   We have many favorites on the Ruthie's All-Day dinner menu, but we really enjoy the specials that Chef Matt Hill adds to the all-star fare. Tonight's special side was chopped broccoli with a flavorful kick and tonight's entree special was excellent pan seared scallops with a spaetzel, pea and light brown butter sauce. We love the seafood specials that occur during the warm weather months, and co-owner Todd Salvadore hinted that Chesapeake soft shell crabs will be on the menu soon. Just one more reason to return!

   Excellent food and attentive service. Loved seeing the wood fire in the open kitchen. We had the special scallop dinner since we wanted something lighter than meat and it was delicious. The biscuits are a must and we even ordered a second time in lieu of dessert!

   The Black Bean and Quinoa Burger is a bit loose for my taste. As a result, it is hard to hold without part of the "burger" flopping down. If there is any way to add strength to this burger, it would greatly improve its desireabilty.

   Too loud. Could not have conversations. Included special occasion in the reservation and no mention was made. Service felt rushed. Food was solid as always.

   Honestly a decent place! The food was good, but the busyness of the restaurant was little much. It’s definitely a decently priced fancy brunch. During brunch, it’s NOT a place for people who are hard of hearing or impatient; the restaurant was BUSY and crowded around noon. The parking is also a little difficult because of the busyness, but NoVA residents used to the traffic would be able to navigate it. If I had out of town people visiting it would not be my first place of choice but a contender.

   Hits the mark every time. We’ve never had a bad meal or server ar Ruthie’s. Delicious cornbread, chicken fingers and pulled pork.

   The ambience is lovely and the service was good. Some of the food was excellent, but the one vegetarian entree (black bean burger) was lackluster. The bun was soggy, the burger was rather tasteless, and the overall texture was mushy. Please consider adding more vegetarian, non-salad entrees or make this burger better (look at Shake Shack's vegetarian options for inspo).

   Service was great. Food was good. Atmosphere was spot on for a Sunday brunch. I’m really picky about where I go out to eat. At the top of my list of priorities is service. They did a fantastic job. The food was good. I’m a vegetarian and there was more than enough options to satisfy me. The atmosphere was bright open and friendly. Overall it was a great experience. I’ll be back.

    Best grain bowl I ever had. So fresh, so many flavors and textures that went together beautifully. Highly recommend. The fried chicken sandwich was juicy and delicious. Service was very attentive. Not many vegan options, but the grain bowl, which was vegan, more than made up for the limited choices.
