for server to approach our table drinks took long to get them she took long to take our order, coffee was cold refill on my wife’s drink wasn’t there then we order our steak MW got it MD mash weren’t as smooth and buttery as usual then at the end I order dessert wish took some time to get,I know the time it takes to dine at RC but tonight wasn’t the night sorry.
Great late Valentine’s Day dinner!
Perfect steak and lobster!
Came for Valentine's day it was a great experience. Our table was set up quickly great service. Super good food. Second year in a row that we do Valentine's day here.
It was great
Everything was great and i loved the ambiance, the service and decor BUT the pricing is just outrageous. NEVER should a meal for 2 cost over $125.00, that is with no alcoholic beverages, we just had tea, and we split one salad, no other sides..................I personally will never go there again. the food wasn't so fantastic that it warranted being $50 per plate. My personal opinion.
We were not sure where we wanted to eat for our valentine's day date, so we had not made reservations prior to deciding where we wanted to eat. I made the reservation as we were walking in. The phones were ringing and a few couples were waiting to be seated. We were seated at the reserved time. The prices are astronomically crazy. No way should a meal for 2 cost $125. We got a steak, mashed potato's, and creamed spinach, then added another side, they are almost $13, and then a bottle of wine. Our bill was over $200. The food and ambiance are not worth the prices.
This was our first and last time dinning here.
Excellent dinner venue for couples. The food and service are exceptional.
Excellent food and service was on point! I went for my valentines birthday with my friends!!
Attentive service and great food. Joan was always available as was Steven. And Dillon did a wonderful job of engaging with us as he divided the porterhouse. This place never disappoints
What a wonderful night!!! Ask for Joan Muan, she is amazing!!! Food was perfect!!!
Well, we waited at the front for about 15 minutes before anyone even knew we were there. Then the staff fumbled over themselves to get a table ready for us. It defeated the purpose of making a reservation. I honestly Walked away from it with less than a great first time experience which was very disappointing. I really thought I had lined up something special to impress my spouse being that it was our last dinner together before I leave out of the country for 2 months on Monday. I left a remark in regards to the occasion during my reservation but nothing of it was even brought up. So, there's my honest review.
We truly appreciate your feedback because it helps us improve. This is not at all the experience we aim to provide. So we can learn more, please consider sending us your contact information, including a phone number. Thank you!
Very disappointed how our table reservation for our 30th wedding anniversary was handled .. we showed up an hour before for a drink at the bar. , at that time they gave us a beautiful table for two by the window and told us it was ready for us to have our drink and move to the table when ready . When we finished our drink and we’re paying a couple apparently a big shot came and wanted a table by ours , the hostess told them those were reserved . within. Two minutes she came and told us the table they had given us was not ours .. that it was reserved for a proposal . Really ? That’s why it had our anniversary card and happy 30th anniversary menus ? She grabbed everything , the card the menus and the rose petals and moved us to a booth for 4 , in a corner of the restaurant ... we couldn’t believe it ,, I asked to talk to the manager and he apologized he said the big shot couple didn’t want to be seated were we were . I asked him what were reservations for if they don’t respect them he offered to pay for our wine .
want was done was done .. on our way out there was the big shot couple on one of the tables that were reserved and obviously they bumped us to the back of the room .... so sad because even though you try not to let those things get to you they do, unfortunately it happened on our anniversary .
Service was top notch. My birthday was made so special with the confetti on the table and personalized menu and dessert. Food was typical of Ruth’s Chris... outstanding. Couldn’t have been better. Thanks so much!
