   Awesome waiter, don't recall his name but it was our 46th anniversary and he treated us like king and queen. This is our 2nd year coming to Greenville to celebrate our anniversary and we will be back next year as well.

   The food was superb as always! I love Ruth Chris. They never disappoint! I don’t eat red meat, so I always get the salmon! It is the best salmon I have ever tasted. This is my go to, or the stuffed chicken! Their sides are delicious! Like Ruth Chris is just a great upscale restaurant! The waiter was great! Very friendly. Everything was AWESOME!

    After 3 trips to check in, we were finally seated. It was 25 minutes before we were served bread. Drinks were served in a matter of minutes. When our food finally arrived, my steak which I ordered cooked medium, was well done. Absolutely no pink in the middle. It was also so cold in the restaurant that it was very hard to enjoy our meal. We eat at Ruth’s Chris 6-8 times a year, normally taking guest with us. I’m thinking we should start looking for alternatives.

    Horrible service. Long wait for food. Food mediocre. Would never go back. We had an early reservation at 4:45. It was not crowded and after waiting around 10-15 minute we were seated in the front room. There were only two other tables that were seated. It took around 10-15 minutes for our true server to come around to inform us another server would be back to give us water. The server came back after another 15-20 minutes to ask if we were ready for our dinner orders. We wanted appetizers and once we put those in (along with the kids orders) he came back around and took our dinner orders. We waited almost an hour for our food. Our server was not attentive at all. We had to ask for more water multiple times. He didn't ask how our food was but he did comment on how kids are normally "loud and out of control". It was just not the experience you would want to have spending that amount of money. Not to mention, we also had to ask for the check after the waiter was just walking past us multiple times. It was not a good experience at all.

    I always order filets when dining out if I’m wanting steak and for the first time ever my filet was on the dry side. Service was terrible. Waited forever from the time we sat down until the time we left. The fact that it was Mother’s Day is no excuse when All seatings were on a reservation basis. Management should have planned better for this day. I was looking forward and more than happy to treat my mother to a nice and expensive meal but what a total waste of ALOT of money. Very disappointing.

    Travis was the best server. We will ask for him again. Food was great! Had an important dinner meeting the following night. Once again awesome food and service. Tyler was our server this time.     Mother’s Day lunch took 3 hrs. Seafood tower had absolutely now flavor , tasted like it was boiled in plane water. We sat for long periods of time with no food bread or drinks at the table. Stake was good. But all of this was disappointing for such a high priced restaurant. Would never go back here.

    Restaurant was empty (9:45PM) and the Host didn’t want to serve us without a reservation. We literally stood right in front of her and made a reservation within 1 min and she proceeded to seat us. Our sever came to us and made a joke about how the host was mad that we made the reservation that way. Won’t spend my money at this establishment again.

    This visit was on a recent Saturday night. The restaurant was moderately busy. We did arrive about 15 minutes late for our reservation (traffic, parking, wardrobe ;), etc) I knew we were going to be late and called the restaurant twice to let them know. Voice mail on both calls. I did not leave a message. If they were too busy to answer they weren't going to be checking v/m. The check in process was bad. It was the bartender, he couldnt find the reservation, asked me my name a few times, found something in the system, and told us that he'd marked us as 'arrived'. When the hostess came back i checked in with her as well. She seemed uninterested and told me there were parties ahead of us and we'd be seated when a table opened. No time frame, no offer to find open seating in the bar to wait. After about 15 minutes she offered to seat us in a side room that was closed off from the rest of the main dining room. We took the table - but it was just weird being in there by ourselves. We went back up to the front and one of the managers was working, i believe her name was Jordan. She was great - apologized, asked us to give her a few minutes and she'd take care of us, which she did. She sat us at a nice table in the main dining room - where there were other open tables so not sure why the hostess sat us where she did? Anyway, server Scott was very attentive and got things back on track. Service was very prompt and food was good, not great, but good. I've had great meals at other Ruth's locations. Hoping this location can make some adjustments. I would go back, but it might not be first choice with some of the other options in town.

    Everything was amazing as always. There was a little trouble with my lamb chops, but they were quick to fix the issue. The food was impeccable, service was amazing as well. The only thing wrong was the lighting. I understand trying to set the mood, but it was so dark. Bump it up a notch.

    I left notes for my reservation on where we would like to sit and what foods that I can not eat and it was like they took the reservation and didn’t both to read the notes. I can’t eat shell fish or pork and I would think that would be important for the servers and chiefs to know but I guess not. Also I had put on the notes it was out anniversary but if you don’t read the notes no one would know. Our food was hot and came out quickly service wasn’t all that great had to wait about 15 minutes for water and drinks. We were sitting in a both in the bar and still had to wait. Overall not the anniversary dinner I was hoping for.

    The food is alright. Like every other Ruth Chris. The ambience is nice overlooking the water, but quiet for a large group. (Unless it’s a busy night) The saving grace was the staff. Everyone on the staff was incredibly polite, accommodating, and insightful. Special shout-out to our waitress Sarah! She made our special occasion even more special with champagne and a hand written card. Service was a 10 out of 5.

    Service with Caitlyn was fantastic. However, we were disappointed with the lack of non-seafood appetizers, and the quality of sides. 1 steak, a petite filet was over cooked. Ordered medium rare, and was medium well. The other, a bone in filet was perfect. Overall we had a nice dinner, but it certainly wasn’t on par with the premium price. Would have rated 2 stars if not for our server.
