When we got to the restaurant, there were a bunch of people waiting for seats. A week ago, we tried getting in without a reservation and were told there was an hour and a a half wait. Because we had an OpenTable reservation, we got seated immediately. The service was great and we all enjoyed our food. The French Onion soup was outstanding.
Server was great, food took forever to come and it was cold. Extremely noisy we could hear our party of 3 talk in a booth. We love Rusty Bucket. We will try again and hopefully it will be better.
Great Food as always and great service! Thank you!
The newly renovated Olentangy store next to The Hills market is really nice now...more windows, better decor. It really needed a refresh. We got to sit outside which is also a really nice renovation. Our server was fantastic, attentive and resolved an issue we had with our son's buffalo chicken sandwich. He gets it every time we go and this one was sub par...the chicken was rubbery, fatty and not fresh looking or tasting. They quickly put in an order for another one and were nice enough to take it off of the bill...which I told them wasn't necessary...we weren't upset or anything, but the first one wasn't satisfactory at all. Their brussel sprout appetizer is fantastic! Plus my baja tacos were excellent, too.
Although not that busy, we had to wait
Good food and fun. VERY loud
Food, service & atmosphere was excellent! Highly recommend!!
We were seated in tables surrounding the bar. The servers were pleasant, but it seemed as if we were forgotten about a number of times. It took close to an hour for our meal to arrive, we were only offered refills on our drinks once, and it took close to 15 minutes to cash out. Total time at the restaurant was about 1 hour 45 minutes. Kind of a long time for pierogies, codwich, and kids pasta.
We’ll eventually go back to the Rusty Bucket as we’ve had many positive experiences in the past. This time just wasn’t the best...especially on a father/daughter date night.
Food was really good and service was excellent! Thank you!
Doughnuts for brunch...dip in Carmel sauce
Food was cool and nothing taste as bad as cold onion rings and fried fish. Booth was extremely tight for four to sit comfortably. Waiter was a friendly young man, but food prep could not keep up with demand and most tables looked to wait around 45 minutes to get their food.
There were five of us going to lunch yesterday at the rusty bucket Worthington. I had made a reservation in advance. When we got there we had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes to get a table. They told us every Thursday the whole back end of the restaurant was for a special party. I really do understand that they were very busy. our order was a very simple thing and that most of it was a bowl of soup. I was on a tight schedule to get to the doctor and it took over 90 minutes to get food, a check and out the door. He created an overall very bad experience for all of us. If we were told once we arrived that it was going to be that busy and slow we could’ve made other arrangements.
3 of our 4 meals were served cold. Server tried to be timely, but the kitchen was off their game. Server was assigned to too many tables to keep up with drinks etc.....he tried.
My experience at the Rusty Bucket was great. My parents and I came for dinner on a Friday night at 6:30 so I expected it to be busy. Our server, David, was great! He was extremely accommodating and quick on his feet. I had a great experience and would definitely come again. I highly recommend getting the Brussels sprouts to start :)
A nice, cozy atmosphere at the Rusty Bucket - Worthington. Very convenient particularly for those that live in Worthington Hills.
We had lunch here and the service was less than desirable. The server was not attentive and forgot to bring desired condiments, etc. after multiple requests. Three of four meals brought at same time, mine came later.
They have updated the exterior seating but the interior is tired and dark. We have been to two other Rusty Buckets in area and have been very pleased with ambiance, service and meals.
There was so many people in the restaurant for the first time since Covid. I am wondering if there are way too many people and not social distancing. Every seat at the bar was full
Our waiter Cory was helpful and friendly. The service was very good. We enjoyed the fish and chips as well.
Overall good food, good beer and drink menu, friendly service. Nice bar area and plenty of screens to catch sporting events.
Great experience. Waiter was awesome and food was great. My wife and I casually mentioned we were sharing our meals and the waiter brought out our food already split. Small thing, but it made our experience that much better.
A return visit to this place. It was crowded and noisy. Wait staff was excellent. Food was good but could have been better.
Louisa is an amazing server! This was our first time to this location. It was awesome! The service was top notch and the food was fabulous. My daughter was super hungry and Louisa got our appetizer out quickly.
Our server was great and food was delicious!
Server was outstanding even with the restaurant very busy, can adequately communicate how impressed I was with service. Keep up the outstanding work.
Mediocre food at best, server was very nice
Slow to get food and drinks, steak cooked MW and should have been MR....fixed promptly but took forever to get food. Restaurant was not super busy either.
Overall was nice place to grab dinner. My husband had the Philly steak sandwich which he enjoyed. I had the Reuben sandwich, I have had better tasting sandwiches from other places. I also had the onion rings, which mine were cold.
Waiter was great. Only issue is it took a long time to check us out
Food and server were great!! Our server was very friendly and on it the whole evening!!
Our server was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and safety protocols were in place. We had a great experience.
Kori was really amazing. She went out of her way for. So genuine. A star.
I had a reservation for 6:45 that was “ oops’ed” and given to someone else.
Then I was seated at the bar and told I’d get the first available booth in the bar.
No, that also was given away to someone “who had a fit”.
Next, we were seated with no server or place settings.
I had to stop someone several times to place an order.
The soup came, cold.
Sent back, still came back cold.
Still continued to request silverware.
My Pepsi product with the meal was requested several times...
Picked up at the bar after the meal was finished.
I cannot recall worse service...ever.
You can read all my other experiences, I compliment always.
I will not return.
I will not recommend.
Oh and there was not an adequate shield while we waited at the bar as a take patron sneezed and coughed.
I usually like this place BUT on this night (and some nights in the past as well) the food took FOREVER to get to everyone-- seemed to be a kitchen issue, as our waiter was warning everyone that food was taking VERY long to arrive...we got our main meal before others who were seated LONG before us, yet my wife's dish (chicken parm) was cold except for the very center which was lukewarm.... and then our appetizers came LONG AFTER our main meals.... AND we had to do dessert to go because we had already been there 1 hr and 45 minutes and had to get outta there
Right when we sat, we asked that the Blue Jacket game be put on the tv closest to us, as it had just started. We then asked the server to put it on as soon as possible, when he finally came to our table to get our drink order. He ended up taking our entire order, ringing it in, and our salads were delivered before we even got our drinks, and still no game on. Finally, we flagged another server down and asked to talk to a manager.
We explained the situation so far to her, and she was very apologetic, and got the game on for us right away! But then, our server was pretty frosty to us the rest of the meal. We gave him plenty of time to do it it and he couldn't be bothered!!
And then when we left at the end of the meal, to see him actually sitting at the bar, talking to someone and looking at his phone, just reiterated to us that if we hadn't asked for a manager, we might still be waiting for the game!
Yes, restaurants are struggling due to Covid and we are trying to support them by eating out, but we still expect some basic service!! We had to ask for everything! Another water for my husband's empty glass, ketchup and mustard for my son't hamburger that I specified when I ordered. I didn't get the extra glaze for my salmon I had requested but was tired of asking for stuff!!
It's too bad because we love Rusty Bucket but also expect to get what we ask for and pay for, without having to beg for it!
Food was very good. Tried some new options since we are frequent visitors. Enjoyed our dinner very much. Music is always a little loud and makes it difficult for conversation during dinner.
Added another person this visit. Good good snd 1/2 off appetizers great deal
Always have great meals and great service. My 3 favorite meals are the sliders, strip steak and pan seared salmon. A great place to eat and like the Covid updates and precautions.
Everything was great. RUSTY BUCKET is always consistent
Reliable neighborhood eatery that has managed well during COVID. Wait staff is very friendly and the menu is simple but perfect on evenings we don’t care to cook.
Service was great, our server very friendly and the food was very yummy.
I would repeat
