Rusty Bucket - Sarasota
Coming back again next week for my birthday! Really enjoyed our first visit.
Great place to grab a bite and, only if interested, watch a game. Outdoor seating makes it even better.
Meeting old friends, got there early evening, not very busy. Food was very good, liked the service. Would definitely come back.
Wonderful food and fast service! Our waitress, Cierra was terrific- had a group of 20 adults/kids. She made sure to take care of the kids first 😊
Don't know what policy is on animals in this restaurant, but a patron walked past our table with a dog on a leash. If dogs are allowed inside, I won't return nor recommend.
Hello, We certainly hope to not lose your patronage, but in the case of service animals we are required by law to allow entry.
Great food and service!!
We had a group of 8 people. Our waitress was awesome and did a great job, even with all our extra shenanigans. I recommended here for our group, and the food and service didnt disappoint. We will definitely be back! Great job!
Great place, good food and our server Ceaser was very attentive. We will be back for sure.
Pretty good food and service. Not over the top. To be expected for a sports bar/ pub experience.
Private room was perfect for 8-9 people
Meal was good except steak temperature...restaurant made it right by making a new one and then taking off the bill when the replacement took too long
The front door had a lock issue- so it was propped open- not a biggie but when it’s 96 degrees out it made for a rather warm dinner. Seems they could have come up with something better to handle it. Service was quite slow- they were busy but no waiting for a table. My food is always good here- but my friends chicken parm was lacking in flavor. Great beer selection
Food quality could have been better for sure for the price. Service was very good. The cheese blanket nachos were good. Harvest salad could have been so much better. Mac and Cheese had an odd taste to it. We couldn’t figure it out but didn’t eat much of it. Table had that dirty bar rag smell to it. We were here for s tournament and thought we would give it a try. Probably would not come back
Overpriced and most of the food was sent back. Will not be returning
Over all great experience
A total surprise and a delightful one at that. First time and had no expectation other than it was convenient to book on Opentable. Great waiter, good food, fair prices, everyone was friendly. Floor manager checked on us twice to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Will be back.
Great for lunch. Very accomodating and great service.
The female Bartender was fabulous
The wings tasted old and the taste of the other food we ordered was ok. I will not be returning to this restaurant, as it had nothing great to offer and wasn’t good. Also, the bathroom faucet didn’t even work!
As stated our waiter was great and the Buffalo chicken sandwich best sandwich in town!!
Awesome as usual was our son's 20th birthday they went above and beyond to make it very special
Sean did a great job with 10 people
All-around amazing experience! Our server was a very sweet fast and efficient! The food was amazing!
Table was sticky. Drink was watered down
Not one thing special done for Mother's Day. Very disappointing.
Hats off to the chef. Great food made with much care. And especially to our server, Alicia. She was just phenomenal. We will ask for her every time. She really is very attentive and friendly. She works her butt off to make sure her customers are satisfied and happy!!!
Service was outstanding. Couldn’t say enough good things about the waiter. Food was good but comparable to chili’s or Applebee’s at a little higher of a price tag.
I've eaten there before and recommended it for celebrating my work retirement. The quality wasn't as good. The tortilla chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Overall, everything was good, but could have been better.
It was a busy night with multiple large groups so our food was slow to be delivered however our waitress Amy was great (as always) and the food was delicious!
Our server Amy was incredible! We had a great time.
It was my first time visiting this establishment and I'm certain my last. I was there because someone told us about the restaurant. I sat outside with a party of 4; Dogs barked constantly across from each other; we each ordered Turkey burgers well done; two came out rare; I also ordered whole wheat bun and got white bread; ordered non-seasoned french fries, they gave my fries to the wrong person and gave me the seasoned fries.
Long story, short.....a horrible experience!
This was our first time visiting Rusty Bucket. We all enjoyed our food selections and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We will definitely visit again.
Decent food but a little pricey. Worst part was the service. Little busy but I have never been somewhere where they were so slow. 8min for someone to come over for drinks. Then another 10 min to get a margarita.
Cute place and was able to accommodate a party of 10 on short notice, but that may have been my first hint. Menu was okay, higher end bar food, which I like. Our server was great for a big party, but everything we asked him if it was any good was met with an “eh” - that was probably hint number two. Pizza was sort of bland and tasteless, almost like everything needed more seasoning. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great.
Double nickel salad had many lettuce stalks and chicken was dry.
We have been here before and think it’s good. We had a reservation. A little delay in getting seated. Will elaborate shortly. But still good.
Overall it was good but what you want to hear it was a fantastic experience. In order for that to happen the wick has to be turned up a little more. More responsive at the front desk communication to the server they have a new table and a sense of more attention. Compared to Europe in general you are a head of the game. Europe believes in very relaxed dining. One thing you need to be aware of. We sat near the bar. You only have one person at the reception desk whom we also observed also served food and cleaned tables. We observed at least two tables of customers walking out waiting to at least put their name in or to communicate they wanted a table. The front was unattended. Not due to negligence but appears to be expectations of assignment of duties. Get another up front and the walk outs will pay their wages on the busy days. For it being St Patrick’s drinking day/evening you were not that busy as one would expect.
Service was terrible!!! Host didn’t even know how to use open table.
I ordered onion rings with my sandwich instead of french fries which was an upcharge over fries. When my sandwich arrived, there were four small to medium onion rings and one small french fry on my plate with the sandwich. I asked the waiter if that was the standard serving size. He patted me on the shoulder and said he would bring more. He came back with an additional four or five onion rings which I appreciated. Someone is not looking at plates to see that they are correct when they leave the kitchen. My granddaughter had a job like that when she was in high school at a Flix theater that served food and drink in the theater. The Rusty Bucket might want to someone assigned to do meal Q.C. before plates leave the kitchen.
Not a place to return to.
Great spot for gathering with friends. Food and service are excellent.
Server was not very attentive, took a long time to be greeted, put in drink order and to get drinks. Didn't check on us during meal to see if refills we're needed.
Server showed very little attention to our group of six. One person in our group ordered soap for their main course, and all 5 other dinners came out-no soup. That party had to ask twice. We had to flag down the server several times just for water refills.
One of our party ordered a taco salad. One flat tortilla with two lbs of shredded lettuce on top. Rueben sandwich was okay-fries were lukewarm.
Not planning on returning.
