Food was delicious. Service was a little slow at first but then improved. Light-filled, simple, comfortable, unpretentious dining area. Great addition to a part of Arlington that lacks restaurants. Looking forward to going back.
Food was great. Outdoor seating was well spaced and comfortable. Would definitely be going back!
Great food! Loved the outdoor seating
Great modern diner with a twist. Nice indoor and outdoor seating and good service.
We’ve been to RAD many times. Last night I had smoked baby lamb chops. They were out of this world!!
Found this place last minute and ended up being so great! The food was amazing but so was the staff!!
Terrific meal—best pulled pork I’ve ever had, and my wife enjoyed the brisket.
I can’t hold you responsible for the flies, but they were annoying, and I wonder if you can do anything about them.
Great food; wonderful service. Love the patio seating. I’m glad to see the staff is back to wearing masks.
So delicious! I loved everything we ate, and couldn't help but want every other order that went by us! It is very popular so definitely book a reservation.
We picked another terrific evening to sit outside on the patio. Our party of three enjoyed some RAD menu favorites, a grilled fish special, and we all shared the outstanding peach cobbler. Todd mentioned that when peaches are no longer in season, the cobbler may soon feature apples. This is just one more reason - among many reasons (grilled entree specials and changing side dishes) - to look forward to future meals at RAD!
Great service, food, cocktails! What more could I ask for? Our server was attentive to details and knowledgable of the menu and made great suggestions. Meat lovers and our pescatarian all found great choices and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Outside ambiance looked inviting, though we made reservations indoors due to forecasted heat. We'll be back!
Great place for safe, comfortable outdoor dining. The ability to specify an outdoor table for a specific time is a great option given these times. The outdoor area is spacious so there is plenty of space for tables. The food is great and the value is great. We've been there several times and always enjoyable.
Brunch was good. We got seated ahead of our registration time after we explained the our friends’ plane was rerouted to BWI and it was a tight timeline. They were very understanding. I didn’t particularly care for the sausage gravy (too milky), but everything else was excellent.
Amazing food, great service, and the patio is a really nice and quiet spot with plenty of shade.
We had a wonderful brunch at RAD. Our first time having breakfast there and it’s as good as we expected based on our experience at dinner time. Wonderful! We will be back!
Steak was really good, Brussels beyond comparison and roasted squash with quinoa super tasty and unique. Extra plus for having Shiner's Bock!
We had 2 tables as we had kids w/us (teens) & explained that to our waiter. He told the lady that had their table (2 tables over). She never greeted the table. I had to ask someone who was the waitress as they were ready to order. She wasn’t nice. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt as places are under staffed, but then say something. A simple “I’m sorry, we’re understaffed…” My food was cold, but I wasn’t going to send it back as they were busy. Kids thought food was ok, some of it was a bit greasy for their taste (might be fine for others). I want to give them a try again, but will pick a less busy time.
Neighborhood staple that I'll be frequenting regularly!
We liked our octopus appetizer last time we dined at Ruthie’s but this time it was gloppy (way too much sauce!) and rubbery (ick).
The deviled eggs were great. We liked our Rhone wine and cornbread. But those three items do not a good experience make.
Dinner was good, but service is abrupt and a bit clumsy. They sat us in a room with boxes and silverware trays, this should be cleaned up if you want larger parties to have a good atmosphere and not feel like an afterthought. Server, hostesses and busing staff all need a little polish.
Food was well prepared and fresh. Would benefit from additional menu items.
Would be nice if you could bring your own wine.
I had the salmons and the sauce was watery and had little taste.
The noise was a major issue, even after staff moved us to a separate section of the restaurant.
My first waiter was able to deliver an Arnold Palmer. When I asked a different waiter for a refill, she insisted that the restaurant did not have sweet tea, so it could not provide an Arnold Palmer
There’s a nice but small outdoor patio. Unfortunately lots of flies everywhere.
Truly delicious food and good service. I’ve been to Ruthie’s several times and all lunches have been great!
This was another memorable visit to RAD, with friends from Colorado who thoroughly enjoyed their first-time experience at RAD. The smoked pork chop and the peach cobbler were both hits with our out-of-town friends.
Food was very good and portions were generous. Service was attentive and it’s a nice, bright atmosphere. It’s somewhat loud inside.
Great spot! Brisket was outstanding and the sides are over the top.
The chicken cooked over live fire is my go to dinner and I could eat it daily. All the smoked meats are incredible, as are the delicious sides. Do NOT miss the milk bread, biscuits and expert desserts.
I’ve been here for breakfast, brunch, dinner. Each time has been fantastic from the chicken and biscuit to the sticky ribs I’ve also had a burger I can’t rave enough about the food. Do yourself a favor and just go out you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
I've wanted to try Ruthie's All-Day since I heard they were opening and last night I finally had my chance.
This is the kind of food that people write POEMS about. Or songs. It is absolutely delectable. The smoked brisket positively melted in my mouth. Everything I had was incredible.
I cannot wait to go back. I am officially obsessed.
We arrived for our 7:15 reservation to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, the restaurant was backed up and we weren’t seated until 7:45. The restaurant did offer us either a free appetizer or dessert due to the wait.
We had registered that it was a birthday celebration, but after the wait we ate relatively quickly because my kids had school the next morning. Our meals came out before our drinks.
When we went to pay and leave, the bill included the offered free appetizers as well as a drink we hadn’t ordered. They fixed the charges after we caught it and pointed it out. No one in the restaurant referenced that it was a special occasion.
We were seated straight away. The server was friendly and attentive. A bit of confusion with the food delivery but when it arrived it was well presented and tasty. The steak was just ok. The branzino could have been seasoned better. The chicken sandwich was fantastic, crispy on the outside and moist in the center. The cookies and ice cream and caramel pudding were delicious. Overall good experience. Will return again to try other menu items.
The food and service was great but the flies kept swarming our food.
Another fabulous brunch at Ruthies. Portion size was excellent and well worth the price. The food was delicious as always and the service spot on.
Service got off to a slow start, but most places are understaffed right now, and they were BUSY. Thoroughly enjoyed the apple donuts, the shrimp/jalapeno hushpuppies, the brisket hash, and the chicken biscuit. Also? The "Good Morning Honey" cocktail is my new favorite thing.
