Great service, great food, beautiful view. Waiter was awesome
The best place and the view amazing the food was so awesome
All of my food was overly cooked and dry and tasteless
Nice view, food is tasty. Staff is very friendly. Make reservations for faster service.
Food and Atmosphere was good and a fanstastic view. Service was sub par. Host was rude to my wife and our server was basically MIA besides bringing the food to the table.
Our family went for Father’s Day. The reservation was honored on time. Our server, Talia, was excellent and attentive.
The noise level was VERY loud at first. The music was overwhelming to the point where we had to shout at Talia to place our drink order. She said she spoke to the manager and the music was turned down. Thank goodness.
A little pricey, but good value overall. Very pleasant meal and made our day more special. 🥰
Our waiter Victoria was very nice and attentive to our table.
Food was ok, mimosa gave my wife and mother a bad stomach ache
They don't get the full 5 stars because they only had brunch options at a prefix menu of $92/pp. I don't mind a prefix menu but I don't really think it was worth it for items like chicken and waffles, french toast, eggs beni and steak?
Our waitress Emily was super , she made out experience 100% amazing.
Bryan was one of the best servers I’ve ever had! Would definitely come back again
It was for Father’s Day occasion and it was Awesome loved the food the service and the cocktails really loved the ambiance all around thank you Rusty pelican for making it special
Our waiter had no idea or knew items on the menu - he had to go to the kitchen 5 times when asked about the food. Waiter did not even know what desserts where offered - could not explain what macaroons, key lime tart, nor cheesecake were. It was incredible that someone with no knowledge of any type of food could be working in this type of restaurant. The Crab cake was so dry it crumbled. I did not eat them. The French toast sticks were enormous and were just ok. The steak was not good quality and dry. The poached eggs that came with everyone’s meals were hard and overcooked. The $18 Bloody Mary was tasteless. Overall for $92 per person it was just extremely overpriced for the quality of food we received and will not be returning
Excellent food and great service from Julian😊
For my husband one of the best fathers day !!!! The food was great!!
The restaurant was very understanding when I needed to change my reservation time. Upon arrival, the wait was under 5 minutes. The waiter did take some time to put in our drink orders, but aside from that, the service was good. I had the fish… and it was soooo tasty. Good portion sizes and the flavor of the fish was really good.
We had the very good luck of going on a night where there were fireworks across the bay. The table we got outside was beautiful and on a gorgeous night. The food was delicious and the portions were abundant for the price paid.
I went to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. It was our first time there, and we are definitely going back for another special occasion. The food's delicious, the service outstanding and about the ambiance, I'll say it's the most beautiful restaurant I've gone to, although I don't have too much to compare to. My husband was super happy and said this was one of the best surprise for his birthdays.
This Restuarant was beautiful!! Great views of the City, and great food. Booking with opentable waa easy and our server Valentina was lovely! Everything she recommended was amazing. Will definitely be back.
Perfect night out by husband and I. Fireworks, beautiful view, great food, superb presentation. Waiter was very attentive.
This place was absolutely amazing! Food was delicious, I had the salmon Benedict and my partner had the crab cake Benedict, and it was delicious. $25 for bottomless mimosas such a good deal and the mimosas are HUGE! the view was stunning, the restaurant is on the water and you get to look out to the city . The music is a bit loud so it is hard for you to hear but it makes the restaurant fun. It was overall an amazing time the waiters are on point with making sure that you’re happy with your meal and that you drinks are refilled. We had Chris as a waiter and he was super nice. I’ve come to Miami for my birthday and We originally were going to go to another restaurant but it was a reservation only. With Rusty pelican we made a reservation super quick and they had us seated within for five minutes. And let me just tell you they actually talk to you, Before we came to Rusty pelican we stopped at another place for brunch and we were completely ignored by the host, The host at Rusty pelican took time to greet us and everyone there was a super kind. Also it’s a great place to take pictures because the restaurant itself is beautiful. 100% will come back and 100% recommend
The good: Beautiful location. The bad: Food came out after an hour.. and was cold. Taste was bland, maybe OK for a 9 dollar meal at a chain restaurant but I expected a lot more here. Server was OK. Was really to bad because it was our first time here and we were looking forward to it.
Como siempre buena comida , buen ambiente y la mejor vista de Miami
Food was aceptable , but not waoooo like I was expecting for the price
Haven’t been to Rusty Pelican in a few years and so glad we were reminded of this wonderful place. The food, service, view and ambience from valet parking to checkin to table to departure was all exceptional and consistent. You can tell management focused on training their staff thoroughly with great intent.
LOCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALITY OF FOOD EXCELLENT.
My previous visit was fabulous, this time dissatisfaction.
Quality food cooking - very very mediocre
The waitress was particularly sweet and helpful. All staff very engaging and efficient.
Food was terrible 🤬Fried Clam appetizer was soggy and definitely previously frozen. Shrimp and lobster risotto was cold and bland. The 4 shrimps came straight from the frozen bag onto the dish. Tasteless food. Our drinks - mojitos 2 out of 3 were sent back to the bar twice and eventually replaced with margaritas which were just as bad. At $42 a plate you expect quality food. $280 for a party of 3, we shared 2 appetizer, 2 entree and 2 desserts- all around not the quality you should expect from Rusty Pelican or for this money. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
The food was great, the waitress (Valentina) was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. I believe our experience was that good bc of her service details. I would give the expiren e a 10 out of 10.
Drinks weren’t strong at all we had to send them back everything is was excellent!!!
We as for a dish with lobster and they told us that only they have it was cold tail from the raw bar or a risotto, but later on we saw a table having a hot lobster dish. It was a pitty because we went ther just to have that.
But everything else was perfect! We are totally coming back!
Our server, I believe his name was Justin, was AMAZING. He was so informative, friendly. He accommodation was so wonderful for my elderly aunts. The food was terrific. Music was somewhat loud, making it difficult, at times, to converse with my family.
Always a beautiful view, food always very good, and the service was extremely good.
The food was fair. My dish of shrimp and lobster was very disappointing. They gave me a meezly little lobster which was not worth the effort to work at as it had next to nothing in it.
I told the waitress we do not like corn bread and nothing else was offered ie. like a roll and butter.
For the prize we paid for the expensive entrees we could have had a much better meal elsewhere. I say that confidently as we eat out at least three times a week.
I made a reservation and noted it was a business dinner for six people. They sat us at a square booth and slid up another chair to accommodate the sixth person. It was very tight to say the least. When we mentioned that we had a reservation for a table, their reply was “everyone has a reservation.” Not exactly the best way you want to entertain a customer. After we were all finally settled in we placed our order for dinner. We ordered salads and then an entrée. Our entrée arrived at the table before our salad. When we mentioned to the waitress that we would prefer the salad first she had said that someone at our table preferred their meal to be served before the salad. That was a lie as the table was so small we could hear everyone’s conversation. They did not even offer to make it right. There’s so many plates because both the salad and entrée were served at the same time we did not have any room on our table for even a wine glass. The food was delicious but if you’re not comfortable to enjoy the beautiful view, what’s the point. Bottom line, good food with very poor customer service.
Terrible food and overpriced. Drinks in particular were not worth it. Don’t mind paying premium if worth it. Skip this one unless you are going for the view and appetizers
This was the best restaurant that my wife and I have been to in a long time. The appetizer was at the table within minutes of ordering. Our cocktails also arrived within 5 minutes. Just as we finished the appetizer then our food arrived. Our server definitely knew how to do his job and he did it very well. He was attentive without being pushy. Would gladly return to this restaurant time and time again
The views of the city were spectacular. Unfortunately the service was rushed. Lots of wait staff but very little attention to our table. Basically delivered the food and drinks.
They asked if was a special occasion. It was a dual birthday celebration. And, they didn’t do anything special for it. Why ask if you aren’t going to do anything about it. Lame!!
