Great view. The Lobster and risotto was good. The Chilean sea bass was very good but the plantain mash wasn’t too great. The complimentary cornbread and spread was amazing.
The food and service were fantastic highly recommend!!!
The service was decent, waiter was attentive and the views were breathtaking, but the quality and quantity of food was simply awful. I can't believe I spent hundreds of dollars on such a mediocre meal. Simply inexcusable. Will not return nor recommend this place.
My family and I were in the area, we are originally from our of state. I wanted to treat my boyfriend and my sister to a really special dinner and The Rusty Pelican was amazing. My sister is extremely gluten intolerant and Jeiliny G our server was so helpful and mindful of her restrictions. She is always nervous when going out to eat because most restaurant are not that careful. But she said she was so confident eating at The Rusty Pelican because of the steps they took to accommodate her. I highly recommend going there and will be back in the future!
View is incredible! Very quiet on a Friday afternoon in season during spring break and corona virus, soo. Weather was great. Inside and out very clean.
Table maintenance could have been better.
Most beautiful view of Downtown Miami! Especially if your dessert comes as the lights of the city come up. It is magical!
The view of the Miami skyline at night provided the perfect backdrop for our engagement dinner. Love you Dawn.
Es uno de mis restaurantes preferidos ! Por su vista , por su atención y su comida
Great views, excellent food, a great place to go!
Front desk a bit disorganized
This place was very nice and i would like to come back ! i really enjoyed this
Waiter got the order wrong. Food was low quality and over priced. I still tipped 20%
Was not happy with the food and not Worth the amount charge for the food. Hostess not very friendly at all. Service OK.
We had a great time. Great food and super accomodating
I did not enjoy my meal at the Rusty Pelican at all. I ordered the surf and turf which was the braised beef short rib with the poached lobster tail and truffle Mac & Cheese. I was really looking forward to the meal as I was in Miami celebrating my best friend’s birthday and bachelorette. The meal was EXTREMELY underwhelming. The lobster was gritty and had no quality or flavor. The Mac and cheese tasted like garlic and flour, no cream or cheese in sight. The short rib was fatty and lacked seasoning and there was a bunch of raw baby spinach just thrown on the plate. The food was disgusting, honestly. If you come to the rusty pelican be prepared to pay top dollar for mediocre food. This was the most disappointing meal we had while in Miami and it was sad to know it was our last meal there. The view was amazing but that was about it. Wait staff were inattentive and absent. The coffee and bread were the highlight it the meal.
Rusty is one of Miami water view dining staples. I'm 60 yrs old, and been seeing it since I was a child, and dining since I was 18. Nice to see it still relevant. I remember when the dress code required men to wear a coat. No coat, no dine. I wish those days could come back. Saturday, although we were dressed nice, and most people were, there's were some that I guess have no nice clothes (shorts, sweaty T-Shirts and flip flops), really?? Bring back the dress code please, make it the upscale restaurant it once was, cause my tab was UPSCALE.
Service was amazing, was waited on quickly and the atmosphere was so romantic.
Great restaurant with great views, nice dining room and lounge.
Food was quite good, fair pricing.
Very enjoyable, I will be back again.
Front desk staff was very rude. I used to live in miami, and would frequent the rusty pelican as one of my favorite spots. I have recommended to everyone I know traveling and living in miami as I've always had a great experience. The atmosphere, food, and and dining team were great. The front desk staff handling my reservation and seating us were incredibly rude and I was taken aback. It will prevent me from recommending this restaurant again.
The food was good. The service not so much. Our sever disappeared for quite some time. We had to try to find her to order another round of drinks. We ordered appetizers by the time she returned we decided not to order dinner. The atmosphere and ambience was excellent.
Awful service, average food, very loud inside, great view.
Incredible views of Biscayne Bay and the downtown Miami skyline. Very attentive service and excellent meal. Good choice of wines. Very upscale and an overall wonderful experience
I loved this place as a child in the 1970s and now I love to bring my children here when we visit Miami from Atlanta. It has great food, service and spectacular views.
