Rusty Bucket - Hilliard
Make sure to get the fried pickles.
Waitress never stopped by to check on us after our food until ten minutes later. The problem with that is they didn’t bring all of my food out and she didn’t know until she checked on me. Well the rest of my food was cold by then.
Nice to walk in and have table
Ready. Good food, a bit pricey. Noise level is high and hard to talk to person next to you.
Our Rusty Bucket experiences around the Columbus area have been sketchy at best since the purchase by CMR. We have stopped going to the Dublin location due to repeated poor service and inconsistent food quality. This Hilliard location was a definite improvement over Dublin and I am willing to go again soon. (My family have been customers since the first location 20 years ago.) I hope that they get their act together and go back to the quality and consistency at this casual restaurant level that's needed in the area. CMR is known for consistency and quality in the market, and that's what is the most disappointing.
We like the restaurant, however, on numerous occasions, we have ordered the taco salad and it has come out cold. This has happened at least 3 times.
Our waiter was extremely slow & had to ask for refills. We always have great food but here lately, they are slacking on service.
Always a great experience at Rusty Bucket!
We were there for an out of town basketball tournament. Family friendly and cozy atmosphere.
We had 4 small children with us. Our server was amazing. She brought the kids food and drinks our first. She came back to check on us frequently.
Had a reservation. Got seated immediately even though we were 5 minutes late. We were greated within 3 minutes. Our appetizers came out right before our first which didn't give us enough time to enjoy them. But everything tasted great. Refills were offered frequently. Overall a great experience
we had a great meal and wonderful service. The restaurant was busy but we had made a reservation...........and we were seated right at 6:00. thank you so much!
Good food, good service. I am always satisfied at Rusty Bucket.
We visited the Rusty Bucket on 12/31/2018. The appetizers were good, but my wife and her friend were particularly disappointed in the pesto chicken. The pasta was watery with little to no pesto. Typically, the Rusty Bucket is a solid choice, but not on this particular occasion.
Service was great. The waiter was very knowledgeable, friendly and fast.
New years eve dinner with our 7yr old. Food was and is always good. Free kids night was a bonus! Our only issue was being sat in the bar area, which was ok at first, but then resulted in a decent wait to be noticed and it seemed food took extra long as well. The restaurant did not look that busy. Unless they are slammed, usually families prefer a regular restaurant area with their kiddos to sit.
I’ve been here and had amazing food and exceptional service, but not this time. On this visit the food was very bland and not well prepared. I didn’t get what I asked for. The service was ok until they left the check and never came back. We wanted dessert and were never even asked.
Server was not very attentive. Had to hunt him down for refills.
Grand daughter got fish and chips and it was a piece of fish in basket and we were told fries did not come with it.
Don’t call it fish and chips if it doesn’t come with fries.
All very good except was too hot on "outdoor" patio. Veggie pizza is really good. Great place for kids
This is a great place to go if you want reliable great food.
It’s about average. Nothing terrible and nothing too special.
Our server (I think her name was Tiffany) was amazing! She was very energetic and did a great job with our party. She was very sweet and kind to my mother who has dementia and is sometimes difficult.
Parking was an issue. We needed handicapped and all spots were taken. Had to park far away. (It was Friday at 5:45).
Our waiter was friendly but we ordered an appetizer (queso spinach dip with chips) and we barely got started and our main meal was brought to us. The manager was nice enough to credit our appetizer on the bill for us.
Had a group for a birthday. Felt like they over booked. We got put on the patio near an open window. Asked me move because we had a baby with us. Got stuck under the heat lamps which were way too hot. Food was okay. Only redeeming thing was that our waitress was very nice snd efficient.
The menu was varied, so I would try this restaurant again; however, I tried one of their signature meals, fish tacos, and they were awful. The citrus cabbage slaw in them was delicious, but WAY too much of it. The fish was so dry & overcooked I had to saw it with a knife. The sour cream-based dressing was non-existent, and when I requested more to give the tacos some sort of moisture, I was given a tub of plain sour cream. For $13.49 it was a complete disappointment.
Better than usual.....still believe portions size are small for the price.
Service was better than usual however.
Great time for all!
We had a large groups and some rowdy kids. They did great with us!!
Had a good time with family dinner. Plenty of time to talk and eat.
We had a party of 12 on the patio. Although it was rainy and chilly outside the patio heaters and clear plastic window covers made it very comfortable. Food and service were great. Waitress did separate checks without a problem.
Great food, great service, Brittni Lemon was exceptional.
Brittany our waitress was awesome!
We had a large party of 14 and the OpenTable app was great to get the reservation, and Rusty Bucket staff made this a great night out for us. Great variety of food and drink options. The service was outstanding.
Love, 💕. Always get great food and best service. Try to try one thing different, if not go for my favorite Double Nickel w/ chicken tenders!
My favorite place in Hilliard. Never disappointed when we go. Great staff. Especially in Hilliard.
We were celebrating our two daughters graduation from Ohio State. We had 16 in our party. The service was superb, food was brought out quickly and was delicious. We had a wonderful afternoon. Would highly recommend.
Tiffany was amazing!!
We had a great time and the service was phenomenal. We were a group of 10 that was pretty demanding especially after a Buckeyes home
football game! We had the spinach dip, pot stickers,
friend pickles and quesadillas for apps. The salmon was a favorite. The best chicken fingers around.
